Jupiter Turns Direct and Future Life Progression Healing

Michael Conneely

Jupiter turns Direct on 10th July 2018. So how to get the greatest benefit from this is crucial.

But, of course, the information in this blog is of applicable at any time.

While Jupiter was Retrograde in the Heavens, our expansion, our Belief in ourselves, our Purpose and our Hope were all held back. Now Jupiter is more easily able to shed his energy into our life.

And this Post also looks at the great benefits of a Future Life Progression Healing. This Healing is a blessing to have any time, but it came through for me as Jupiter was turning Direct, and so that’s why I am writing about it now.

When Jupiter is manifesting fully in our lives, with Direct motion in the Heavens, we have expansion, purpose, belief in what we are doing, divine blessing and higher learning. And you can get an Astrology Reading or enrol on one of my individually taught courses to go so much deeper into this and more.

And to understand where Jupiter will especially manifest in your life, at the time he is turning Direct, you need to look at where Jupiter is transiting now in your birth chart. Please see this detial and more, below.

And of course, we are helped at this time because there is also a most beautiful Jupiter trine Neptune aspect in the heavens now.

So, lower down in this post, I set out a lot more detail of how to understand your Jupiter or any of your planets, below, but first of all, please watch the video, and then read about Future Life Progression Healing:

MAGGIE BEST JUNE 16FUTURE LIFE PROGRESSION:

I’d like to mention more about Future Life Progression Healing, now, that my wife, Maggie Pashley does. Future Life Progression is a branch of Hypnosis. You are asked to imagine or visualise a couple of scenes of your future life, one after the other, at two suggested dates in the future. You can imagine scenes say 5 yrs. ahead and 10 yrs. ahead. And this can give you such SURPRISING purpose and hope.

Please do note that we can be trapped into pessimistic/helpless life patterns now. This can be because we have unconscious, negative, suffering belief about our Future. And we may be unaware of this.

But Future Life Progression Healing can give us:

Hope
Expansiveness
Direction
Good Strategies

Even when difficult circumstances may be seen, we can learn:

How to understand the meaning.
How to prepare.
How to avert.
What changes may be needed in order to create a different Future for ourself.
Maggie Pashley can be contacted by email shown on her website. www.maggiepashley.com.

MORE ABOUT THE ASTROLOGY OF JUPITER:

Looking now more into the detail of understanding your Jupiter (or any planet), here is a mention of more of the astrological techniques involved, and of course you can have an astrology reading from me, or you can enroll on one of my astrology courses. For the Astrology of July 2018 see our Astrology and Healing Newsletter. And especially see my blog post on the powerful  Longest Eclipse of the 21st Century: The Lunar Eclipse of 27th July 2018.

I use both the western birth chart using Tropical Zodiac, and also the Vedic birth chart which must use Sidereal Zodiac. The thrust of the Western Zodiac is more our psychological unfoldment. Western Astrology is essentially psychodynamic (with special dimensions of Chiron and the Outer Planets and Evolutionary Astrology), whereas the thrust of the Vedic chart is based essentially on the unfoldment of our incarnational Life Purpose and Destiny.

So, for example, if Jupiter is transiting in your 4th House in your Vedic birth chart when he turns Direct, then expansionary work will resume on your home. Whereas if Jupiter is transiting in your 2nd House, then expansionary work will resume in the area of income generation and speech/expression. Whereas if Jupiter occupies your 6th House natally, then you could experience legal issues but also defence against disease.

It’s so helpful, in fact essential, to realize that the planets each have a Divine energy, but that we, ourselves, experience each of our planets through the three filters of Sign, House and Aspect. So, see my video journey: my Meet Jupiter presentation:

and this blog post: https://blog.starwheelastrology.com/jupiter-jupiter-transits-2017-jupiter-uranus-opposition/

Please note that I have one of these videos and blog posts for each of all the Vedic and Western planets.
For each planet I have a video journey to meet the Divine planet and contact and heal how that planet manifests in your birth chart, for students on my courses, as well.

And in fact, if you have an Astrology Reading from me or enrol on one of my Astrology Courses, I can also draw on really sophisticated techniques to weigh up how each planet will manifest in your life, and also how your planets treat each other.

For example, Vedic Astrology assigns strength scores to planets (Digbala) and Dignity scores (how the planet gets on with the plant that rules the sign he occupies in your Vedic Chart).

There’s also Ashtakavarga Score: How supported your consciousness and your life is for each of the twelve signs of your birth chart that a planet transits through.

There are also the wonderful Varga Charts (Divisional Charts) each of which says something so special and powerful about a particular area of your life (you can enroll on my wonderful Varga Course and study each of your Varga or Divisional charts, and learn so much about each special area of your destiny and how to heal and empower it).

And then there’s the Avasthas technique which is within my Foundation Vedic Astrology Course: www.mastervedicastrology.com and here we lean so much from the score for the standing of each planet in our chart and in our life, and also for how the planets treat each other: does one of your planets really boost another of your planets? Or does one of your planets really trash another of your planets?

Lastly, I would mention that Vedic Astrology has a magnificent and powerful declaration of Predictive Periods unfolding at predictable dates in our lives. In fact, these periods, called Dasas, are even more powerful than transits about setting the scene in our lives and predicting events. And so, if Jupiter has good standing in our Vedic birth chart, we will manifest expansion, inspiration, feel wonderful Purpose when we enter Jupiter Dasa. But we’d also need to check if any of our other planets would be harming Jupiter or cutting into him.

And we also need to check if our expansive Jupiter might be difficult to manage, for example, if we have a Weak Sun or a Gandanta Sun. If we have Chiron conjunct Jupiter in our birth chart, the energy of Jupiter that we will manifest risks being particularly glitzy, vulgar or over expansive. Saturn opposition Jupiter can really block our Jupiter expression and lead to unconfidence and self-doubt.

Healing Saboteur Energy & The Huge Astrology & Healing Newsletter July 2018

Michael Conneely

Welcome to our Astrology and Healing Newsletter for July 2018 :
Healing Saboteur Energy and the Huge Astrology of July 2018

In this issue, Maggie Pashley talks about how to heal yourself from saboteur energy that may have been implanted into you, and is continuing to harm you and your life.

And Michael Conneely explains the heavyweight Astrology of July 2018, with the longest eclipse of the 21st Century upcoming on July 27th and a wide range of other difficult energies that need to be heard about, explained, and their potential for healing and empowerment manifested. Michael and Maggie work at their Healing Centre on the West Coast of Ireland near Sligo, and do many reading and healings and teach many courses worldwide on line.

Maggie Pashley now talks about healing yourself from Saboteur Energy:

MAGGIE BEST JUNE 16Dealing with Saboteur Energy

Saboteur Energy is something that stops us being as amazing, as creative and successful as we could be. It can be like driving with the brakes on, or like taking a last minute detour that stops us arriving at our destination.

In other words, it can be something that is ever present in your life so that you don’t go for what you really what, consider yourself too stupid, too old/too young, just plain wrong in some way to make different choices. You may consider yourself unlucky, unworthy, not enough so you rule so much out as being possible for you. You’ve already given up on yourself so you don’t get started going in the direction you want or you go ahead with such resistance that you’ll never get there. That’s what I’d call driving with the brakes on

On the other hand, you may be very enterprising, committed, hardworking and have a clear direction. You may be on the verge of achieving something you’ve wanted for so long and then at the last minute, you do something to make sure you don’t get there. In fact, at an unconscious level, you may be expecting something to go wrong and attract circumstances that prove you right. That’s what I call the last minute detour which takes you completely off track.

In the Body Code work I do with clients saboteur energy often comes up as a block to be cleared energetically. The saboteur energy can be from another person, even from somebody who is not currently in their life, it can also be from an institution or environment which is restrictive or harmful. It is how our bodies are still responding to that external energy and does not mean that the person triggering it intended it to be harmful. I use muscle testing to get an energetic snapshot of how that energy is being perceived by you. For example an over-controlling or domineering parent may give me an image of being tied up, imprisoned, gagged, somebody who has felt very criticised by somebody may have a saboteur energy which could be described as little darts being aimed at them, somebody who is ignored or overlooked may present me with an image of an invisibility cloak etc. An institution may have castrated somebody etc. I often find that the images that present themselves can appear exaggerated as a way of clearly defining the damage they have caused and thus making it easier to clear. Once we have acknowledged the saboteur energy and described it in energy terms we can dissolve its effect on you.

Without that energetic imprinting of saboteur energy, you are free to be more of you, not defined in somebody else’s terms. The effect of saboteur energy is definitely to limit you in some way or to distort your self-expression. For example, if you have been gagged you may decide that your opinion doesn’t count, you may be unsure of what you feel or you may react against that and always want to oppose or be very vocal. Either way, it’s a reaction rather than a true expression of you. Saboteur energy can lead you to conclusions about yourself or about life ‘women are always critical’,’if I show that side of me I’ll be rejected’, ‘love hurts’ etc and you can forget that there’s a whole new world beyond that is available to you.

And then there is self-sabotage. It can be of the constant nagging restrictive type described above as driving with the brakes on or the last minute side track. Where have you decided ‘somebody like me doesn’t/can’t do that?’ that holds you back. What else is possible for you without that belief?  Where have you unconsciously told yourself that it is easier/safer to fail, to play safe that stops you achieving what you could achieve for you?

Often our unconscious mind has decided that there is some risk in succeeding and it is safer to fail or not fully achieve what we are capable of. It might have listened to you saying ‘I never want to stand out if that the kind of attention I get’ in response to being ridiculed as a child and still be running that old programme. It may believe if we have a successful business, people will be critical, envious, rejecting and so on. We can dialogue with our unconscious and ask if it would now be willing to dissolve blocks to our success, creativity and happiness.

Do you have any saboteur energy and what would your life be like without it? If you’d like some extra help then contact me to find out what could work for you: https://maggiepashley.com/

AND HERE IS MICHAEL CONNEELY ON THE HUGE ASTROLOGY OF JULY 2018:

Phew, July really is an action-packed month.

The world won’t be quite the same after July 2018, nor will those of us who have planets in our birth charts which are impacted by the many strong astrological events, energies and features of July 2018.

The biggest of these are the eclipses.

There’s a Solar Eclipse on July 13th 2018

Then there is the Lunar Eclipse of 27th July 2018, which is the longest total lunar eclipse of the 21st century (2001 to 2100).

It’s the longest eclipse for a hundred years, lasting for 1 hour and 43 minutes, and this means its effects will be felt for a long time to come.

Some UK newspapers have reported an ‘end of time’ nature for this Moon. It won’t be that, but its effect in our lives, politics and the earth will be great and long-lasting.

It will be visible across much of Europe and Asia, and in Australia, southern parts of North America, and South America. In UK/Ireland and elsewhere, this Moon will be a ‘blood moon’ where the moon has a red tinge.

Eclipses are ‘wild cards’. Eclipses send a glaring ray of truth onto an area of your life. With Eclipses, something ends and something new begins. But normally speaking, don’t take big hasty decisions immediately in the depth of eclipse time, wait for calmer more mature times before confirming your eclipse decisions or insights.

See the two videos to go with this Astrology July 2018 blog post, then read on for the amazingly detailed and accurate report

July 2018 Astrology Video Part 1:

This continues with:

July 2018 Astrology Video Part 2:

A big eclipse like this 27th July Lunar Eclipse has an earthquake effect. If it interacts strongly with our birth chart, we will experience the eclipse strongly. There will be positive results if we are on course for our true life path, or the eclipse consequences will be negative if our life is off-course for its spiritual meaning. Eclipses deeply polarize and internalise our life issues, and we must face our personal and collective shadows around these issues. If you cling to your false securities and stuck patterns, or resist the call of your evolution now, then these eclipses will leave you at best a robot pursuing a mechanical rump of a non-real life, or your life circumstances will quite possibly disintegrate because you are not living in accord with your truth. So, July 2018 is a month to stand firm in the midst of what might feel like quite a storm, not give way to fear, not go limp, but be truly open to change. Cope with self-doubt and with felt loss of direction. The Lunar Eclipse may propel you to a needed new direction.

There are usually two eclipses in an Eclipse Cycle, but this time we have three! The three July and August eclipses will be huge. But I actually also feel, that July and the present phase should be dedicated to Uranus the Enlightener. In fact, Uranus is caught up with the Eclipses, and with the Mars-Ketu Conjunction, which is another very big feature of energy overload July, and Uranus has only fairly recently entered Vedic Aries – a huge new energy not seen since the run up to the Second World War. Uranus takes 84 years to orbit, remember. So, I feel I personally have much to thank for Uranus’ waves of energy of Inspiration and Revolution now. There is magic and Healing to be found for humanity now – If each of us humans can now learn how to grasp hold of the magic.

And please do remember, that Astrology is here to give us good quality perception of the energies and possibilities coming our way. It must never be formula or slack ‘impulse of the moment’ channelling. For our own good, our guiding astrological declaration needs to be intelligent, inspired and developmental. We are not here to experience these powerful July 2018 astrology energies passively or fatedly.

Guided by good astrological declaration, we are here to ask these sort of questions:
How can I heal?
How can I empower myself?
How can I use these events to burn negative karmas?
How can I use these energies, including the terrible ones, to powerfully and beautifully manifest that very special spark of incarnational destiny that drove my soul to incarnate to achieve here in this particular lifetime?

Note that this report, like all my astrology readings and astrology courses, combines psychodynamic Western astrology (using the Tropical Zodiac) with the Incarnational Life Purpose focused Vedic Astrology (Vedic Astrology  will only give accurate results if you use the Sidereal Zodiac with Lahiri Ayanamsha, or the degrees of difference from western Tropical zodiac).

