You can learn all about Revati nakshatra 27, and the whole Lunar Zodiac of 27 Lunar Signs or ‘Nakshatras’ by enrolling on my wonderful caring Nakshatras Course.
You do need to know just the basics of Vedic Astrology in order to follow my Nakshatras Course. The Course focuses on two charts: yours and mine. Part 1 of the Course focuses on each of the 27 Nakshatras. Part 2 of the Course focuses on the wonderful, powerful Interpretative Techniques using the Nakshatras, for example for relationships Analysis and health.

The Nakshatras are such sure descriptors of our emotional self and consciousness. They describe this: warts and all. The benefit of their pulling nu punches is that we can use such sure declaration to grow into our higher and more spiritual nature which the Nakshatra points to.

Revati is traditionally about travelling: A journey – in fact this is our final journey from this life to the next.
Revatis are Mystics with a belief in the goodness of humanity. It all depends on their level of consciousness, and whether they can find the energy, will and potential for this growth.
At their lowest level of consciousness, they will be merely idealistic.
At higher levels of consciousness, they will be: compassionate and forgiving. Devoted to good.

Revatis often need to live by water. They are dedicated to giving nourishment. They are empathic, sweet, sensitive and caring, responsible and orientated to friendship.

But Revatis are usually so sensitive that they have absorption issues. They are totally flexible to the point of self-loss. In relationships they can be co-dependent. They have problems with boundaries and psychic protection management. Revatis need seclusion to protect themselves from the harsh realities of life and other people.

N.B. Revatis are meant for worlds greater and more special and more beautiful than this world. They feel let down by society and the world as it fails to live up to their ideal.

Revatis sow the seed for fruition at a later date. Being the last nakshatra of the zo¬diac, Revati is powerful in realising the ultimate truths about ourselves, life, death, transformation and change. The experience of Revati changes our way of thinking to¬wards a higher, deeper perspective.

Revatis are Visionary and beyond the consciousness-level of their society. Revatis protect the soul in its spiritual journey through this life towards death and rebirth. Revati is the final phase in a cycle of rebirths, so there is a great need to find one’s true path.
Revati is attuned to the great consciousness and the collective consciousness, but definitely not to the mass consciousness. Revati is attuned to Vishnu energy of gathering together universal life force and consciousness, preserving and dissolving and re-emanating.
Revati is the Nakshatra of the Dreamer.
As an important and hoped-for feature: Revatis are said to always get support when they need it most! Revati sees their task as being resolving the duality inherent in human existence.

Disappointments: Revatis lives are full of disappointments. This is because they are extremely idealistic. They can live in a different reality from the rest of us and this makes them hard to understand.

Sacrifice: The Revati spiritual path is sacrifice. To give up what you desire for the good of others. Revati does that through service to humanity, working, doing jobs that get no appreciation. Vedic philosophy teaches that all should make their life one of sacrifice. It is a difficult path to follow for others which Revati makes its own.

Deity: Pusha Aditya is Nourishing. Pushan is the god of nourishment and safe travelling. Pushan is the “Prosperer” (a form of the Dawn). The deity is Pushan is the shepherd god, who leads the animals and the soul home after a long and weary journey. The importance of Pushan dates back to the time before money, when the wealth principle was cattle, and thus he corresponds to the Rune Fehu. This is the gentle shepherd who takes us to the “Promised Land”, and the sign of Pisces is where the soul is achieving liberation through surrender, not just through effort. Pushan protects humans and animals who are at risk of getting lost. His influence was described in Rig Veda (6:53) as making even the stingy people generous, inspiring even the hard-hearted to become compassionate. He destroys the greed within people and inclines them to devotion and love, compassion and generosity. Pushan is the Guide pointing out to us the straightest, purest, surest paths, inspiring people to find gurus.

Pushan and Marriage: Pushan represents the semen, an indication of the seed of creation. He connects to the marriage ceremony. This is where two souls are joined together, and the merging of their beings can create another being, another soul. In Vedic thought when couples marry, they are no longer two but become one – a divine union.

Nature: There are feelings of inferiority and low self-esteem. There’s such a sensitive nervous system.

Unfavorable: Spiteful—especially when hurt or jealous; hot temper flashes and totally stubborn if provoked. overindulgent; takes on too many problems from other people (which may hurt their health); perverted or amoral attitudes; gets into debt; low fertility. Indecisive, impressionable, over-flexible to the point of severe self-loss. Physical weakness and prone to childhood illnesses. They can rely on unreal beliefs, and can take refuge in alcohol, denial and delusion. Can be too weak and indulgent, and fail to take needed action and initiative. Can be far too passive. Has no sense of limits. Does too much of everything.