I combine the nine planets of ancient Vedic Astrology with the newer discoveries whose energies have entered western consciousness over the last two and a half centuries: Uranus, Neptune and Pluto, plus, most necessarily: the Wounded Healer: Chiron.

So, let’s now go into the Astrology of July 2018, it’s main events and energies, and by way of introduction, the main astrological events of July 2018 may be summarised using the sidereal Vedic signs, as follows:
3 July: Mercury Rahu conjunction 12 deg Cancer, Pushyami.
4 July: Venus crosses Gandanta into Magha Nakshatra and transits Leo till 1 August 2018.
10 July: Jupiter turns direct at 19° Libra – Swati Nakshatra.
13 July: Solar Eclipse 26 deg Gemini – Punarvasu Nakshatra.
18 July: Mars conjuncts Ketu, 12° Capricorn, Shravana Nakshatra, second of its three exact conjunctions. Both Retrograde. Conjunct within 1 deg July 12th to 23rd
26 July: Mercury goes retrograde.
27 July: Major Lunar Eclipse. Moon at 10 Capricorn, Sravana Nakshatra.
29   July Sun conjunct Rahu, 11 Cancer, Pushyami

Please note that the Dates and Times for this report are set to Ireland. Check with www.dateandtime.com  for your local variations.

Now, here’s the full July 2018 Astrology in detail:

The Astrology of July 2018:

1.The Eclipses:

The most striking events of July 2018 are the Solar Eclipse of July 13th and the Lunar Eclipse of July 27th. As I said, note that the eclipse season, unusually this year, persists longer with a third eclipse: a solar eclipse on August 11th.

Note that I have covered these three eclipses in more detail, each in its own separate blog and videos, so do have a look at those. The full extent of detail of the astrology of July 2018 is too big to cover in one blog and video.

Major eclipses will tear open to your clear view any discrepancy between your inner self and the outer function self that you have created for yourself in the everyday world. The ideal is to use this time of the run up and actual dates of the July eclipses to identify and meet your Tue self, rather than the self that has been created for you by family, work place, religious upbringing, etc. It is a Pandora’s Box.

So, what is the difference between a Solar and a Lunar Eclipse?

A Solar Eclipse occurs when the Moon is between the Sun and Earth. So, in a Solar Eclipse, the Moon is cutting off the light of the Sun. The Moon is covering the Sun.

A Lunar Eclipse occurs when the Earth stands between the Moon and the Sun.

So, with a Lunar Eclipse, the Earth is cutting off the light of the Sun from the Moon. So, this means that we see the dark disk of the shadow of the Earth crossing the surface of the Moon, and, indeed, that shadow can black out the Moon totally.

Note that Solar Eclipses tend to be more ‘factual’ and they often bring bright new beginnings, whereas Lunar Eclipses tend to be more emotional and catastrophic or tumultuous and they bring about the death of something with the possibility for rebirth.

N.B. You absolutely do need to check how the chart for these eclipses interacts with your own natal chart.
The easiest way to do this is to visit my online Astrology Shop and buy a reading safely and securely from there:  Please visit shop.starwheelastrology.com/

This way, you can understand and prepare for these Eclipse energies that will be entering your consciousness and entering your life. We have to try to deal with Eclipses negative consciousness and life effects, and we most definitely also have to work out their positive divine meaning and embrace that.

There is a separate blog and video for each of the three eclipses of the July/August 2018 eclipse cycle, so my video for this newsletter will leave the fuller detail to the separate Eclipse Videos and Blogs.

Eclipses undam dammed up energy. They are associated with earthquakes and tsunamis. They can bring this sort of energy to the area of life covered by the house(s) they fall in, in your birth chart. And note that it’s even stronger in your mind and your consciousness and the areas of your life if a planet in your birth chart is directly affected by an eclipse, especially a conjunction, opposition or square aspect. It is very important to check out beforehand where any eclipse falls in relation to your own birth chart.

And we actually have to take into account that there’s not just two eclipses right now, but this is actually a three-eclipse season running on into August 11th 2018 It’s a longer window of eclipse energy than usual!

To analyse an Eclipse’s effect on you and your life, first check out your feeling about it, what are your intuitions? Then build on that, to note especially where the Moon of the eclipse falls in your birth chart. After that, note also the Nodal Axis of the eclipse chart, the eclipse Ascendant, and then key planets of the eclipse.

You can get an astrology reading from me if you want very dedicated and caring expert definition and advice: www.starwheelastrology.com/buyanastrologyreading

We feel eclipse energies as they are building. We feel them at the time of the Eclipse. And they last for longer. The effects of lunar eclipse are pretty immediate. The effects of solar eclipse take longer. Note that eclipse’s effects are even stronger when another planet later on transits across the degree area of the earlier eclipse. Eclipses can leave a patch of stagnant energy in the heavens. This will be triggered if another planet subsequently transits through this patch.

Maybe the Eclipse will smash structures in your life that have outlived their usefulness for your destiny, or maybe the Eclipse will smash situations that are wrong for you true life path – painful though this may be both to experience and to understand. And note that maybe these eclipses will offer you opportunities for shared purpose with your loved ones to find their higher spiritual purpose.

1a. New Moon Solar Eclipse on 13.7.18 at 02.48 am.

First of all,, in July 2018, there’s a Solar Eclipse. This Solar Eclipse is at 26 Vedic Gemini using the Sidereal Vedic Zodiac. It’s in Punarvasu Nakshatra (ruled by Jupiter).

In western astrology, it is at 20 deg Cancer using the Tropical zodiac.

Here are the charts:

Vedic Astrology Chart July 2018

Eclipse July 2018 ChartPluto: Really Big Note: Note that that the Sun/Moon of this eclipse are exactly opposition Pluto. So, check if this Eclipse and ‘death and rebirth’ intense power of planet Pluto affect your natal chart or natal planets or a sensitive house. If so, there will be big effects.

With Pluto in such exact opposition to this Solar Eclipse, we are offered profound transformation: challenging or harmonious.

Because this eclipse is in Vedic Gemini, communication skills and information issues in your life could experience breakthrough, and you could cooperate with that trend if you feel it coming your way.

Gemini, and also Punarvasu need to be understood. There is a danger of asking questions rather than wanting answers. Mercury, the ruler of Gemini, is fickle and androgynous and changeable. There’s versatile adaptable glissando. Mercury’s over-questioning can trash needed action and direction. Illogic as well as logic. Our personal standing and power an energy can be squandered if we use its energy for Mercury-style ‘politically correct’ futile FaceBook posts on social and political issues that are really unacknowledged working out of our personal issues, that more properly should be a focus for real healing and empowerment work, or for focus on shocking scandals or conspiracy theories that don’t really lie at the heart of our life issues! This is damaging to you because, magically, its drain to parade and posture and identify with factions, rather than empower. Mercury can really harm our Mars for example.  In fact, crucially, we have to learn to draw on the two hemispheres of our brain.

I am including some personal comment in this newsletter to show briefly how we can start to analyse how an eclipse will affect us personally. So, I note that the Ascendant of this eclipse conjuncts my natal Uranus, and this will enhance the inspirational revolutionary current that has been running in my life and work. And Uranus of this eclipse is conjunct my nodal axis, and I feel a destined revolution running in my work and life, my astrology readings, the expansion of my various courses.

1b. Full Moon Lunar Eclipse 27.7.18 at 20.21 pm.

This Eclipse Full Moon of 27th July 2018 is the longest total lunar eclipse of the 21st century (2001 to 2100), lasting for 1 hour and 43 minutes, and this means its effects will be big and will be felt for a long time to come. Eclipse Sun is 10 Vedic Cancer (Pushyami Nakshatra) – Eclipse Moon 10 Vedic Capricorn (Sravana Nakshatra).

Using the western Tropical zodiac, eclipse Moon and Sun are at 4 deg Aquarius – 4 deg Leo.

Note that the Moon of this eclipse is conjunct the powerful and angry Ketu-Mars conjunction (see below). Eclipse Sun is conjunct Rahu North Node.

Here is the map of this Eclipse’s visibility:

And Here are the charts:

Eclipse July 2018 Vedic Chart 1

Eclipse July 2018 Vedic Chart 2

To assess the effects of an eclipse in your life, you need to study which House in your Vedic birth chart the eclipse occurs in.

So, how does the chart of this eclipse interact with your birth chart?

Well, note that this is the most telling of the three eclipses, and note also that it will be aggressive and even violent energy due to the conjunction of this eclipse Moon with Mars. And note this Mars is exalted in Capricorn, and its made more irritable and frustrated because it is retrograde at the time of this eclipse. And out in the world, with this eclipse being conjunct the Mars-Ketu conjunction (see below for more on that), this eclipse will manifest in violence, volcanic eruptions, forest fires, aggression. However, astrology is not about scaremongering or sensationalism. We need to note its divine meaning in our life.

I can share that Uranus of this eclipse is conjunct my nodal axis and I feel a destined revolution and inspiration running in my work and life and in some ways redirecting it. The astrology readings and courses feel very inspired.

But note that this huge and long-running eclipse will generate pressures, anger, anxiety and frustration. Please see the need to keep calm in the face of this energy.

As this eclipse is in Sravana Nakshatra, check out whether you are ‘failing to listen’ to the real and deep message of what transpires.

And it is so very important and relevant to note that this Eclipse is actually also T-square to Uranus it is T-square to the revolutionary irritable supreme planet of change in your life and consciousness: Uranus.

In analysing the effect of an Eclipse in your chart and in your life, the biggest issue is: where is the eclipsed Moon in relation to your birth chart? But you’d also look at where eclipse Uranus is (as Uranus is T-square the Eclipse axis) and you’d also look where eclipse Nodal axis and Ascendant are, and also check out significant planets in the eclipse chart in relation to your own birth chart.

So, here are some very brief one size fits all ‘standard meanings’: You can calculate the House number from Ascendant (Lagna) or from Moon (Janma) in your Vedic birth chart. Note that calculation from Ascendant tends to give the stronger prediction meaning. Remember, eclipses undam dammed up energies, so whether an eclipse’s effects on you are positive or negative will depend on how well you are on course for your meant destiny in life. It is essential to realize that if you are off course, and eclipse will bring downfall, but of course here we hit the issue of phenomenology, because if your life is off course, then you need collapse of that life-style to have any hope of getting your life on-course again.

Eclipse effect on the Houses of your Vedic birth chart
(It is the sidereal zodiac Vedic birth chart that gives the surest result):

Aries: eclipse in 10th House: Major shakeup in career pending.
Taurus: eclipse in 9th house: shakeup in area of beliefs, guru/teacher, higher learning.
Gemini: eclipse in 8th house: Changes in shared Financial Arrangements, Inheritance, Physical or emotional Vitality, or Metaphysical Studies.
Cancer: eclipse in 7th House: changes in the balance between yourself and spouse.
Leo: eclipse in 6th House: shakeup in areas such as legal issues, handling of enemies, personal health and immunity.
Virgo: eclipse in 5th House: earthquake in relationship with children, or in matters of creativity, or in romance, or in spiritual matters and past life merit.
Libra: Eclipse in 4th House: major change in issues to do with mother or home, domestic patterns, activities and happiness. Some change to do with car.
Scorpio: Eclipse in 3rd House: big change is issues of skills, talents, initiative, writing/communication, siblings.
Sagittarius: 2nd House: big change in income, issues to do with mouth and teeth, your voice, value issues.
Capricorn: 1st House: big shock or empowerment to issues of personal health and presence in the world, personal health, your appearance. Positive transformation of position in the world or Downfall.
Aquarius: 12th House: huge effect on issues of loss, institution issues/connections, residence abroad.
Pisces: eclipse in 11th House: major change/shake-up in issues of gains, profits, goals, ambitions, associates.

Then study Eclipse effects on your natal planets:
You also need to take into special note is the Eclipse falls on one of your natal planets. Essentially, we are talking about the Eclipse Moon falling on one of your natal planets, but we also need to consider other key planets from the eclipse chart and its Nodal axis or Ascendant falling on one of your natal planets.

Here is a simple ‘one size fits all’ meaning for Eclipse impact on one of your natal planets:
Eclipse impact on:

Your Sun brings out your expression of self and decisiveness. It creates a crisis or a leap forwards. It is time to shine, but you may need to let go of your old life in order to eb able to do that. Take action. Do Vision Work and Magical Will work.

Your Moon brings hurt emotional events leading to crisis and vulnerability. Can be rooted in mother or the past. Might involve a move of house or job, of major re-creation of your life to make it reflect your spiritual truth and true self. Life will not be the same again. Your Mother may be affected.

Your Mercury can lead to a mental crisis or important rational insights. There could be a trickster energy. There will be a lot of sorting out of your thinking. This could affect friendships and trade issues.

Your Venus creates major crisis or breakthrough in love. Alternatively issues of your finances, inspiration in art, and indeed motor cars can be affected. There could be a fated new love relationship. There could be strong sexual urges. Clear any blocks to love or ‘heart walls’. Venus is the wife in a man’s chart.

Your Mars creates outbursts and arguments. These can be constructive or destructive. Or there could be a surge of physical vitality.

Your Jupiter could bring expansiveness and sense fo purpose, inspiration and ideals. You need to take care to keep this sort of expansion properly grounded and supported. Jupiter is the husband in a woman’s chart.