PurvaBhadra Nakshatra & Nakshatras Course

Michael Conneely

PurvaBhadra Nakshatra & Wonderful Worldwide Nakshatras Course (distance Learning and personal sessions through VC)

Learn the Nakshatras, the wonderful and immeasurably powerful 27 Lunar Signs of Vedic Astrology. I teach a worldwide Nakshatras Course, and here’s a presentation of the 25th Nakshatra: PurvaBhadra Nakshatra number 25 (video below)

Vedic astrology also uses an even more ancient zodiac as well as the traditional twelve Sun Signs: this is the immeasurably powerful lunar zodiac of 27 signs: The Nakshatras.

The Nakshatras depict our realities, our Mind and our emotional natures in a magical and dream time way that is pre-solar, pre-logical and pre-linear, and in a way that is hugely accurate, powerful and meaningful. It is such an eye-opener when you know and understand the nature of the Nakshatra in which each of your planets fall in your Vedic birth chart. Once you know this, you can manage your life better, purify, heal and empower yourself.

PurvaBhadra Nakshatra Spans: 20°00’Aquarius to 3°20′ Pisces in the Sidereal Zodiac of Vedic Astrology.
PurvaBhadra’s Planetary Ruler: Jupiter (Dasa-Ruling Planet: Jupiter : 16 years).
Symbols: 1. The Sword. As a weapon, and as cutting of ties to our attachments or former life. Deaths and endings. Also: 2. Front Legs of a Funeral Bier or Hearse: the journey of death, the journey to rebirth.
Power Animal: Male Lion: pride, leadership, respect.
Motivation: Artha – wealth and worldly comfort. Focus on wealth-creation.
Guna Triplicity: Sattva, Sattva and Rajas: SSR
Ayurvedic Dosha: Vata – scatter, discontent and irritation. Sees issues from both sides (for good or ill).
Gana: Human. down to earth and tangible.
Sex Male.

The Devata or Ruling Deity of PurvaBhadra Nakshatra is a complex expression of death, destruction and the path to rebirth. He is sometimes: Aja Ekapada – The One-Footed Goat: a form of Rhudra, god of Storms. Thunder God, and therefore a form of Shiva. Cleansing Fire. And the name PurvaBhadra means Hearse or a vehicle for the transport of Fire: The spiritual power of Fire. But PurvaBhadra is also associated is the Fire Dragon (Ajaikapat) – He and his brother the water dragon, Ahirbudhnya (the deity of UttaraBhadra) are seen as brother, the sons of Visvakarma, the Heavenly Architect: they are the serpent path to transcendence: rebirth through the destructive storm.

PurvaBhadra is a Krura or Fierce/cCruel Nakshatra. It’s energy is unique, eccentric and mystical. It’s passionate, transformational, extreme, radical, indulgent. Impetuous and opinionated. Must follow their own path: to Hell or to Heaven. Highly strung. These people are idealist, non-conformists, power to influence others, speaker, orator, demagogue. They are intense. There’s passion, ambition, fascination with the dark side of life, transformation, fire, warmth. Motivated to fulfill their Rajas desires. Strongly sexual – can be dark. Fierce but in a way benevolent. Sacrifice has to be undertaken for a Higher Cause. Motivated to make a difference to the world. Independent and self-reliant. Sincere and hard-working, they can achieve deep philosophical wisdom. At their best these people are humane, hopeful philosophical, truthful, charitable, liberal, systematic and polite.

PurvaBhadra Nakshatra people are very active: These people can rush into immature mistakes, and lay heavy, even violent, even ‘head-banging’ trips on others. They can hold extreme views and Fundamentalism. Escapist, iconoclastic. Angry, impulsive and anxious. They need to calm their lower self. At their lower manifestation, these people are critical, miserly, irreligious and mentally violent or unstable. Persecuting. Plotting, violent and criminal. This side of PurvaBhadra can like Heavy Metal clubs and fetishes and macabre dark tantric rituals. The dark side of art. They often coerce others into the spiritual insights and pathways. These people often have a Dark Side which is concealed from the world. And they can be simply horribly two-faced! They can have wavering or unstable mind and nefarious. They can be fearful, nervous, cynical and eccentric. They can be full of sadness and problems. Prone to accidents.

Guidance:

PurvaBhadrapada people have lots of energy and they have to direct it carefully. There is a risk that the energy is used for self-centred goals. Another danger might be that the individual might not know how to handle it. In that case the energy can manifest itself as rage or as ways of ambition that can never be satisfied (whenever one goal is achieved, there is an immediate search for the next goal). They need to learn how to deal with large amounts of life energy and to focus these on a particular and higher-nature goal: focused on what is important for inner growth.