Your Saturn means either golden reaping because you are on course for your true life purpose, or it means professional downfall. This will be a he milestone and turning point in your life. You will be forced to acknowledge that you must ‘get out of your prison’, or that you must be more realistic and dot the I’s and cross the t’s in your life and get things more grounded. Ideally this is the opening to take a seasoned step up. You will be tested around your use of responsibility. Suffering will become a huge and important issue for you to handle correctly. You may receive burdens.

Your Uranus means the Struck Tower card in the Tarot. inspiration, more expansive life or consciousness, revolution. Apparent eccentricity. Beware being heartless. Become the wild child, the free spirit, or the original genius. Ride out the creative wave that has picked you up.

Your Neptune means that you could realize that you are enmeshed in delusion or denial. You could find yourself in a fog. But this eclipse calls you to strip out the delusion.

Your Pluto ideally means empowerment. Face your shadow. Confront your inner demons. gain the strength to face your shadow. It could mean trauma, and the need not to be crippled by fear and your energy could become compulsive, driven or obsessive. You will need to develop ways to confront and understand and heal yourself. You face a personal challenge.

Your Chiron: you need to find healing modalities that will assist you to heal the existential wound indicated by your astrology birth chart. In this process you could become the healer of others.

Your natal North Node/Rahu: you will become driven to manifest your incarnational life purpose, but you will ned to purify this energy if you are to arrive at the destination it points to.

Your natal South Node/Ketu: chasms will open under your life, but with divine purpose to transform or end that life so that you are put in touch with spiritual meaning.

Your Ascendant (Lagna): Collapse in personal health and presence in the world, or revolutionary transformation for the better in these.

1c. New Moon Solar Eclipse 11.8.18 at 09.58 am.

And, as I said, there’s a third eclipse upcoming in this present cycle. There’s another Solar eclipse. This one’s on August 11th. I am mentioning this now, because what this means is that the ‘window’ of eclipse activity will be much longer than usual.

The Sun and the Moon of this eclipse are 24 deg Vedic Cancer in Ashlesha Nakshatra.

Sun and Moon are at 18 western Leo.
And note that the Sun and Moon of this eclipse are conjunct Mercy which is Retrograde at this time.
Note that Uranus squares the Nodal Axis and Mars of this eclipse chart.

Here are the charts:

So, sharing my personal analysis here, so that it can be seen how to interpret eclipse effects, note that the Sun, Moon and Mercury of this eclipse are exactly conjunct my natal Pluto! I see this as undamming ‘coming more into my power’ and of course we can do healing and empowerment work of different kinds to assist these processes, and that is one of the fundamental principles of the astrology of my readings and courses.
And Uranus of this eclipse is conjunct my North node in my birth chart which is bringing inspiration and a lot of change.

2.The long-running Mars- Ketu/South Node conjunction:

This huge energy also needs to be understood and managed for your great good. It’s powerful, and it can manifest on many different planes of life: dynamism, inspirational and magical, other planes more technical, and others again that are violent. It can create accidents, loss of property etc.
Will you trail-blaze, or will you dig a hole for yourself? The Mars-Ketu conjunction began when Mars entered Vedic Capricorn on 2nd May 2018, when Ketu was already transiting there. This Mars-Ketu conjunction will remain widely in force until 6th November, when Mars finally leaves Vedic Capricorn and enters Vedic Aquarius on that date.

The Mars-Ketu conjunction is actually exact three times: First, when Mars transits over Ketu direct on June 7th at 13 degrees Vedic Capricorn. Second, when Mars transits over Ketu retrograde on July 20 at 11 degrees Capricorn and Third, when Mars crosses over Ketu direct on September 25th. Note that this Mars Ketu conjunction starts the month of July at 14 deg Vedic Capricorn, or 9 deg western Aquarius.

I would like to make the point that we can understand this energy shafting into our consciousness and our lives at different planes, levels and areas, as is the case with all astrological energies. We will experience it at the human level, also at the social / political level, and also at the wider level, and also of course at our own individual personal level. Let’s now study the meaning and manifestation of this current Mars Ketu conjunction at these four levels:

2a. The Mars Ketu conjunction at the human level:
Mars is assertion, anger, aggression, exercise and activity, leadership. Like Mars, Ketu is a malefic and Ketu can increase the aggression and in some people’s cases: the seething. This can be an energy of hostility and ill-will. Resentment, agitation and criticism. But positively this is an energy for technical skill, and I found that it opens up magical empowerment work possibilities for some people. Ketu can bring up issues from the past at this time.

2b. The Mars Ketu conjunction at the social/political level:
We can look at Turkish politics as a case example: My impression is that Turkey chose a day with dreadful energies for its election, on June 24th 2018, where the minds of citizens would be disturbed and made aggressive by the current Mars-Ketu conjunction. To make emotions more difficult, the Moon had started its transit through Vedic Scorpio, and this has to be understood in the context that, at the moment, there is a succession of three malefic signs in Vedic Astrology that upset the Moon in its monthly travel through the twelve signs, and therefore upset our minds: Vedic Scorpio, where the Moon is Fallen; Vedic Sagittarius which is currently occupied by retrograde Saturn, then Vedic Capricorn, currently occupied by the Mars-Ketu conjunction. People in Turkey distrusted the News and the election result. They found it very difficult to manage their emotions and anger. Supporters of President Erdogan were firing shot guns into the air.
I sadly have not space here to analyse the chart for the election in relation to the birth chart for Turkey, but note that the current Ketu-Mars conjunction generated fear and aggression in the population, given the endemic background fear generated by the slide of Turkey since the 2016 Coup into a Dictatorship dancing to Islamic Syrian / Iranian interests. The populace is also destabilised by the likely fragmentation of the EU, and the Islamic nature of Turkey’s less educated majority, coupled with the inevitable slide of Turkey towards Russia/Syrian/Iran identification.
Rahu is transiting Neptune in Turkey’s 2nd House, at present, which creates monetary illusions of balancing inflation and monetary value given the uncertainty created by US/Russian activities in Syria. And the Turkish currency has suffered much devaluation over that last year and a half. Also, how typical and difficult of Rahu to natal Neptune transit that Turkey should be a nominal member of NATO at the same time prioritise its Russian/Syrian alliance.

2c. The Mars Ketu conjunction at the wider than human level:
That the energy of this conjunction manifest on many planes of life and consciousness, and at the wider than human level.
There have been forest fires and also a rise in the murder rate in Ireland. There have been torrential rains and storms in some arts, and drought in others. There were even forest fires in Ireland on 1st July, and more. The fiery element of this conjunction flares into all areas and manifest in the different levels. For example, as Mars-Ketu conjunction is in Capricorn, this gives technical skill, for example building work. There has been an increase in Volcanic eruptions at the time of this conjunction. Mars entered Capricorn on 3rd May, and on the same day there was a big eruption on Hawaii.

2d. The Mars Ketu conjunction at my personal level: With the inspirational possibilities of Ketu, I have found this conjunction has increased involvement in deep study, magic and breakthrough inspiration flowing. I have created a Magical Will Course. Remember that this conjunction has basically been in Shravana Nakshatra in Vedic Astrology’s wonderful 27-sign Lunar Zodiac. And the nature of Sravana is ‘listening’, and I do believe that this has increased the inspirational nature that this Nakshatra has bursts of. But, fascinatingly, also, at another manifestation of this Mars-Ketu in Capricorn energy, I have been building an extension to our House / Healing Centre / B&B, since the Mars-Ketu conjunction started. Capricorn is about technical skill. And weirdly, the energy of that conjunction even invaded our tiny lane (called a ‘boreen’). Here in the remote Wild Atlantic Way, a mile from the Atlantic Ocean: our tiny lane was unexpectedly singled out to have huge drainage ditches dug and filled with aggregate to drain rain water away into the river at the bottom of our garden, and then the lane was surfaced by juggernauts that turned up. They were bigger than our house. What an astounding manifestation of the Mars – Ketu energy: me building at the back, and the juggernauts ripping the old road surface apart and laying tar. It sounded and looked like a sudden alien invasion of the West of Ireland. See the pics:

2e. Mars Retrograde: Note that Mars is retrograde all July: from June 26th until August 27th and this will increase the aggressiveness and irritation, but also the procrastination and delay, blocks and outbursts. The building work gets held up! You could wallow in frustration and disillusion and catastrophizing. Mars becomes harder for us to express and manage. But the positive response to all this is to develop patience and realism. Calmly decide to ‘bow to the inevitable’ and choose your priorities.

2f. Mercury is opposition the Mars Ketu conjunction exactly around July 3rd to 5th.

2g. Uranus is square the Mars-Ketu conjunction through July. This is really important. The extra impatience will be felt. Revolution will be felt. Inspiration will come in bursts. It’s earthquake energy. And Mars is casting a square aspect on Uranus and Aries too. It’s enormous!

2h. What House of your birth chart does this Mars-Ketu conjunction transit in?

This question of what house in your birth chart the Mars Ketu conjunction occupies, needs to be understood in order to really individualise your analysis of how the Mars Ketu conjunction will manifest in your life. Here’s some stabs at meaning for a couple of examples, the signs where the Ket-Mars conjunction manifests most strongly. You can best calculate the house number by counting from your Ascendant (Lagna), or you can count it from your natal Moon (Janma). Of course, you need to use a more personalised and more deeply considered meaning of the energy, than the following couple of brief examples given here for the purpose of simple indication:

Aries Lagna or Moon: So, for example, for Aries, the Mars Ketu conjunction is in your Capricorn 10th house, so will your career disintegrate or be riven with new inspiration and revolution? Mars rules Aries and he is conjunct Ketu: you might want to melt down your life.
Libra: the Mars-Ketu conjunction is in your 4th House. Will there be nagging and arguing in the home? Will there be good and useful DIY?
Scorpio: The Mars Ketu conjunction could give you incisive focus, but be careful not to become too ruthless.
Capricorn: will be experiencing overwhelm. There’s also the lunar eclipse here which could bring huge change. Take measures to manage your mind and emotions as pressures unfold.

3.The Kal Sarpa Yoga

The Kal Sarpa Yoga re-asserts itself from the middle of the month, from 17th July.
Kal Sarpa Yoga is when all the planets of Vedic Astrology to one side of the nodal axis, and this can usually (but not absolutely always) be a very divisive energy in the world, and in your life.
Here’s the chart:

So again, compare the Kal Sarpa in the heavens now to your own birth chart, to work out the effects.

As I said, the Kal Sarpa Yoga is when all the Vedic planets are conjoining the Nodes of the Moon, or to one side of them only. But I want to say that there’s a special case when the Moon in the heavens is out on its own, outside the bunch of the rest of the Vedic planets to their side of the nodal axis. This occurs in July.

On 30th July the Moon leaves the Vedic planets all bunched to one side of the Nodal axis, so you could say that this ends the Kal Sarpa Yoga. But this would be wrong. Note that this does not end the energy of Kal Sarpa Yoga. What it does do is leave our Minds and consciousness to now have to deal with the energy of an ‘unsupported Moon’ as well as the divisiveness of Kal Sarpa Yoga. To have your Moon alone and unsupported by other planets in the signs to either side of it is a special to be noted problem feature declared by the Vedic birth chart called Kemadruma yoga. This undermines the stability of the mind. So, note that the Kal Sarpa remains in force until 6th November, when Mars, the first planet to break the Nodal cordon, leaves the Nodal axis, and Mars enters Vedic Aquarius on that date.

4.Retrograde Planets Summary July 2018:

There are Seven Retrograde Planets in July 2018. The meaning of some of these are dealt with in more detail below. They are:
Mars and Saturn, Neptune and Pluto, are retrograde all the month of July.
Jupiter is retrograde at the start of the month.
Mercury goes Retrograde under rather turbulent conditions at the end of the month on July 26th. See below.
Chiron turns retrograde on July 5th2018 See below.

5.Mercury Retrograde:

Mercury turns retrograde on July 26th at 29 deg Vedic Cancer.
Mercury is transiting now in the water sign of Cancer, and Mercury in Cancer is not easy for the mind. Intellect and communication can become over emotional and confused.Cancer seeks protection, and Mercury evasions can be dwelt in in an illusory attempt to shelter in unreal and futile ‘protection’. And remember, Mercury is also at this time receiving an opposition aspect from the Ketu-Mars conjunction in Capricorn.
Note that what we have here is Retrograde Mercury in Vedic Cancer opposition Retrograde Mars in Vedic Capricorn. This is a problem combination for IT issues, for posts and communications, and also for misunderstandings and arguments.
Mercury and Mars are enemies in Vedic Astrology. Mars doesn’t have the patience. Mercury over-discusses! Retrograde Mars explodes with anger at its frustration with Mercury. Patience, care and calm is needed at this time! AND note also that Mercury is conjunct driven Rahu!

The Mercury retrograde starts in Ashlesha Nakshatra (ruled by Mercury) and Ashlesha’s deity is ‘Sarpa’ or serpent, and so this will increase the tendency to arguments and hurt and wanting to defeat enemies. The ‘shakti’ of Ashlesha is ‘poison’, or troubled emotions, and so this needs to be handled with accompanying spiritual awareness. And of course, the transition point from Cancer to Leo is Gandanta. (Gandanta is the three zones in the Vedic Sidereal zodiac of up to 4 deg either side of the transition point from water sign to fire sign (Pisces-Aries, Cancer-Leo and Scorpio-Sagittarius, where planets are insubstantial, unconfident and ill-attuned to the material world). So, the fact is that Mercury is in the Gandanta from July 16th to August 3rd, and then again to Sep 1st to the 4th.