PurvaBhadras need to learn to Seek balance and transformation. At their best, the nature of Purvabhadra is Lightning and Metaphysical Inspiration: Purva Bhadra is like lightning striking us from heaven, giving us a glimpse the eternal. this lightning strike of inspiration that connects us to the heavens and of course they must not mistake the glimpse for arrival at the actual goal. At its best, PurvaBhadra’s lightning spark of creativity takes us to a more metaphysical and timeless spiritual place.

Dhanistha Nakshatra Number 23

Michael Conneely

Here is some detail about Nakshatra 23: Dhanistha Nakshatra.

Enroll on my Nakshatras Course to lean more, and to learn about all 27 Nakshatras. The Nakshatras are the wonderful visionary 27 Lunar Sign Zodiac of Vedic Astrology: www.nakshatrasadvancedcourse.com.

It will be great to share this vibrant healing and empowering visionary journey with you. I look forward to hearing from you.

Nakshatra 23. Dhanishta Nakshatra
Sidereal Zodiac: 23°20′ Capricorn to 6°40′ Aquarius
Padas: Leo, Virgo, Libra, Scorpio
Planet ruler: Mars (Dasa Period 7 years)
Devata: The Eight Vasus – gods of Light and Abundance.
Symbol: Mridanga and Bansuri, The Drum (of Shiva) or Flute (of Krishna)
Yoni (Power Animal): Lioness – pride, leadership, respect.
Sex: Female
Motivation: Dharma
Guna Triplicity: Sattva, Tamas and Tamas
Ayurvedic Dosha: Pitta.

Spanning 23°20′ Capricorn – 6°40′ Aquarius The symbol for Nakshatra 23 Dhanistha is the drum, and Dhanishta is ruled by Mars
Dhanishta Nakshatra is placed half in the Vedic sign of Capricorn and half in Aquarius. Both are ruled by Saturn, representing restriction, but Dhanishta Nakshatra is ruled by the opposing energy Mars – which of course stands for bravery and action.

When Mars and Saturn conjoin, it is usually considered a warlike formation. But the war in this case is being fought between the material and the spiritual self.
Saturn brings forth situations that enable past karma to be cleansed.
Mars wants to break through spiritual barriers but Saturn restricts it because there are still areas of life to perfect before spiritual liberation can be achieved.

Dhanishta Nakshatra means a flute or a drum. Here it means the flute of Krishna or the drum of Shiva. The symbol of the drum implies it is beating to the rhythm of someone else – others are to play their song through this drum.

It is essentially a lonely existence from a very early age. This can mean that you are fulfilling other people’s expectations rather than your own: for example, your parents’ expectations, the expectations of your church or culture.

Importantly, both the drum and the flute are hollow from within; this means an emptiness within the Dhanishta person unless he finds something to fill it.
Sometimes this obsession to fill the emptiness can be fruitless chasing of dreams or illusions.

Dhanishta Nakshatra can be visionary, intuitive and good for public activities. The Nakshatra is favourable for material wealth and property. They desire fame and recognition, can make good leaders, and are regal and heroic, with sometimes a showy streak.

Dhanisthas are definitely good conversationalists. They are Social. They love to be part of a group. They can be light-hearted and sensitive, but this can change into fickleness and self-indulgence.

Negatively, Dhanisthas are Self-seeking. They can be greedy and self-absorbed, narcissistic. They can be rash and arrogant.

Their central characteristic is that they can have difficult relationship issues. Marriage can be delayed, denied and prevented due to the effect of others in their life, like a weak father or an over-bearing mother.

One of their problems is that they become false, insincere and empty because they live up to conditioning from others such as parents or place of work. When this happens, they become deceptive, ready to hurt people, bad tempered, and overtaken by their belief in their invincibility and warlike disposition. They can exude vanity and obstinacy. Stubbornness can permeate their life. They hates being told what to do. It’s very dangerous to collude or prop up a negative Dhanistha Nakshatra type who has stooped to behave like this.

Dhanisthas have a captivating smile and roving eyes, and this can support deceptiveness and cruelty. With their firm will, they can become selfish, decisive, violent and alert. By nature they can be extravagant, ambitious, greedy and liberal. And actually, when the chips are down, they can be very cold in dealing with others. They can be stingy, greedy and covetous. Inconsiderate, heartless and revengeful. Can be aloof and arrogant.

But the higher-manifesting Dhanisthas have a scientific or legal cast to the mind, and may have interest in economics. They can enjoy the excitement of travel. Mars makes them adventurous and courageous and Saturn enables them to get the needed resources together. They can make their fortune away from home.

The Nakshatras are such unbelievably accurate declaration and description of the person’s personality. They depict our emotional self and the self of our consciousness so accurately – but it’s ‘warts and all’! They accurately depict the highest and the lowest manifestation of the energy and characteristics that we are born into dependent upon having an emphasis in one Nakshatra or another in our birth chart.