And in addition to all that, Mercury is also actually caught up with the eclipsed Sun and Moon on 11th August.

So, during this Mercury Retrograde period, we will ned to take extra special care of posts and communications, deliveries and our IT processes. We will need to take extra special effort to keep our minds and speech calm. Take care to avoid drama. Mercury rules Gemini and Virgo, so Gemini and Virgo people will feel pretty insecure while all this is going on, and will need to take steps to remain grounded.

6. Jupiter turns from Retrograde to Direct:

At the time of Jupiter’s station on 10th July, he is actually within a Grand Cross being opposition Uranus and T-square to the Nodes. Here is the chart for the Jupiter Station Grand Cross:

A Grand Cross is a big energy that fills the chart. Do check out how this Grand Cross relates to the planets in your birth chart. And note that Jupiter will bring his expansionary energy which will magnify the energies in this Grand Cross. Note that as Jupiter gets established in his renewed forward motion after 10th July, growth that has been blocked will free up. The energy will become more positive. But do note also, that Jupiter will be transiting through Swati nakshatra until August 1st, and Swati is ruled by Rahu and prone to scatter and be nervous, so Jupiter’s expansiveness will not be steady. Jupiter finally leaves Vedic Leo on 12th October.

Jupiter trine Neptune: However, it is important to note that a Jupiter Neptune Trine is formed in the heavens at this time, as you can see from the above Jupiter Station chart for July 10th, and the energy of Jupiter trine Neptune is intuitive and compassionate, and this will be in the background for humanity.

 7. The Sun:

Sun moves into Vedic Cancer on 16th July. But the ‘divine king’ energy of the Sun needs to be steadied in our minds, and while Sun is in Vedic Cancer, the Divine King is challenged. This is because he is in the same sign as Retrograde Mercury and also Rahu, and because he receives an opposition from the Mars-Ketu conjunction. He also has to face two eclipses while he is in Cancer: the Lunar Eclipse of 27th July and the Solar Eclipse of 11th August.
So, we will need to monitor if this unsteadiness of the divine Sun is destabilising or weakening us in our lives, and if do we will ned to counteract this.

8.Venus enters Vedic Sign of Leo: Venus will transit Vedic Leo from July 5th to August 1st. The fact is that Venus does not do well in Leo which is ruled by the Sun. the Sun ‘starves’ Venus in Leo. This is because the ambition and show off nature of the Sun detracts from Venus relationship commitments. So, you may need to keep conscious awareness and sharing with your loved one about this energy that is going on.

9.The Venus – Neptune Opposition:

Venus – Neptune opposition in the heavens at the time of this eclipse. This transiting Venus is in opposition my natal Venus, and I have had such visionary beautiful energies during the long run of this Neptune to Venus transit. They are transforming the novel I am currently writing. I am developing earth spirituality courses and sacred Ireland Tours around where I live, and developing a website about all this with a colleague in Chicago who is a musician and artist.

10.The Saturn – Pluto Conjunction:

Remember, Saturn and Pluto now Retrograde are steadily forming into the Saturn Pluto conjunction which will be exact in January 2010 at 27 Vedic Sagittarius. Do be aware if you have planets around, square or opposition that point. It’s a truly implacable held energy. And of course, Ketu joins the Saturn – Pluto conjunction on 7.3.2019.

11.Chiron square Saturn (and Retrograde):

Chiron turns retrograde on July 5th. At this time, he is square to Saturn. Chiron square Saturn points us beyond Saturn’s pragmatism and blocks, to find the healing that we need, to connect to our life-essence, to our True Self.

Astrology and Healing Magazine May 2018

Welcome to the May 2018 fifth Edition of Maggie and Michael’s Astrology and Healing Magazine, brought to you from their Healing Centre on the wild Atlantic way coast of Sligo in the West of Ireland.

This month’s issue covers the Healing modality of Befriending Your Unconscious Mind.

Plus clear and empowering inspirational expression of the Astrology of May 2018, especially:
Key dates to watch the working of your mind
and also
Understanding two key opportunities for developing occult insight and your necessary personal magical Will.

Astrologically speaking, the big theme for May 2018 (and beyond up to November) is:
1. that Mars enters Vedic Capricorn to create a conjunction there with Ketu, which is square Uranus.
2.  Saturn remains transit in Sagittarius.
3.  the Moon always faces challenge affecting the management of our minds, each month, when it goes through the sign of Vedic Scorpio.
So, note that what is created now, until November, is a sequence of three malefic signs for the Moon to pass through each month so as to create a big and palpable three-sign challenge to our management of our Minds. The dates are given below for each month. Note these and be prepared, and don’t be negatively affected.

BUT, above all, this can be a case of ‘out of darkness light’. Note that this can be a huge opportunity for you to use the distress or disempowerment to take two magical empowering steps:
a. You have opportunity and reason to develop Occult Awareness, and
b. This is a crucial chance to identify, develop and use your Magical Will.

There’s a video to go with each section: the healing and the astrology.

First of all, Maggie’s wonderful presentation on Healing:

MAGGIE BEST JUNE 16Maggie’s Healing Modality: Befriending Your Unconscious Mind

All the approaches I use with clients focus on empowering them to be more in touch with their own inner resources and to find solutions and insights that are unique to them and that work for them.

Many years ago, an old trainer of mine said how clients come to us because they are out of rapport with their own unconscious and that my job was to act as a mediator or translator to improve that relationship. That is very different to me making up my mind about that is right for them and imposing my own version of their ideal life on them, or even worst imposing the same preconceived idea of what is right on everybody!!

So, let me give you my understanding of the role of the unconscious mind and how it really deserves to be seen as our friend and ally. Our unconscious mind is that part of us that controls and maintains our body functions, that stores our memories, that helps us access learned skills and habits easily (for good or bad!!), it connects us to the energies around us and gives us information and runs programs that it thinks are keeping us safe. I use the word ‘think’ here because sometimes it needs updating. Programs that kept us safe at the age of 6 may now be ones that restrict us and we may need to negotiate to enlist its cooperation to now give us a different response.

To me, it makes a lot of sense that when there are issues concerning our health and body energetics to work with that part of us that is expert in that area. Equally important is to communicate with it in a way it understands and is clear. For example, wanting to be confident at public speaking whilst focussing on all the times we messed up is giving it very confusing messages. So, understanding that the unconscious does not understand negatives (e.g. I don’t want to panic) and responds to images, we can see that the example I gave would produce images of panic and the resulting body response which is not what is intended. We can create a different strategy to communicate what we actually do want. And if there is some underlying memory that is causing that panicked reaction then the unconscious is the place to go to update that memory, to release the energy and the unwanted conditioned response.

The unconscious is very resourceful and creative and can offer responses beyond what we would have been able to come up with just relying on logic and what we consciously know. The famous American hypnotherapist, Milton Erickson, was known to send some of his patients up the nearby mountain Squaw Peak, with the invitation that they would have reached a different understanding or healed an issue by the time they came back down. And invariably they did.

Years ago, I attended a short Huna (Hawaian Shamanism) workshop and was intrigued that in Huna there are seen to be three selves, or three minds, and it is the Basic Self/Unconscious Mind/Body which is the bridge to higher consciousness. And I had been trying to think my way to higher wisdom and largely ignore my body! It was a wake up call to become more embodied and listen to my body’s signals and hunches much more. I believe, in the society we live in, the intellect is generally valued much more than instinctual wisdom so we aren’t encouraged to dialogue with our unconscious. In fact we may learn to fear it, believing that it is irrational (because it is unique to us and may not conform to what those around us believe or be easily justified with logic) or unreliable or make contain lots of murky memories we would rather avoid. What if it could be our friend and ally and help us to live more creatively and happily?

Looking at the different approaches I use with clients I can see how each modality helps build that better rapport with the UM in its own way:

  • Emotion Cody & Body Code – uses muscle testing to get answers from the unconscious. We sometimes find that blocked energies can go back generations or be related to issues we would not have imagined
  • Hypnotherapy – allows a space of relaxed inner focus where we can access and reframe memories, release energies, rehearse new positive scenarios, send messages to our unconscious of what is important to us right now. We can dialogue with it through body signals and ask it to make inner changes.
  • OldPain2Go® dialogues with our unconscious in a very direct and straightforward way to ask the unconscious to reset old pain messages with often startling responses, such as the removal or significant reduction of pain in the body, including emotional pain
  • EFT Tapping and Psy-Tap connect directly with the body’s energetic system
  • Metamorphic Touch uses a gentle touch on the feet, hands and head on areas relating to the prenatal period and provides a space for us to contact our inner wisdom and unique reason for being here
  • Bodywork and energy work allows the body greater freedom and ease which affects us on all levels

Other ways of getting in touch with that deeper inner wisdom include mindfulness, meditation, music, dance, any form of creativity, myth and storytelling, asking questions that open us to more awareness (e.g. what else is possible?), yoga, channelling, breathwork, walking, daydreaming and more. Find out what works for you. And if you feel like having a guide or interpreter to help you, then do get in touch and I’d be happy to work with you. Visit my website to learn more. And apart from hands-on bodywork all the modalities I use can be done over the internet to wherever you are in the world.

So, now to turn to the Astrology of May 2018:

What are the top news items for May for you to be aware of and deal with?

1. The Big One: Mars enters Vedic sign of Capricorn and joins Ketu, the South Node of the Moon – and this conjunction is squared by Uranus:

Ketu – Mars – Uranus really rock the boat! This creates a big challenge and also a big opportunity:

The Challenge: Read below the Key dates to watch the working of your mind
and also
Understand two key opportunities:
For developing your occult insight and
For developing your needed magical Will.

On May 3rd, Mars enters the Vedic sign of Capricorn, occupying Vedic Capricorn for a record time, until November 5th.

So, in terms of the wonderful Nakshatras, the 27 Lunar Signs of Vedic Astrology, this transit starts with Mars in UttarAshada Nakshatra (Lunar Sign) entering Sravana Nakshatra on 28th May.

Ketu is in Sravana, but enters UttarAshadha on 31st August.

And note that using the Western astrology Tropical Zodiac, this Mars transit is 24 Western Capricorn to 23 Western Aquarius.

And a really big note: Mars will be conjunct the lunar eclipse on July 27th.

The big thing to note is that Mars stays such an exceptionally long time in Vedic Capricorn. This is because he includes a Retrograde whilst in this sign:

Mars turns retrograde on 25th June at 15 deg Vedic Capricorn, turning direct again at 4 Capricorn on  28th August. Usually he’s two months in a sign; this year he’s six months in a sign. And often the energy of Mars is more malefic when he’s Retrograde.

The other very big thing to note is that Mars is Exalted in Vedic Capricorn. So, because Mars is very strong in Vedic Capricorn, you need to note what House Capricorn is in your Vedic Chart, and you assess the effects that you might need to prepare for, plan for, deal with, capitalise upon and also the potential difficulties that you might need to manage in your mind, and in the material world, and also heal. Mars in Capricorn is practical and achievement-orientated.

And the very big thing to note is that Ketu South Node is already there transiting in Vedic Capricorn, and so this means that we have a long-running Mars-Ketu conjunction until November – see below.

Now, Ketu brings inspiration or meltdown; it’s antimatter: mysterious and unpredictable. And Uranus is the planet of radical disruption, liberating change and futuristic innovation and inspiration.

And another twist to this tale, is that when Mars enters Vedic Capricorn, the long-running conjunction of transiting Saturn and Mars in Vedic Sagittarius ends. It’s over at last with all its delays and frustrations.

And the endlessly building transiting Mars-Pluto conjunction at 27 Vedic Sagittarius also ebbs now, and people with temporary irritating Mars issues can now calm down!!!

BUT what energy will the long-running Mars/Ketu South Node bring us until November this year?

It can be quite assertive, even violent, especially in world military affairs. There can be fear, anger and uncertainty.

So, if Vedic Capricorn is your 7th House of Marriage, be prepared to spend extra effort to calm down irritations and confrontation and make special effort to build love.

And remember, Mars activation in Relationships can be problematic, this is the basis of Kuja Dosha in the Vedic Astrology of Love and Marriage.

And if Vedic Capricorn is your 4th House of Home, this is good for technical work in the home. Build that extension!

Mars does best when transiting your 3rd, 6th and 11th signs, and not so good when transiting your 5th, 9th and 12th Houses. But it’s not as simple as that because Vedic Astrology also has a wonderful system of assessing how supported (or otherwise) you and your life will be whenever a planet transits one of the signs in your birth chart: your Ashtakavarga score for each planet for each house. Just one of Vedic Astrology’s many special unique interpretative wonders, which means it takes more than one life-time to study! So do get in touch with me for a reading about your year ahead, and including this Mars-Ketu transit. See: www.starwheelastrology.com/buyanastrologyreading.html

Mars’ transit in Vedic Capricorn will be high-powered, full of energy and creative, full of endurance.

Avoid this being a case of intensity leading to explosion.

You can use your Mars transit to boost the affairs of the House that is Capricorn in your birth chart. So, if it’s your 11th House, use it to make money.

But during his Retrograde period, Mars will not be so active and florid, and you will have to take stock and assess what you have done since May 3rd! And evaluate what steps you need to underpin those areas of your life.

And, believe it or not, and this is big: Mars and Ketu will be square Uranus (transiting at 5 – 8 deg Vedic Aries, in Ashwini Nakshatra, during this period).

What lightning is unleashed! What inspiration!

OR how destructive, combative and impatient!!!

There will be explosive happenings and earthquakes. Ketu magnifies Mars! Uranus electrifies Mars! It’s up to you how you handle it.

You have received this invaluable perception. It can be innovation, zeal and inspiration. You decide!

There will be an energy that will include consciousness changes and metaphysical energies. Cultivate harmony. Use this energy for its electric best. Go for that project!

I myself will be using this time working with an artist and musician working with a theatre in Chicago, Douglas Chamberlin, to create a magnificent website to project the Gods and Goddesses, sacred sites of the ancient Irish round here and the Ogham, the Tree Alphabet of the ancient Irish Druids, the earth energies with presentations and vision journeys about them. The website will be called ‘Returning Corra’, seeking to reinstate a local Goddess of the ancient Irish, whom Saint Patrick overthrew from nearby Croagh Patrick in 432 AD, when he did a forty-day retreat on the summit before setting out to convert the Irish to the Roman Catholic Church.

What followed was their loss of land, sovereignty, language, inspiration and freedom, and even their children. But now is the time to end that.

Topics in the website will include the mystical energy work of the ancient Irish Druids, and how to identify and develop and ethically utilise your Magical Will.

Remember, Ketu is moksha karaka, or ‘salvation indicator’. Ketu can give us vast inspiration, sometimes out of horrible situations and karmas, sometimes in the form of melt-downs or sudden openings, or new portals opening wide in your life. The Mars-Ketu conjunction in Vedic Capricorn is in the birth chart of Soren Kierkegaard, whom I studied as an undergraduate at Oxford: logic fuelled by insight leaps and paradoxes! And I’m forever extending my advanced Vedic Astrology courses material. See:
www.advancedvedicastrologycourse.com/

So, what about the BIG CHALLENGE and the BIG OPPORTUNITY that Mars – Ketu – Uranus bring you?

First of all the big challenge. THE MOON: As you know, the Moon transits through all the 12 signs each month. You do need to know your Moon Ashtakavarga score for each sign to be aware how supported you and your Mind and your life will be as the Moon goes through each sign. Watch out for situations where a sign has a high Ashtakavarga score for you, and the next sign drops to a low Ashtakavarga score. This can really throw you into repetitive mind patterns or pessimism or conflict, etc.
Because of the energies I have described in this May monthly forecast, we will receive such forms of mental turbulence as paranoia, repetitive thinking, depression, anxiety, fear and conflicts, from the Moon, for seven days out of every (lunar) month from May to October, as Moon transits monthly through the currently very challenging differ energies of the three signs of Vedic Scorpio (ruled by Mars), Vedic Sagittarius (occupied by transiting Saturn) and Vedic Capricorn (occupied by transiting Mars-Ketu). If we have low or irregular Ashtakavarga scores in these three signs, the mental upset will be worse.

To make it even more difficult, the Moon will have to pass through the difficult Gandanta Zone accurately defined in your birth chart by the transition point from the first to the second of these three signs, from Vedic Scorpio to Vedic Sagittarius.

Please do be aware of the most dangerous dates each month from May to November:

May 1st to 6th and 28th to 31st.
May 28th when there’s the Full Moon in Vedic Scorpio.
June 1st to 3rd.
June 24th to 30th.
July 21th to 27th.
August 18th to 23rd.
September 14th to 20th.
October 11th to 18th.

And now the BIG OPPORTUNITIES, if you can make the effort to grasp them:

#1 Mars-Ketu Conjunction can open Occult awareness, especially as it’s aspected by Uranus, especially as the Moon’s transit towards it each month includes passage through Vedic Scorpio. People are often afraid of occult awareness, but when ethical and properly understood, it is the seed for our transformation, for us becoming the person we were born to become. It includes openness to energies and vision.

#2 This is a well-starred time to learn to develop your Magical Will. The difficulties for your Mind and life of Moon passing through the turmoil of Scorpio, the pessimism of Saturn, and then the wired ‘anti-matter’ of Mars-Ketu-Uranus can impel you to develop and learn to utilise your magical will. Vedic remedies and mantra are valuable, but they are more often ‘management’ than empowering and they can be robotic. Defining the needed goal for your magical will is the needed first step to charting your way forward to become your destiny. It includes visualising the goal. There are a number of deeply ancient ways or reifying the goal and creating a firm constant impetus of manifestation. When the Moon passes through these three signs every month, and because of the energy of Mars-Ketu-Uranus, the resto f 2018 is actually a magical opportunity of the greatest importance, if you can grasp it. As I said, Topics upcoming in my courses will include the mystical energy work of the ancient Irish Druids, and how to identify and develop and ethically utilise your Magical Will.

2. Saturn is Retrograde during May 2018:

Saturn is, of course, the ruler of Vedic Capricorn, the sign where the transiting Mars-Ketu conjunction described above is occurring, and so this brings us to look at the effect of Saturn through the month of May 2018. Saturn is Retrograde.

Saturn is Retrograde from April 17th to  September 6th.

Saturn has been in Vedic Sagittarius from October 2017 and Saturn will remain in that sign until January 2020.

Saturn commences the month of May 2018 at 14 deg Vedic Sagittarius, in PurvAshada Nakshatra, retrograding into Mula Nakshatra on June 5th at 13 deg Vedic Sagittarius.

Saturn turns Direct at 8 deg Vedic Sagittarius, in Mula Nakshatra, and finally returns to Purva Ashadha Nakshatra on 27th November.

Th Saturn retrograde effect and energy is so different from the Mars-Ketu energy. The aim is to be patient and diligent to manifest the inspiration. We may well feel frustration!

3. Jupiter is Retrograde all month:

Jupiter retrogrades from 25 to 21 degrees Libra through May. This is the call to earth and ground our expansionary plans.

  1. The Nodes of the Moon:Rahu retrograded into Pushyami Nakshatra on 27th April, starting May at 16 deg Vedic Cancer, and ending May at 14 deg Vedic Cancer.
  2. Venus entered Taurus on April 20th bringing pleasure, sexual energy, art and socialising, starting the month of May at 14 deg Vedic Taurus. In fact, Venus is sexual and strong in Rohini Nakshatra from April 28th until May 8th.
Venus enters Vedic Gemini on 15th May, and ending the month at 21 deg Vedic Gemini.6. Mercury starts the month at 20 deg Vedic Pisces, moves into Vedic Aries from May 9th to 27th, then enters Vedic Taurus and reaches 11 deg Vedic  Taurus by the end of the month.Note that when Mercury is in Vedic Taurus and Venus is in Vedic Gemini, this creates an ‘exchange of signs’ called ‘parivartana yoga’, when both planets should express themselves well, creatively and fluently, lasting until June 8th, when Venus enters Vedic Cancer. Now is the time to write those songs!

    7. Chiron is in western Aries:
A very special event occurred on April 12th. Chiron enters Western Aries (Vedic 6 Pisces). Chiron is in Aries for the first time since it was discovered in 1977! Chiron actually retrogrades back into Western Pisces in September.

Please do a conscious survey and ask yourself these questions and make a note of the answers:

  1. Are the needs you are striving for your actual valid needs?
  2. You need a healthy ego so that you can do the work you incarnated to do in this lifetime. Is your ego healthy?
  3. Do you need to reorder your self?
  4. How are you dealing with the challenges of your wounds?
  5. Please embrace the Chiron in Aries energy to recognise what wound(s) you have to the way you assert yourself in the world! What are you doing to make them a thing of your past???8. Neptune starts the month at 21 deg Vedic Aquarius, and ends May at 22 Aquarius, in PurvaBhadra Nakshatra.9. Pluto is Retrograde from 22nd April to September 30th. Note this is the same time as Saturn is Retrograde, and note that a Saturn-Pluto conjunction is implacably building to be exact: see the chart for this moment on my website page: https://www.starwheelastrology.com/2018-astrology.html

10.The May 2018 Lunations:

The New Moon is May 15th at 11.48 a.m. at zero deg Vedic Taurus, in Krittika Nakshatra. Try to have a more restful day.

The Full Moon is May 29th at 14.19 p.m. at 14 deg Vedic Scorpio, in Anuradha Nakshatra.
Moon is debilitated. Don’t let the intensity take over your mind or actions. Check out your Moon Ashtakavarga score for how supported you, your life and your mind are when Moon is in Vedic Scorpio.
(These are the dates/times in Sligo Ireland)

11. Sun moves through Vedic Taurus from May 14 – June 15. Krittika Nakshatra has the last three of its four padas in Taurus, and Krittika is ruled by the Sun, so this could be quite a strong, settled energy.

12. Here’s the May 2018 Summary:

May 3rd: Mars enters Capricorn, exalted, Uttara Ashadha Nakshatra (until Nov. 5th, 2018)

May 9th:  Mercury goes out of debilitation in Pisces/Revati and enters Aries, Ashwini (remaining in Ashwini until May 27th, 2018)

May 14th Venus enters Gemini, Mrigashira (until June 9, 2018)

May 15th Sun enters Taurus, Krittika (until June 15, 2018)

May 15th New Moon, Taurus, Krittika

May 27th Mercury enters Taurus, Krittika, 8.13am (until June 10, 2018)

May 29th Full Moon, 14 Scorpio Anuradha, where Moon is debilitated in Scorpio.

IMPORTANT FOOTNOTE:

To conclude, let’s take a look at a useful retrospective question about last month:  What is Mercury’s Greatest degree of Debilitation?

On 26th April, Mercury was at his point of deepest debilitation at 15 deg Vedic Pisces, and I myself experienced all sorts of weird irregularities in postage and communications. Actually, there’s big food for thought in the issues raised:

Just for one example: a letter arriving to replace a lost letter posted in early March, AND the lost original letter also arrived on this day. For another example, receiving an email asking me to offer a Journey at one of the Irish sacred sites around here, and the email omitting the month of the tour visit. And if you want a third and fourth example (but there are more): well, our internet malfunctioning and giving a sixty hour upload time of a video to YouTube, and then being rejected for breach of copyright because someone was playing ‘into the Mystic’ in the background’! And also the Bank of Ireland website proved impossible to sign into.

BUT, remember, that although Mercury is problematic when at his degree and sign of Debilitation, the sign of Pisces is also inspirational, and I had great inspiration come through.

A first example was contacting healing energies in the rocks in a couple of the more remote sacred sites where I do tours, healing energies that I think were amplified by the megalithic builders, and have survived because these particular sites are not much visited.

A second example, was reading a book about the use of Will to deal with difficult states of mind due to difficult destiny as depicted by astrology natal chart and transits. The list is long and to be grateful for.

I’m mentioning this issue of the Debilitation degree of Mercury in inspirational Pisces, because I have been in contact with other people who similarly had logistical and communication and planning tensions and problems on and around this day of Mercury’s greatest Debilitation. But also special inspiration.

And there’s also a special and important twist to this tale. The point is that the declaration that Mercury is most Debilitated at this degree, only works if you use the ancient Sidereal zodiac of Vedic Astrology to provide this invaluable definition.

If you try to use the western Tropical Zodiac to apply the vast insights and declarations of Vedic Astrology, Mercury is stated to be debilitated at a wrong degree and date.

In fact, what drew me to Vedic Astrology in the first place, 25 years ago, is the concept of Gandanta Degrees: that the degrees either side of the transition from Water Sign to Fire Sign using the Vedic sidereal zodiac are particularly problematic, immaterial and insubstantial (though can provide difficult but potentially immense inspiration), and of course if you try to use the western Tropical Zodiac, your definition of this utterly invaluable insight is denied.

It’s very important to note that if you do have a planet in a gandanta zone. It is so essential to know, understand and heal. This is because you will have real problems in expressing the nature and energy of that planet, and the closer your planet is the transition point from water to fire (Vedic Sidereal Zodiac Pisces to Aries, Cancer to Leo, or Scorpio to Sagittarius), then the stronger and the vaster will be the challenges you will have to face will be. You do need to know and understand and heal. The inherent inspiration can be harvested.

Astrology and Healing Magazine April 2018

Michael Conneely

Welcome to the April 2018 fourth Edition of Maggie and Michael’s Astrology and Healing Magazine, brought to you from their Healing Centre on the
wild Atlantic way coast of Sligo in the West of Ireland.

And this month’s issue covers the impressive Healing modality of EFT or Emotional Freedom Technique

Plus clear and empowering inspirational expression of the Astrology of April 2018, valuably embracing both Western and Vedic Astrology! And asking you key questions that are raised about your life.

MAGGIE BEST JUNE 16Tap your way to a happier you.

This month I’m going to talk about how Emotional Freedom Techniques can help you improve your life.
I first came across the idea of tapping on meridian energy points way back in 2001 and as a trained shiatsu practitioner, I was both intrigued and also pretty cynical as to how this simpler approach would work.  I initially dismissed it as another fad which would at best yield only temporary or superficial results.

Yet EFT kept grabbing my attention and within the year I had trained in Emotional Freedom Techniques and was surprisingly impressed by the responses I was getting with clients. So impressed in fact, that I became and EFT Trainer and helped others get those wonderful and, often surprising, releases from all sorts of conditions, even difficult long-standing ones. Sure it does look a bit weird, or did so at the time when it was less well-known, but when something works, where nothing else has so far, it certainly grabs your attention. I was happy to update my opinion of this new way of working if it could help people feel better.

Some of my early successes were helping a client improve his walking and be able to play with his child again, have a long-standing back pain disappear, resolve trauma and phobias, help prepare a client for IVF, dissolve interview nerves and increase confidence, overcome fear of flying and on and on. The best thing about it too is it gave my clients a way of continuing to manage the on-going stress situations which occur in daily modern life. It is something that can be done face to face or over the internet or phone.