And by perceiving the lowest possibilities, we can use that perception to commit to the good. We can embark on healing. We can embrace empowerment. We can pluck victory out of what could be defeat in our life. We can commit to transformation and growth. We can heal and empower.

And when you do a Chart Reading for another person, the extra dimensions brought in by the Nakshatras system, almost at a glance can RADICALLY transform your Reading!
The extra dimensions brought in by Nakshatra Analysis are breath-taking!

Nakshatras Course Learn Vedic Astrology with Michael Conneely

Michael Conneely

For details of my wonderful and very genuine worldwide Nakshatras Course, see: www.nakshatrasadvancedcourse.com.

First of all, let me say that it’s not really advanced in that you only need to know the basics of Vedic Astrology in order to be able to do this course.

But let me also say that this course is really advanced when you see all that you will learn from it!

What you study in part 1 of this Course is each of the 27 Nakshatras or Lunar Signs of Vedic Astrology in turn.

You get full manual of background notes and charts to start the course. These set out the different spectrums of analysis criteria by which the Nakshatras are understood, such as the Dosha, the ruling planet, the ruling God and so on.

And you get quite exalted and fascinating notes as you move from one Nakshatra to the next in your study.

And for each Nakshatra, in addition to the notes, you get a video.

And what you do in the Part 1 course, is you write up your own ‘take’ on each Nakshatra in turn. And you also make a study of each Nakshatra in which one of your planets falls or which is occupied by one of my planets. This way we keep the course grounded and full authentic, genuine and caring. We are dealing with the lives and destinies of two flesh and blood people here. There’s no ranted formula or non-genuine analysis systems.

And, if we encounter a Nakshatra in our study sequence which is not occupied by either a planet of yours or mine, you can bring in the chart of a family member of celebrity so as to study in what way that Nakshatra affects the energy and manifestation of the planet occupying it.

Not that my course is always geared to perception of the healing potential of each feature of your chart, and dedicated to your empowerment. I work closely with my partner Maggie Pashley who is a worldwide Healer. See her website www.maggiepashley.com and we run a healing Centre on the Atlantic Coast of Ireland in County Sligo.

Part 2 of my Nakshatras Course is a study of the powerful Vedic Astrology analytic techniques that use the Nakshatras system. For example, you learn and test out how you will experience the energy of a Nakshatra and the personality of a person who has emphasis of any particular Nakshatra, in terms of the numerical sequence that Nakshatra occupies from the Nakshatra occupied by your own natal Moon. These systems are such as Nadi Nakshatras, Navtara, health Astrology and Prediction using the Nakshatras.

So: Why study the Nakshatras???

Well:

They are such unbelievably accurate declaration and description of the person’s personality.

So: go to my Nakshatras Course website and enroll: www.nakshatrasadvancedcourse.com.

Shravana Nakshatra Key Words: The Listener, learner, knowledge quest. Informed. Persevering and shrewd. Goal orientated, and this becomes dangerous if their goals are unwholesome. Shravana Nakshatra nature is to be fierce and severe in a balanced way.

The ideal best spiritual path of Shravana is the way of listening and the gaining of knowledge.  This knowledge should lead to meditation (not only to knowledge of trivial facts).  The disciple may eventually become a guru himself who passes on knowledge.  This, therefore, is a meditative constellation.  Listening to the guru leads to becoming one with him and to meditation. Each Nakshatra has a special power or Shakti, the power of Sravana allows for connection. Uttara Ashadha Nakshatra 21

Michael Conneely

Michael ConneelyUttara Ashadha Nakshatra 21 and Worldwide Nakshatra Course

Uttara Ashadha Nakshatra is one of the wonderful 27 Nakshatras:
The Lunar Zodiac of Vedic Astrology. Uttara Ashadha Nakshatra spans: 26°40′ Sagittarius to 10°00′ Capricorn (Dhanus to Makara),

Uttara Ashadha Nakshatra is quite an uncompromising energy. It’s Ruler is The Sun – power, vitality, strength, leadership; its ruling deity are The Vishwadevas – The Universal Gods.
Uttara Ashadha’s symbol: Planks of a bed – not so good for marriage, not so comfortable, but a place to rest.
The Power animal/yoni: Mongoose – viciousness, speed.
Uttara Ashadha’s Motivation is Moksha – spiritual liberation. Its Caste is: Kshatriya, Warrior. Its nature is to be sharp and dreadful in an active way.
Translation: Mongoose means ‘unchallenged victory’. the latter invincible one.
Stars: The Four stars of Uttara Ashadha are in Sagittarius.

UTTARA ASHADHA Key Words:
Enduring, invincible, aggressive. can storm its way forward. Dogged persistence to succeed. Responsible. A challenger with a forceful path, who can have luck in the nick of time. Can be a lonely enduring path. Much more introspective than that the preceding Nakshatra, the showy Purva Ashadha. More warrior than Brahmin. They can get totally involved in their task. Can penetrate deeply into knowledge. They have innate leadership qualities and usually affluence. They are Law-abiding and religious, genial. patient, righteous and responsible. Methodical, sincere and calculating.

Note that 5° Capricorn is the exact debilitation degree for Jupiter, so the light of knowledge can be obscured as the individual becomes obsessed with paying karmic debts.

Jupiter rules the Sagittarius part of Uttara Ashadha, but Saturn rules the Capricorn part. Jupiter is about expansion, but Saturn is about contraction – and Jupiter is at his greatest debilitation in the Capricorn part of Uttara Ashadha. There is an energy in the Saturn part especially, of moderation and practicality, and there may be not too much hope, idealism or expansiveness. It is maybe a place for endurance and concrete action rather than words. Yet there can be misplaced idealism. Every error someone with emphasis in Uttar Ashadha makes is amplified due to the enormous capacity of this nakshatra to be of influence in the outside world. The emphasis here can be on concrete achievement. Nerves of steel. Exaggerated attention to worldliness or to power structures. Accumulation.

Basically, Uttara Ashadhas can have innate great integrity, and can be sincere, committed, ambitious. They fight for what they believe is right and practise what they preach. They often make advisors. Uttara Ashadhas have great stamina and constancy. If they are not fully engaged in a project, they can get apathetic.

They can be pioneering. They can be noted for a fresh start, honest, great insight, ambitious, but sometimes can fail to carry through

Uttara Ashada Nakshatra shows how actions are always victorious over ideas. Sagittarius preceding can be lazy, and idealistic about something that is not good.

The ruling deities of Uttara Ashadha are the universal gods that guarantee victory. It is where Sagittarius becomes Capricorn where hopes and inspirations become tangible realities.

Negativley, Uttarashadhas can be rigid, unbending, upholding. Can get self-centred and stubborn. Can have losses in early life, but more success as their life progresses.

N.B. Love Scripts of Uttara Ashadha:
This is the one of the 27 Lunar Signs or Nakshatras that has no natural mate, and thus is usually a very difficult life-script for marriage. Can have difficulties in marriage or sexual incompatibilities. The Uttara Ashadha symbol is the planks of a bed: an austere bed, not made for comfort. The hard bed reflects your austere attitude to relationships.

They like control so their partners can feel pushed out. Can go for material comfort and success, but not pleasure. They show stubborn, self-centred approach and can develop lack of interest in relationship.

Typically, Uttara Ashadhas can be composed and stoical. They tend to keep an emotional distance from others. They can have difficulty expressing warmth and love. Thay can have a difficult relationship with their father and this colours how they view love.

If Uttara Ashadhas are involved in something that bores or stresses them, they can become dull and lazy. There is a self-indulgent streak within them that defies your otherwise austere nature.

Uttara Ashadhas have complex Sexuality. The animal symbol of Uttara Ashadha is the mongoose. There is no female mongoose in the Nakshatra animal signs. For Uttara Ashadhas, therefore, there are no ideal partners. Often they have no instinctive understanding of your sexuality. To fulfil their spiritual path, they can have to learn to compromise on their sexuality.

Typically, to hide their lack of sexual confidence and low self-esteem, Uttara Ashadhas appear active and bold. If they fancy someone you make a play for them. You are fast workers and can get involved very quickly. But once they are involved, it can become very clear that they do not know what to do with their lovers. Not having an ideal mate in the Nakshatra system hinders Uttara Ashadha’s sexual knowledge. They can be passionate yet cold, self-indulgent yet ascetic. The right partner is one who accepts their intrinsic spirituality and makes them comfortable with their sexuality.

Uttara Ashadhas hate secrecy or deception so you set high standards for their partners and if they fail, can be very aggressive and will not wait till they have rooted out their dishonesty. They need to avoid becoming suspicious for the sake of it. And as they are plain-speaking and direct, they may not understand harmless wiles and sexual play from others. it can be that they can’t be bothered and choose to lead the life of an ascetic. In a woman’s chart, this person may opt for a practical marriage or marriage for money.

find their partners are too ascetic, boring or not much fun, especially if planet occupies pada 2 of Uttar Ashadha.

Favorable: Uttara Ashadha earns a good living; believes in charitable giving; brave; does well in foreign countries; good conversationalist; enjoys music and dance; good organizational abilities; ambitious, motivated to accomplish things and develop their careers; likes old and mysterious things; could be skilled in astrology

Unfavorable: Uttara Ashadha cane be self-seeking, aggressive; worried; capable of hurting others; makes up stories; deceptive in that they will either say what is not so, withhold information, or understate matters; don’t like to be told what to do; argumentative; too talkative; select mates who often are very different in personality and outlook

The symbol of Uttara Ashadha, a tooth, is a sharp thing and analogous to this Uttara Ashadha has a keen intellect, which enables him to see through the wrong ways of the ego.  The elephant is an animal with a great, positive strength.  A person in whose horoscope Uttara Ashadha plays an important role is challenged to use that strength.