First of all you are invited to bring into awareness the issue or problem you wish to overcome – calling a spade a spade, rather than trying to rationalise it or cut off from it. We give the intensity of how that issue is affecting us a number on a scale of 0-10. The second part is tapping on a series of points on the face and head and sometimes on the hands while we say words which sum up the issue. The words are simply there to hold the focus on whatever it is we wish to address, it is the tapping on the meridian points that does the balancing of our energy. We then compare how you feel now. Has that initial number changed? Do we tap again in a similar way or has the focus changed. Often tapping can help you be aware of what is really going on and help clarify actions to take. It can release the charge of an old traumatic incident so it simply becomes a memory, rather than something that haunts you.

And having released the stuff holding you back it can also be used to help adopt new responses more easily, build confidence and facilitate learning. It can be used to help children with the various emotional challenges encountered during their growing years. In that way it can be a great way for parents to support their children and to also help them cope better with the pressures of a busy family life.

Research has been done over the years which show that tapping helps reduce the stress response. It has increasingly being taken up by therapists, educators, some doctors and even the health service.

You can find more information on my website maggiepashley.com/eft-tapping or drop me an email to find out how it could help you, your family or even your pets.

The Astrology of April 2018, from Michael Conneely:

The energies of the planets are presented in both the Sidereal Zodiac of Vedic Astrology (which has a destiny unfoldment focus) and also using the Tropical Zodiac of Western Astrology, which is focussed on our psychological unfoldment.

You can see the charts for the start and the end of the month, also lunations and eclipses, by going to Michael’s Starwheel Astrology website: www.starwheelastrology.com/2018-astrology.html

What are the top news items for you to be aware of and deal with?

Here is the powerful ‘Top Twelve’ summary, and it’s followed by a very useful Table of the planets’ positions in both Vedic and Western Astrology below that:

1. The Saturn Mars Conjunction
Saturn and Mars start April in exact conjunction at 14 Vedic Sagittarius (PurvAshada Nakshatra), this is 8 Western Capricorn. And the two planets stay in conjunction all month.
This is good for technical work and DIY but it’s tough when Mars pitts himself against Saturn’s structures, patience and blocks, or when Saturn puts the lid on Mars leading to disastrous explosions of swearing impatience!
The energy of Mars-Saturn conjunction is bumpy and antagonistic. Positively, you might break out of the concrete prison you erected for you life, and free up your force of expression. Hopefully knowing this astrology will allow you to see the danger signs, and plan to manage your energy level.
You could enter April with big ideas, but be prepared to modify them, integrate them with other things in your life, and ‘go with the flow’. Channel your Mars power carefully and direct it with good ethical conscious awareness.
Mars is exalted in Vedic Capricorn from May to November! Cultivate courage.
If you have been feeling overwhelmed, let things balance out. Prioritise. Be guided by your intuition and inspiration. And as a very special issue to watch: Mars and Ketu are both in Capricorn from May 2nd to November 5th. See next month’s magazine on what this means and how to handle it.

2. The Sun enters Vedic Aries on 14th April, crossing the immaterial and unconfident (but inspirational) Vedic Pisces-Aries Gandanta Zone for four days either side of that date. The Sun is exalted in Aries (Adolf Hitler had his Sun there), and Mars is strong, so this can hold a useful guide picture of energy up to you.
Develop your individual expression. Embrace who you are. Sun is square Pluto on April 10th. This can open a portal for you to come to grips with your life direction and embrace deep change.

3. The Sun is conjunct Uranus in the heavens on 19th April. Anticipate unexpected events, impulses and inspirations. Will this be a matter of explosions of impatience or inspired revolutionary breakthrough in your case? Try to use this inspirational time to consciously take stock! To identify the habitual negative expectations of your life. Try to imagine instead how you can live connected to your wellspring of inspiration- driven confidence. Maggie’s ‘Access Consciousness’ healing and empowerment work is very good for this. See:
maggiepashley.com/breakthrough-sessions worldwide on-line via Zoom
maggiepashley.com/access-body-processes hands on work in Ireland

4. The Moon is conjunct Ketu in the heavens on 10th April at 17 Vedic Capricorn. This is not good for confidence or sound health.

5. Mars conjuncts Pluto exact on 26th April at 27 Vedic Sagittarius (21 western Capricorn). Be careful not to wield force implacably! Beware of darkness rising with violence.

6. Mercury is Retrograde from 1st to 14th April, and does not regain his pre-retrogradation position until the end of April. If Mercury has problematic stats in your Vedic Birth Chart, expect problems in IT, filing, posts and communications, and do your best to stay calm (somehow) and deal with them methodically and in a friendly way.
Mercury is square Mars on April 4th to 5th: avoid angry words.
Saturn is square Mercury on April 5th: consciously avoid blocks or pessimism or over-focus in the Mercury areas of life.
Mercury is in Vedic Pisces, so this does in truth lead to confused mental and communication issues, but can be inspirational.
Mercury Retrograde periods are actually good if you take note of the glitches, review your programs, and make good realistic decisions for how to manage your priorities.
The Mars-Saturn conjunction will force you to be pragmatic and respond to Mercury Retrograde glitches. Determine where you are going with your projects.

7. Saturn is Retrograde from April 17th to  September 6th. Saturn is in Sagittarius from October 2017 to January 2020. And within that Saturn and Mars are now in PurvAshada.
If you have Sun there, you could experience golden reaping (or professional downfall if you are off course in your life, or weak).
If you have Moon there, this is the centre of your Sade Sate: the difficult and separative, often depressed seven and a half period where Saturn transits through the Vedic sign before your natal Moon, the Vedic sign of your natal Moon and the sign after that. Note that a Nakshatra defined sequence for Sade Sate gives better definition than sign based definition.
Saturn actually retrogrades from 16 to 9 deg Sagittarius in 2018, so traversing from PurvaAshada back into Mula Nakshatras.
With Saturn transiting Sagittarius, note that you will need to honour and balance principles of both Jupiter expansion and Saturn contraction and consolidation.
With Saturn being retrograde, this is a wonderful chance to understand yourself better. Ask yourself these Retrograde Saturn questions:
a. Do I do too much under the influence of impulse and excitement?
b. Do I recognise my bedrock motivations?
c. And this is a big one: Do I draw back out of what would be good for me and my loved ones out of blocks and FEAR???
d. Does bedrock sense that you are a loser and a failure hold you back???
e. Develop awareness of the consequences of your decisions through your life.

8. Pluto is Retrograde from 22nd April to September 30th. Note this is the same time as Saturn is Retrograde, and note that a Saturn-Pluto conjunction is implacably building to be exact: see the chart for this moment on my website page: www.starwheelastrology.com/2018-astrology.html

9. Jupiter is Retrograde all month: this is the time to consolidate and bring into form your inspirations and ideas of the previous month or to.
Dot the Is. Cross the Ts.
Create sound structures and procedures. Apply diligence and discipline and your expansionary projects will FLOWER  and SUCCEED!

10. Rahu is in Ashlesha Nakshatra until 27th April when he retrogrades into Pushyami Nakshatra. Ashlesh is difficult serpent energy. Rahu can be driven, over-expansionary and toxic. Ashelsha is ruled by Mercury and its last four degrees are Gandanta. Seek to find the INSPIRATION offered at this time. Avoid the Mercury over-discussion and criticism. Avoid the Rahu darkness and over-ambition. Notice if you feel pray to psychological imbalance. Transmute the poison. Embrace vision and energy work. What with the breakthrough of Uranus entering Vedic Aries/Ashwini this year, and the earlier eclipse in Ashlesha, 2018 can be a most wonderful year for INSPIRATION. By Vedic Sign, Rahu is transiting Cancer at this time. Issues of mothering arise in our lives, emotional breakthrough and healing and empowerment from this.

11. Venus enters Taurus on April 20th bringing pleasure and art and socialising.

12. Chiron enters Aries: A very special event occurs on April 12th. Chiron enters Western Aries (Vedic 6 Pisces). Chiron is in Aries for the first time since it was discovered in 1977! Chiron actually retrogrades back into Western Pisces in September.
Please do a conscious survey and ask yourself these questions and make a note of the answers:
a. Are the needs you are striving for your actual valid needs?
b. You need a healthy ego so that you can do the work you incarnated to do in this lifetime. Is your ego healthy?
c. Do you need to reorder your self?
d. How are you dealing with the challenges of your wounds?
Please embrace the Chiron in Aries energy to recognise what wound(s) you have to the way you assert yourself in the world! What are you doing to make them a thing of your past??

Astrology and Healing Newsletter March 2018

Michael Conneely

Astrology and Healing Newsletter March 2018 from
Maggie Pashley and Michael Conneely

Here’s the March 2018 issue of Maggie Pashley and Michael Conneely’s ‘Astrology and Healing Magazine’. The Astrology of March 2018 and Healing Old Pain: Old Pain to Go.

It’s brought to you on the first weekend of every month, from their Healing Centre on the beautiful Atlantic Coast of Sligo in the West of Ireland.

As always, there’s a presentation from Maggie’s vast range of Healing Techniques offered both in our Centre and also Worldwide. And Michael offers a helpful description of the astrology of each month in both Western and Vedic Astrology, and how to handle these energies.

MAGGIE BEST JUNE 16First of all, Maggie talks about helping people become pain-free with OldPain2Go®.

This month I’d like to introduce a new technique that I’ve recently learned and have been getting some amazing results with clients using it. It is called OldPain2Go® and in a session I help people dialogue with their unconscious (actually much easier than you think!) to release long-standing pain.

OldPain2Go is the brainchild of Steven Blake who developed it over a period of seven years and still continues to refine it. I was fortunate to train with Steven himself and experience first hand how effective and versatile this approach is and benefit from Steven’s insights and years of experience.

Pain has a purpose of course. It grabs our attention and tells us something isn’t right and we may need to take some action. For example, you might have a fall, have a momentary feeling of pain or discomfort and be able to carry on or it may be a much higher intensity of pain and you may need to rest, see a doctor or even go to hospital. However, once we have taken the required action the body can generally heal itself.

It is when pain lingers on and in a way serves no purpose – we already know we have vulnerability in an area, or arthritis or an old injury – that it becomes a problem. The pain can often wreak havoc with our life, restricting our activities, affecting our mood, and generally our ability to enjoy life. It can also affect our friends and family as they watch us coping with pain. And of course it is not easy to run around and play with our children when we are in agony.

Those pain messages are like old answerphone messages telling us we have a back problem over and over again and we already know that. Those old pain messages can also be so loud that they make it harder for us to be alerted to any new pain messages that we need to pay attention to. What if we could delete those pain messages like old answerphone messages? That is what we aim to do with OldPain2Go® and many people can testify to its effectiveness. Watch the wide range of testimonials on Steven’s site.

So what happens to the underlying condition. Well we aren’t dealing with that we are dealing with the old pain messages but as we release that old pain and along with it tension and inflammation, blood circulation improves and the release of tension can allow our body much greater freedom to re-balance. If you are having medical treatment, of course, you need to continue to work with your doctor or specialist. You may need to pay attention to your body’s signals asking you to slow down, or stretch or move in a particular way. You can generally feel more active and able to enjoy being out of pain.

With the people I have worked with all of them except one had their pain go down to zero and the remaining one had a significant reduction in pain levels. It is certainly better than taking pain-killers which often aren’t completely effective and come with side-effects.

So you might ask: if I don’t have the pain won’t I be at risk of forgetting I have ……(fill in the blank for whatever condition applies). Well no, either than condition may improve along with removing the pain and indeed it often does, or your body will alert you with new pain if there is something you need to be aware of. More importantly, you’ll hear the new pain messages better as they won’t be drowned out by the old messages.

So if you have chronic pain which affects the quality of your life, or if you know somebody who has and is open to a new approach, check out the videos below – my website or Steven Blake’s website and get in touch.  I offer face to face sessions in Co Sligo and on-line sessions via zoom or skype worldwide?

In the video below you can watch me talk about OldPain2Go® and the video below that is a video of a client’s reaction to a having a session dealing with an old standing back pain issue

My video:

Nikki’s video:

An added bonus to OldPain2Go® is it helps you dialogue with your own unconscious which can be useful for all sorts of things relating to your body.

Remember, Western astrology uses the Tropical Zodiac and is a psychological depiction, whereas Vedic Astrology uses the Sidereal Zodiac and is an Incarnational Life Purpose and Destiny depiction. The difference between the two zodiacs is currently 24 degrees.
Salute to the great power of Uranus Energy:

Uranus continues his slow inexorable, wired and ultimately ferocious passage forward through early Vedic Aries, through Ashwini Nakshatra.
And I am hearing of so many people with natal planets there in early Vedic Aries who are now feeling such fiery flux of new inspiration, change and innovation, and who are bringing into being such a current of revolution in their lives and consciousness.
And also, I am hearing similar from those who have natal planets opposite there, in early Vedic Libra.
And there’s the square aspect from Uranus too: I know of young people whose lives have been revolutionised following experience of this Uranus transit being square their natal Uranus: restraining situations ditched; horizons transcended, new vistas secured!
Yes, often there can be outbursts and irritable words, frustration storms. And also, sometimes circumstances force people the hard way, on to the path to the fulfilment of their destiny needs.
But once (and if) they recognise, and give form and strategy to, the new current of inspiration and revolution, then their lives get so much more purposeful, and so much more fulfilling and beautiful and happy.
Often, childhood issues and bodily-held blocks rise now to be recognised and healed so that we can go forward in this vanguard of the great Uranus progress.
Often, relationships will heal and grow because of the liberation energy that Uranus now offers to people in early Vedic Aries/Vedic Libra, or square to that.
I know quite a few people with planets in Ashwini Nakshatra in early Vedic Aries, who are newly embracing their potential for healing powers and techniques as Uranus transits through Ashwini, or exiting Ashwini Healers who are adding new extensions to their healing repertoires. The ruling deities of Ashwini are the Ashwini Kumaras, who are the divine physicians. I think a lot of the impetus to heal is because Ashwini is the first Nakshatras after the Pisces/Aries Gandanta, and I think a planet rising out of the immaterial, unconfident Gandanta is driven to find inspiration and meaning, and driven by panic, indeed, to HEAL.
And I would note that this inspiration and healing ability I mention is so much more creative, fulfilling and inspiring than over-reliance on Mantra or traditional remedies, which in my observation, can imprison, be over-formulaic, or create rigidity. Mantra has it definite healing place but should not be used in an imprisoning way.