Purva Ashadha Nakshatra Number 20

Michael Conneely

Purva Ashadha is the 20th Nakshatra in the wonderful, powerful and surely declarative 27-sign
Lunar Zodiac of vedic astrology: The Nakshatras.

The Nakshatras are the truly wonderful 27-sign Lunar Zodiac of Vedic Astrology that is such a sure declaration as to our emotional nature, our consciousness, our life scripts, our relationships and health astrology.
Purva Ashadha Nakshatra spans: 13°20′ to 26°40′ Vedic Sagittarius. Purva Ashadha is ruled by Venus and its Deity is: Apas, the Water God. Its symbol is: The Elephant’s Tusk, or the fan, and its translation is: The Former Unsubdued. Purva Ashada Nakshatra means “early victory”. Its Power Animal/Yoni: Male Monkey. Its motivation is: Moksha. Its Ayurvedic Dosha: Pitta, and its Quality is: Fierce.
The Principal Stars of Purva Ashadha Nakshatra are: An- Naaim. PurvaAshada lies entirely within the Constellation of The Archer: Sagittarius. It consists of two stars in angle to the third star: Kaus Borealis and Kaus Australis are in angle to Kaus Media. Hence the shape of the Archer’s bow or the fan.

Purva Ashadha Nakshatra Key Words:

Strength and Victory. Invincible: they smash through anything in their way. Proud, independent. Obstinate and can’t be influenced by others. The fan denotes superiority. Here’s a list of key words that Purva Ashadas need to often learn about so as to purify and heal their natures:

They have an intense conviction that they cannot lose and they have the ability to come out on top – and a times this can be misplaced or positively malign for the effect they will have on others. it is not an impatient energy; but it is implacable – and can of course be unrealistic or inappropriate. Fearless and controlling. Social climbers. Oratorical, obstinate and aggressive. They are full of their own opinions and judgmental

They are blind to their own flaws and in self-denial; they are often creative and talented. And they are noted for getting supported through many friends.

They are orientated towards Moksha or spiirtuality, but in their search for Moksha, they are over-expansive and their overexpansion and opinionated nature can crush or disregard others.

Their Pitta orientation makes them fiery and forceful, inspirational and charismatic.

Their rulership by Venus can so often tend them to pursue illusion and deception, and because this couples with their mental aggression, the resultant mix is unstoppable.

They tend to develop influence, ambitious and fearless, always improving, ambitious to improve their life situation.

They have deep emotions. They are philosophical, confrontational, angry, harsh.

As regards spiritual path, this Nakshatra can be formulaic and implacable, devotional but dogmatic. They can have a deeply philosophical or religious nature, but they do need to strip away their ego otherwise their spiritual path can crush others.

They have an ability to influence the masses.

Purva Ashadha can bring fame, wealth, fertility and wisdom.

They can have flashes of inspiration and insight. There can be phases or purification and regeneration. The meaning of life can suddenly be revealed to them. They need to maintain purity, but often a false purity becomes a supreme and destructive agenda.

Anuradha Nakshatra and a Nakshatra Course

Michael Conneely

Anuradha Nakshatra Number 17 in The Nakshatra System

Anuradha Nakshatra is the 17th Nakshatra in the wonderful, powerful and surely declarative 27-sign Lunar Zodiac of vedic astrology: The Nakshatras.

Anuradha Nakshatra spans 3°20 to 16°40 Vedic Scorpio
Anuradha Nakshatra people are faithful and devoted, but jealous and angry. They combine friendship with aloofness. They are good at putting people at their ease.
Anuradha’s ruler, Saturn, teaches them responsibility and restriction, endurance and facing pain. But Saturn’s rulership of Anuradha combines problematically with Mars’ rulership of Scorpio, and can make them passive, or alternatively erratically passive and rebellious.
These people are revolutionaries. Their original minds are melting pots for diverse knowledge and inspiration. They are very curious, including for foreign lands. They seek dharma and higher truths. They can have qualities of purity and auspiciousness. They can be very goal-orientated, and often align their goals smoothly to the universal plan. Determined, energetic, dominant. They have a strong appetite for life.