Salute to the oceanic force of Neptune’s Energy:

Neptune continues at 19 Vedic Aquarius (13 western Pisces) in Shatabishak Nakshatra. Neptune is so powerful, and he can be devastating. So often he can be associated with illusion, deceptiveness, material loss, physical weakening issues, and indeed alcohol misuse. But his positive power is the ocean current of vision. I am seeing people experiencing conjunction or opposition from this transiting Neptune, who are healing their lives through experience of vision, increased sensitivity, increased intuition, even clairaudience and clairvision. Neptune transits Venus:
I myself have this Neptune transiting opposition my natal Venus, and I am well into filming an online Tarot course, AND we are creating an Irish Gods and Goddesses Tarot Pack!!!
With a colleague in Chicago, a deeply spiritual musician, artist and theatre producer, we are creating video montages with music and voice presentation for the Gods and the Goddess of the ancient Irish, for the Ogham and the Runes: the sacred alphabets of the ancient Irish and Norse peoples (courses for which I’ve taught for 25 years), for the ancient Sacred Sites of Ireland which abound round here, and to present the mystical energy work of the ancient Irish Druids, plus promos for my earth spirituality novels: Rune Magic, Sacred Earth, Druid and The Tribe… AND I am inspired and progressing fast, my writing of my novel about the Gods and Goddess of the ancient Irish,
and there’s so much more…. ….

Jupiter turns retrograde from 8th March to 11th July 2018.

Jupiter will have reached 29 deg Vedic Sidereal Libra, that’s 23 western Tropical Scorpio, on March 8th when he turns retrograde.
Jupiter remains Retrograde until 11th July at 20 Vedic Libra.
Check out which House Libra is, in your Vedic birth chart, to see the accurate prediction of what area of your life Jupiter will have been showing his blessings and expansion in since he entered Vedic Libra in September 2017.
For maximum blessings in this life area, you do of course need to check the standing of Jupiter in your birth chart (and in all your Divisional or Vedic Varga charts), and you also need to check out the number of Ashtakavarga points given to Jupiter by the sign Libra.
And also of course you also need to identify what planets you have in Vedic Libra, each of which Jupiter will activate by transit at this time.
And please do note that, in fact, the Dasha or predictive period you are in, in Vedic astrology, is in fact is the bigger governor of how powerful any transit will be in your life.
Note that planets in your birth chart and in your transits only perform at their very fullest if you are in the Dasa of that planet.
So, this means that if you are in Jupiter Dasa, now, then this transit of Jupiter through Libra will be at fullest power, and Jupiter will probably be at his very best.
However, to predict and understand the effect of this Jupiter transit, you do also need to take into your account the standing of Jupiter in your birth chart for how well your Jupiter dasha will feature, and also take into account how Jupiter treats your other planets and how your other planets treat Jupiter.
I like using Lajjitaadi Avasthas table for this assessment, and the table in kala software is very good for assessing planet’s standing and inter-relationships in your birth chart.
I have been blessed by this Jupiter transit, in that Libra is my 4th House, and we moved to a new house to a most lovely remote spot on the Atlantic coast of Sligo, almost to the day when Jupiter entered Libra, AND, I am in Jupiter Dasa, and my natal Jupiter has very high scores across the Varga charts and within the Lajjitaadi Avasthas calculation I mention above. So, this has brought me such wonderful blessing and purpose, and such expansion in my work, and, indeed, the house we moved to has brought such wonderful comfort, scope, possibility, support and blessings, and the area it’s in is total inspiration and utter beauty.
The widely spread-out hamlet once housed seventy people fifty years ago, but now only five houses are left, and the others are in disappearing ruins due to depopulation (indeed, over the last two hundred years), but then I do have Ketu in my 4th House, so this fits totally!
And note importantly that Uranus is also casting an aspect on Vedic Libra from where Uranus transits at the beginning of Vedic Aries. And this brings revolution and inspiration to people with planet in early Vedic Libra.
BUT, note most importantly, that now, in early March, Jupiter is turning retrograde. So, if you have been receiving a lot of inspiration and if you have been drawn to expand, well: once Jupiter turns retrograde, this will be the time to ‘put your money where your mouth is’, and ground and manifest, strategize and give substance to all your aspirations.
Do this needed consolidation work.
Don’t let it be a ruined crop!

Mercury turns Retrograde from 23rd March to 14th April, 2018.

At the start of his Retrograde, Mercury will be at 22 Vedic Pisces/16 Western Aries. Try to get ready for the effects of Mercury Retrograde, now, by getting all your filing and admin and other communications, done and in good standing.
I personally have literally thousands of documents to keep track of, and most complicated IT demands.
But Mercury is actually Retrograde in my birth chart (and he is conjunct Ketu/South Node and Mercury is Lord of the 12th!), so no matter how hard I try to get all my IT and communication systems into order, I always find out the many, many dimensions which I just didn’t get ready enough. It’s like being a dyslexic!
There are those who say, I believe accurately, that Retrograde planets in our birth chart indicate issues pertaining to that planet that we didn’t get right in a past life.
So, the curse (I mean gift) in this life, is that we have to take very extra special attention to the demands and affairs of that planet in this life time.
So, I hope you manage to get a lot better prepared for Mercury Retrograde period than I ever seem to!
Double-check and update!
Try not to bogged down by misunderstandings. Try if possible to sort them out! Be careful of mistakes. Double check details of financial transactions.
So, in summary, Mercury turns Retrograde at on 23rd March at 22 deg Vedic Pisces. He turns direct on 14th April at 10 degrees Pisces in UttaraBhadra Nakshatra. But it is most important to note that the Mercury retrograde effect do not fully sort out until Mercury attains his pre-retrogradation position, which will be on 3rd May at 22 Vedic Pisces.
But on the positive side, I suppose I am forced to concede that Mercury Retrograde periods do offer us endless chances to sort out, improve and upgrade our systems!
But, what do we make of Mercury in Vedic Pisces? Mercury transits Vedic Pisces March 2nd to May 9th.
Note that Venus is also transiting Vedic Pisces until March 26th.
And note that Mercury is considered debilitated in Pisces. What I would say is that Mercury’s rationality and Pisces’ intuitive currents can need careful handling.
Though what I personally would also say, though, is that the combination can produce inspired and intuitive expression.
And, of course, Jupiter’s energies enter this mix, as Jupiter rules Pisces. And although Jupiter is Retrograde, too, I do think there could be a lot of beauty, intuition, inspiration, death and rebirth, creativity and sensitivity, as a result of, this complex and infinite subtle weaving of sometimes far-out beauty and energies.

Mars Saturn Conjunction in March 2018:

Mars starts the month of March at 20 western Sagittarius/26 Vedic Scorpio. Mars enters Vedic Sagittarius on March 8th.
Mars is action. Sagittarius if Fire. Mars is aggressive and independent. Sagittarius is orientated to beliefs. Mars transiting Sagittarius will impel us to act on the basis of what we believe.

BUT, in addition to this, note that by the time that Mars enters Vedic Sagittarius, Saturn is already transiting at 13 Sagittarius.
So, this means that both Mars and Saturn are in Vedic Sagittarius, together. Mars’ conjunction with Saturn becomes exact at 14 deg Sagittarius on 2nd April, in PurvAshadha Nakshatra.
and note that Pluto is meanwhile at 26 deg Sagittarius, which is still PurvaAshadha.

So, this means that if you have planets in Sagittarius they will experience a Mars transit in March
And indeed, they will also be affected by an ever-closer growing Mars-Saturn conjunction, which will become exact on 2nd April.

Now, it’s important to realize that the energy of Mars conjunct Saturn is bumpy and antagonistic:
Mars wants to go, go, go, and in Sagittarius, he will most impatiently and desirously and even aggressively want to expand, expand, expand, achieve, achieve, achieve, and as fast as he can – he’ll want to get things done either today, or preferably yesterday! And he will brook no opposition. And he will be fuelled by your own fierce yearning to achieve.

BUT Saturn is conjunct Mars and Saturn, Lord Shani, is Lord of Karma. He insists on patience, diligence, hard work, dotting every i and crossing every t.
Guess how the two of these get on with each other!!!

Your big question: Will Saturn restrict Mars building up to explosion?
OR will Saturn direct and structure Mars, and strategize to produce achievement?
And answer this: is the choice in this question within your control and up to you, or is it NOT?

When Mars meets Saturn, Positive energy or Aggressive destruction, meets with limits based on Fear or Necessity/Practicality!

Guess how you will be left feeling in your body and in your consciousness as Mars and Saturn slug it out??? Frustrated yes. Ill: well – possibly, yes! if you are not careful to use and successfully act on this perception I am offering here!!!

And do check out the affairs of the House that Sagittarius represents in your Vedic birth chart.

AND please do note that this Mars-Saturn energy can be managed in a harnessing and healed way, now that we have heard this perception.

AND also note that this Mars-Saturn energy is potential extremely good support for technical projects.

AND it is very good support for DIY work, especially if such is overdue. Given that Maggie and I are at the forefront of the Wild Atlantic Way tourist industry (well that’s my story), I have to lay asap before the beginning of the west of Ireland Tourist Season, a concrete foundation and then build a lean-to extension then plumb and wire that, so I suppose I must say a grudging (I mean grateful cheerful) hallo to this imminent union of Saturn and Mars!!!

Saturn actually enters PurvaAshadha Nakshatra on 3rd March (where Pluto is transiting), staying in PurvaAshadha until June 5th.
Mars enters Vedic Sagittarius in Mula Nakshatra, but Mars then joins Saturn in PurvaAshadha on Mach 31st.
So, there will be a close Mars-Saturn conjunction in PurvaAshadha from 3rd March to June 5th.
This is because, in fact, Saturn does turn Retrograde on 18th April at 15 Sagittarius, re-entering Mula Nakshatra on June 5th. But Saturn ends his Retrogradation on 1st September at 8 deg Sagittarius. And then, Saturn re-enters PurvaAshadha Nakshatra on November 28th, not finally leaving Sagittarius until 24th January 2020.

N.B. To have Mars, Saturn and Pluto all in the same sign, Vedic Sagittarius, is an explosive containment energy that is quite something, and do see my comments on the gathering Saturn-Pluto conjunction in the last issues of this Magazine: February 2018.

Mars and Saturn will form exact conjunction with each other on 12th January, 2020. This will be at 28 Vedic Sagittarius, which is 22 western Capricorn, in UttaraAshadha Nakshatra.
Note that this IS AN immensely powerful conjunction. You can see the chart for the exact moment of this Saturn Pluto Conjunction at the foot of my website page: https://www.starwheelastrology.com/2018-astrology.html
However, returning to the present conjunction of Mars and Saturn in PurvAshadha Nakshatra, do note that PurvaAshadha Nakshatra is ruled by Venus, so when Saturn is transiting long-term in PurvaAshadha, this will be good for giving form to love, and also giving form to art.
However, there is the question of how these two will cope with Mars, and also note that this consolidation and structuring of beauty will need to be balanced with explosive regenerative Pluto

Have you got planets in Vedic Gemini?

Well given that three planets: Mars, Saturn and Pluto are all transiting opposite in Vedic Sagittarius, people with planets in Vedic Gemini need to be very careful during March. Indeed, Saturn transits in Sagittarius until 2020, so they will have some element of restriction and difficulty to deal with until 2010.