Here are some more perspectives into the Anuradha consciousness: These people are often balanced with understanding in  friendships. They can be co-operative, loving, popular, inspiring, successful. They gain respect. They are fond of family life, groups and organisations. They can gain fame through their friendships. They can explore The Universe along with their friendships, communities and associates. They can be good leaders and organisers, very focused, suffering with smile, sharing, sensual, open. Can assume responsibility and get work done. They succeed by any means. They like likes variety and travel. Anuradhas has a low frustration tolerance. They are charismatic, hard-working and brave; usually tactful but secretive.
Actually they are often promiscuous. They can give over-secretion of sexual hormones or irregular menses. They can over-eat and need to watch their diet. Be careful: because Scorpio is a Fixed sign, they can be very controlling.
Occult: They are often psychic and devoted to spiritual pursuits.
Kundalini and Karmas: They frequently have kundalini experiences and can practice kundalini. This results in the nullification of old karmas.
They can be spies.
They can work with numerology and numbers.
They progress through controlled ambition.
But Anuradha’s behaviour can shade into selfish, violent, cruel and vindictive. Thye can be untruthful. Their external behaviour can be deceiving. Sadly, they fail to listen enough to others and to others’ feelings.

If you would like to learn more about Anuradha, and all the other 27 Nakshatras of the Vedic Lunar Zodiac, this is so worthwhile. Vishakha Nakshatra 16 and worldwide Nakshatra Course

Michael Conneely

Vishakha The Vehement Nakshatra 16 and worldwide Nakshatra Course

Vishakha Nakshatra  spans 20°00′ Vedic Libra to 3°20′ Vedic Scorpio. It’s nature is triumphant and vehement, but when the Vishakha Nakshatra person has learned their life lessons, they can become the ethical stalwart who holds together families, groups and situations.

The Nakshatras are the truly wonderful 27-sign Lunar Zodiac of Vedic Astrology that is such a sure declaration as to our emotional nature, our consciousness, our life scripts, our relationships and health astrology.

See my Worldwide Astrology Readings which always include study of your Nakshatras:
www.starwheelastrology.com/buyanastrologyreading
and also my superb worldwide Nakshatras course:
www.nakshatrasadvancedcourse.com

Vishakha Nakshatra planetary Ruler is: Jupiter, who offers purpose and divine guidance
The Ruling Deity or Devata is: Agni, the God of Fire and Indra, the King of Gods and god of War, storms and rainfall. The Divine energy of transformation.
Vishakha’s Symbol is: The Triumphant Arch.
And most appropriately, Vishakha’s Power Animal or Yoni is: The Male Tiger (would you mess with this one???)
The Principal Star is: Az Zubanan – the Claws of Scorpio.

Vishakha Nakshatra – Keywords:

The poisons of past lives can be stored here. They can be aggressive, dictatorial and utterly ruthless. Obsessional, introverted and secretive. Fixation and decisive dedication. Their obsessions can burn them up and harm those dear to them. They are quarrelsome with loads of suppressed anger and hurt, bitterness and resentfulness. They are very easily angered! Their eyes are always fixed on their goal(s). Sometimes the goals are unwholesome. They are insatiable and the grass can always be greener on the other side!
But Vishakhas can slowly grow in influence and at their ideal best self-realisation, they thus ripen. They have to show Patience, persistence and determination. There’s a sense of ploughing and cultivation in their lives.

Favorable: Clever; has respect for intelligent and spiritual people; enterprising; self-satisfied; determined; gets things done; can appear soft but is very powerful underneath; sexually alluring; a good mate in marriage; benefits through marriage, traveling, and through change; mathematical talent. These people can be cultured and with dignity, influential and honest. Vishakhas at their best show good manners and become influential people. They can be religious or spiritual.

Unfavorable: Overly talkative; nice until they get what they want; negative, speaks negatively about others, fault-finding; not open to advice; offensive and not easy to like; greedy, deceitful, aggressive, domineering, quick to take offense, militant, suspicious, possessive, envious; feels obstructed and taken advantage of by others.

Key Guidance: For someone in whose horoscope Vishakha plays an important role, much depends on the goals he sets for himself.  If these objectives are self-centred, he may become unbearable for other people and may head towards the wrong direction.  Vishakha is always totally devoted in order to reach his goals.  He has great courage and ambition. The path suitable to Vishakha is the way of the warrior, like that of Krittika.  The Vishakha has to find out for himself whether his goals actually serve all of humanity or solely his own good.  The outcome of this will determine how this constellation will manifest itself: as a curse or as a blessing.

Swati Nakshatra and worldwide nakshatras course

Michael Conneely

Swati Nakshatra is the 15th Nakshatra in the wonderful, powerful and surely declarative 27-sign Lunar Zodiac of vedic astrology: The Nakshatras.

Swati Nakshatra spans: 6°40′ to 20°00′ of the Vedic sign of Libra in the Vedic Sidereal Zodiac.
Swati is Ruled by Rahu, the North Node of the Moon, but because the constellation falls wholly within Vedic Libra, Venus is also an important energy for Swatis.
Swati is a constellation focused on the blessing (or the curse) of balance: being balanced, yet becoming one’s self. Not easy combination. So, Individuality and True Self are the incarnational goals of Swati.

The shadow side of this Nakshatra is the self-centeredness they can go in for. They are thus both healing and destructive.
Rahu-Venus is a highly indulgent combination! Can like the finer things in life, comfort and luxury.
If you have Sun in Swati, this denotes a big problem for your life. Sun is deeply debilitated in Swati (Sun’s greatest Debilitation degree is: 10 deg Libra), so Sun in Swati denotes difficulties from the father. There is also lack of confidence and codependency, but also nervous reaction and driven independence against that!
Saturn reaches his highest exaltation in Swati. This thus creates a propensity for sowing seeds for the future and long term planning, even though Swati is balanced up with qualities opposed to that. And Saturn can bring much-needed discipline, persistence, strategy and structure to Swati Nakshatra.

Swati Nakshatra Video Below

The Ruling Deity for Swati is: Vayu, The Wind God, also God of the crucial breath of life, prana (Vayu is also the father is the courageous, virtuous, devoted and dutiful Hanuman, also the father of Agni = Fire), but also blowing this way and that! So Swati people can be agitated and destructive. Essentially, air bridges matter and spirit. They are ‘ideas people’: drawn to develop ideas which they can turn into material wealth.

The Symbol for Swati Nakshatra is: the Sword which they cut with both positively and negatively.

The Yoni or power animal for Swati is: the Male Buffalo – an unstoppable hefty but nervy hard-working force of willpower and anger – yes this is Swati energy!

Swati’s Motivation is: Artha (wealth and worldly comfort) – they are motivated to create these qualities.

Swati’s Guna Triplicity: Tamas, Tamas and Sattva

And Swati’s Ayurvedic Dosha is: Kapha

Body Part: Chest (can have breathing issues)

Gana: Divine (Deva – angelic, loving and accommodating)

The Principal Star of Swati constellation is: Arcturus

Swati often ends up living away from birth place, especially with Ascendant (Lagna) in Swati.

Swati Nakshatra Keywords:

They are much more Vata, nervy and sensitive, adventurous and ready to be spooked than people realise, and they are prone to over-running and panic and are restless, dextrous and roaming, so when they reach panic state the full ‘buffalo’ power animal panic and rush is seen. Traditional phrases apply such as the ‘good goer’ and the independent ‘self-blower’ who paradoxically is also delicate and tender. Symbolically, they are ‘a young shoot blown by the wind’ or a ‘new bud bending in the wind’.  Sometimes the Swati wind blows up to Tornado (at which times: run for cover). But there is also a ‘wait and watch’, and awareness that sometimes things need to fall into place (the Saturn influence) and a nervous ‘balancing up’ side to them.

Swati is the central Nakshatra balance with thirteen other nakshatras either side. This means that like Chitra, balance is a central life issue, and, of course, balance can be the curse of balancing up rather than speaking from heart-knowing, and balance can mean terrible loss of self. Thus, they can be arguing procrastinators, even though on the other hand (balance) they can be very open to the New. They are noted for being diplomatic (sometimes irritatingly so) and compromising (a double-edged virtue!) but can be sweet-speaking and compassionate.

They are seen as late bloomers, with the second half of their life more successful than the first.

They are eager to learn, restless, sensitive (fragile), doing business. but they are dedicated to their independence.

Musical, artistic, creative, intuitive and psychic, Swati is related to Saraswati and music and conducive for all sorts of learning whether material, philosophical or Spiritual and their rulership by Rahu makes them ready and eager to learn. The Rahu-Venus combined influence often brings an odd or unorthodox tinge to the artistic taste.

Compassionate, honest, intellectual courteous, Swatis are sympathetic, humane and very flexible (to the point of being accused of ‘low moral’). They have good business and financial skills and are good communicators. They are good ‘persuaders’ and are good at doing deals. They are good learners, knowledgeable, curious and flexible, vulnerable with survival instincts. they are changeable, restless and fickle. Over-indulgence can mar their lives. They can be wealthy. They seldom lose their temper and are fond of company. their mind orientates to division, cutting, flow, movement, swift attitude, an eye on the future,

Each Nakshatra has a special power or Shakti, the power of Swati allows for scattering like the wind. Its heavenly basis emanates for moving in various directions, which results in change of form, through which there is transformation. With Sun so deeply debilitated they are always looking for recognition. There’s a light, airy promiscuous, roaming-free, detached, observant quality which can manifest as bringing in change. Swatis are excellent for scheduling their communication. They are good at learning things, and have good memory and retentive ability.

If you would like to learn more about Swati, and all the other 27 Nakshatras of the Vedic Lunar Zodiac, this is so worthwhile. it offer such understanding of people. it is the key to relationships astrology and health astrology and many other functions in birth chart analysis and prediction.