Venus in Vedic Pisces:

Venus moves into Vedic Pisces on 2nd March. Venus is exalted in Vedic Pisces. And this means that people with Venus in Pisces in the Vedic birth chart can be very attuned to a higher vibration of the nature and reality of love. It’s refined and compassionate. And because Jupiter rules Vedic Pisces, the two Gurus combine this month their very different focusses.
I have found it interesting to compare the ‘Alice Bailey Rays’ of these people. I offer psychodynamic and Evolutionary western astrology as well as Vedic Astrology, and I love Megastar psychodynamic astrology software, which offers an extrapolation from the western birth chart, a statement of the Alice Bailey Rays a person is born to work with this time. Often people with Exalted Venus have an emphasis of Ray 2 Love and Wisdom and Ray 6 Devotion and Idealism.
What are the Seven Rays? Well, the Seven Rays came down to us from Alexandrian Egypt. Alexander ‘The Great’ conquered it in about 300 BC and set up the Ptolemaic Pharaoh Dynasty, which ended with Egypt coming under the heel of Rome and the infamy of Cleopatra, and by weird coincidence this was at the similar time to Queen Boudica (Boadicea), Queen of the Iceni in the East of England
and Queen Cartimandua of the Brigantes in the North of England who, like Cleopatra and at the same time, both had to deal with Rome, and of course there’s also the famous Queen Maeve of Connaught of the West of Ireland at this same time, who’s coronation mound is near where I live at the wonderful Rathcroghan Visitor’s Centre.
However, to get back to the Seven Rays, Alexander’s conquest of ancient Egypt meant there was an influx of Greek philosophers to Egypt, and these Greek Philosophers met Egyptian Priests, and the result was … that the Seven Rays passed over to the West.
The knowledge of the seven rays was preserved in Europe by the Medieval Jews through the long centuries of the persecutions of the Roman Catholic Church, and was then disseminated by Alice Bailey a hundred years ago. For a modern book on the Seven Rays, read: “The Seven Rays Made Visual” by Helen S. Burmeister.
But to get back to Venus, Venus is joined in Vedic Pisces on 3rd March by Mercury, and on the 15th March by the Sun, and then on 17th March by the Moon.
Importantly, note that Venus is transiting in Vedic Pisces which is ruled by Jupiter, and at the same time Jupiter is transiting in Vedic Libra ruled by Venus. This is a powerful Parivatana yoga.
However, as I said above, Jupiter is Retrograde at the time, but I do feel we can perceive, feel, understand and use this energy, and so March could be a good month to create love and beauty. Mercury and Venus being both in Pisces will help each other at this time.
And due to the Parivatana yoga of Venus in Jupiter’s sign of Pisces, and Jupiter in Venus sign of Libra, Jupiter and Venus in Pisces will help each other too.
Venus in Pisces is a healing energy, but note that malefics Mars and Rahu/North Node are both casting aspects on Pisces in March. So, this will bring a rather fraught introjection of energies and emotional issues. Resentment at issues from our past may surface. It will be so valuable if we can heal these or create boundaries around these.
Anecdotally, on the subject of dealing with torturing family issues from our past, you might like to hear that when we visited the utterly beautiful Loch Key Forest Park near Boyle recently, and we found to our amazement that the lovely gift shop was selling ‘Watchover Voodoo dolls’ (children’s’ versions!) and one of these was called The Equaliser. And The Equaliser with its burning red eyes addresses past and present hurt and injustices, with the statement:
‘Happiness is the Best Revenge’.
Notwithstanding the fierce injunction of The Equalizer, I do think the complexities of transits in Vedic Pisces, with Chiron being there too, could make for a powerful, creative and healing tide! It would be good to be awake and ready and taking note of healing and creative opportunities in March.

Chiron changes western/Tropical signs next month:

Chiron, the Wounded Healer, has been transiting western Pisces for the last 8 years, and next month, in April Chiron transits into western Aries. This is quite a big change of psychological energy. We are at the end of sensitive dwelling into our woundedness, the psychology of Chiron in western Aries brings a new jolt of clarity and action into our healing, and in the healing of ourself, we can become the Healer of others.

Venus in Vedic Aries:

Note that after crossing into the Pisces-Aries Gandanta, Venus leaves Pisces and enters Aries/Ashwini on 26th March, reaching 6 deg Aries by the end of the month. Of course, Venus meets Uranus already transiting in Venus Aries, and this energy could be quite inspired, new and creative, to say the least.

The Sun:

The Sun starts March at 16 Vedic Aquarius (10 western Pisces). The Sun finishes March at 16 Vedic Pisces which is 11 western Aries).
So, the Sun transits Vedic Pisces from March 14th to April 13th.
Importantly, note that Vedic Pisces receives aspects from malefics Mars (in Sagittarius) and Rahu (in Cancer). So, do note that this affects the Sun, and also the New Moon of March 17th
And, importantly, note that this New Moon is conjunct Chiron at 28 western Pisces/ 3 Vedic Pisces.

The Equinox:

The Equinox is March 20th, the day when the day-length grows longer enough to equal the length of the night, and form this day onwards, the days get longer than the nights.

Lunations:

There’s a Full Moon on 2nd March at 17 Vedic Leo/11 western Virgo
(Moon in PurvaPhalguni Nakshatra, Sun in Shatabishak)
There’s a New Moon on 17th March at 2 Vedic Pisces/27 western Pisces
(Moon in PurvaBhadra Nakshatra)
And a there’s a Full Moon on 31st March. Sun in Vedic Pisces. Moon at 17 Vedic Virgo/10 western Libra

Sade Sate:

Note that Sade Sate occurs as Saturn transits through the sign before the sign occupied by the Moon in our Vedic birth chart, the sign of the Moon and the sign after the Moon. This process takes seven and a half years, and is often a death and rebirth experience and a period of fraught separations and mental tensions. With Saturn now transiting PurvaAshadha, this means that those people with Moon in PurvaAshadha are in the centre of their Sade Sate experience.

Understand the 15th February 2018 Eclipse in your life

Michael Conneely

15th February 2018 Solar Eclipse – The Astrology Around This Eclipse Event

Understand the February 2018 Eclipse. On Thursday 15th February 2018, there is a Solar Eclipse. We each need to understand it. We each need to manage our mind and heal and empower and fulfil the potential that this Eclipse offers.

Any Eclipse has an effect like an Earthquake, shaking the Earth’s crust free of tension that has built up. In our life an Eclipse can mean undamming. If it’s not conjunct a planet in our birth chart (or in a significant house – see below), we’ll only feel the general energy effect.

But of course, an Eclipse will strongly affect us if it’s conjunct or ‘on top of’ one of our planets (or opposite), or if its in one of the Houses in our Astrology Birth Chart that represents an area of our life that is ready for, and needs:  transformation – positive or challenging.

We may realise there’s a dam burst coming, or we can be living a life that hides from that.

The most recent Eclipse was 31st January 2018, and I personally found its effects vast. It was in my first House conjunct Ascendant and Pluto. I feel I came into my power in certain key areas, power and inspiration that had been cut off up to that Eclipse. Pluto is an ‘Unaspected sub-personality’ in my psychodynamic Western Astrology birth chart, in terms of psychosynthesis techniques that I teach on my courses.

This is a Solar Eclipse.  A Solar Eclipse in which the sun is obscured by the moon. So, in some ways Moon qualities and our Moon nature may take pre-eminence over our Sun-nature. The Moon may produce strange but important dreams around the time of a Solar Eclipse. Shock. The wholly unexpected. New insight may be offered. If the Eclipse is strong with you, do note what comes to you. Do protect what you are being called to do. Let the Moon advice your Sun. A project could now arise that will take at least six months (if not a lifetime) to work on. The Sun in your birth chart is your divine charioteer. He is the needed King of your Kingdom. He needs to be strong enough to chart his way forward and do the needed work. But he can’t escape the guidance from your Moon: the destiny tides, the secrets, the past. our Emotions. Why we are here. Unexpected revolution or disruption.

Do not neglect the change a solar eclipse brings. Do not let the new plant whither. Bring your Sun to play. Strategise, take command, alter your life so as to support the new energy flow and impetus! Eclipses were seen at the time of the Epics as portending The Fall of Kings. So, let your solar king take charge in the way the Moon guides. Hard though it is, be prepared to see shock or even catastrophe as gateway for new fuller life. Be prepared to see how an Eclipse that will have a powerful effect on you because of its position in your birth chart, as the arising of your Destiny!

This Eclipse of 15th February 2018, is at 3 deg Aquarius Vedic Sidereal Zodiac. This is 27 deg Western Tropical Zodiac. For the different types of value that Vedic and Western astrology offer you, please see below. Note that you definitely need both for the full depiction and accurate understanding.

The time of the 15th February 2018 Eclipse is at 21.05 hrs here in the west of Ireland. To discover eclipse time in your location, see:
www.timeanddate.com

See the charts for this 15th February 2018 Eclipse: You can have a look at both the Vedic and Western charts for this eclipse on my wonderful  2018 Astrology Website Page: www.starwheelastrology.com/2018-astrology.html

The Nature of an Eclipse: So, remember that Eclipses are like earthquakes. If there are tensions in the earth’s crust, then earthquakes smash apart the tension areas so as to create new stability, so as to destroy present tension. In fact, there are often eclipses, cyclones and tsunamis at the times of eclipses.

  • So, what is upcoming for you, now?
  • What is germinating inside you now?
  • Is your full potential denied to you by others or by you?
  • Is your greatness imprisoned and blocked?

Eclipses are particularly powerful in undamming blocked energy. They crack open imprisoning restraints that our family have placed on our life, and that we perpetuate. If we are living in a wrong situation, or in a way that denies our incarnational life purpose, and if the Eclipse conjucnts one of the planets in our birth chart, or occurs in a Key House, then our life could be demolished – with the chance that we may then build a better or more authentic life. A great enemy is our fear and denial in not admitting that our life is all wrong for us, in not admitting that our definition of ourself is all wrong for us, in not allowing in that special spark that we in fact incarnated this time in order to create and become.
Lunar Eclipses tend to have immediate effects; Solar Eclipses like this one will have a delayed effect.
This 15th February 2018 Eclipse is mainly visible in South America and other Southern Hemisphere areas, but its effects will be important worldwide – to all of us, especially if it’s on one or more of our planets, especially if its in key house in our chart.

The Vedic Astrology Effects of this 15th February 2018 Eclipse:

I am going to first of all describe the effects of this eclipse through the lens of Vedic Astrology. Vedic Astrology must use the Vedic Sidereal Zodiac, and is orientated to the depiction of our incarnational life purpose and our destiny:

You can see from my 2018 Astrology Charts web page on my Starwheel Astrology Website, that the Vedic chart for the eclipse has Sun and Moon at 3 deg Aquarius, with Mercury desperately closely caught up in the eclipse at 1 deg Aquarius, and Venus at 12 Aquarius. And note that Ketu/South Node of this eclipse is at 20 deg Vedic Capricorn. So very many people will feel mental tension at times before, during and after the eclipse, and everyone will feel to varying degrees the energies that come from this Eclipse being in the sign of Aquarius (see below) and that Mercury and Venus and Ketu/South Node are closely involved in the Heavens.

Mercury Issues: So, to the extent that Eclipse energies affect everyone, we will all need to be careful of Mercury issues: just before, during and just after this eclipse: Communication, managing our mind, posts and Information Technology.

Venus Issues: Venus is pretty close to the eclipse too, so matters of love and art and beauty could receive tension or even strong jolt, in the case of many people – or even earthquake.

Moving from the General to the individual: Which House in your birth chart does the Eclipse occupy?:

We have mentioned the general energy facets of this Eclipses that all will feel to differing degrees. We must now go on to identify Eclipse effects that will be individual to you.

Most importantly you need to identify the House the Eclipse falls in in your birth chart, and then the affairs and Life Areas of the House in which the eclipse falls. This is so as to be able to determine in what area of your life the eclipse energies will manifest, and so that you can work to positively transform or conversely even destroy areas of your life that the Eclipse may highlight for improvement and development – or destruction.

So, for example, if Aquarius where this Eclipse falls, is your first House in your Vedic birth chart, there will be quite an energy burst there. There will be challenging effects and consequences if you are ‘off course’ in your life. There will be positive effects if you are ‘on course’ for your life-purpose and destiny, and if you are on course as regards the special spark of achievement you incarnated to manifest this time. There was an eclipse in August 2017 in Donald Trump’s first House, between his Ascendant and Mars, and he became President.

You also need to realise that the eclipse will have a strong effect on the House opposite, and so please make sure that you understand what are the affairs of that house too. So, if the Eclipse is in your first house, the house opposite is the 7th – the House of marriage.

And so, to take another House-related example, if Aquarius is your 8th House, you could experience inheritance or psychic opening etc. The whole chart would obviously need to be examined to define exactly what would be affected. Within the 8th House are dangerous areas identified by the Divisional Charts (Varga Charts of Vedic Astrology (22nd Drekkana or 64th Navamsha): enrol on my Varga Course or get a Reading).

And note that the planet that is the ruler of the House where the Eclipse falls in your chart is also affected, plus the Houses that that planet occupies and plus the Houses that that planets rules. And also note that Planets occupying the Opposite House will be affected.

Your Natal Planets are affected that the Eclipse Conjuncts or Opposes:

So, even more importantly than the ‘House effect’ described above, is the effect on a planet that is caught in the eclipse area – if, indeed you have such. So, if you have a planet at 3 deg Vedic Aquarius (+/- 3 deg), where this Eclipse is,  then that planet will be very strongly affected by the earthquake Eclipse energies. The closer the planet is to the eclipse Sun/Moon, the more it will be affected.

And if you have a planet that is opposite the eclipse, it too will be affected. So, for this eclipse, watch out for earthquake, if you have planets around 3 deg Vedic Leo which is opposite the Eclipse.

Will you feel Positive or Negative Effects?

The effect will feel negative if your life is ‘off course’, i.e. if there are facets of your that you need to let go of, if you are living a lie for your true destiny, if you have potential that is imprisoned, blocked or denied, etc, etc. If you are living in complete denial, and if the Eclipse closely falls on your planets, then the Earthquake will be horrendous – but could possibly all end up for the good, your eyes will be opened, You could create a better life.

But note that if your life is ‘on-course’ for your authenticity and your spiritual purpose/spiritual path, then the eclipse energies are experienced in a way that is favourable, empowering and enabling.

Vedic Astrology Special Footnote: Note that exceptionally, many planets cast aspects on the position of this particular eclipse. There’s an exceptional situation here, a most powerful special energy mix: Jupiter casts a 5th House aspect from Vedic Libra, Mars casts a 4th House aspect from Vedic Scorpio and Saturn casts a third House aspect from Sagittarius. So these planets too are, exceptionally, also affecting the planets caught up in this Eclipse: Sun, Moon, Mercury, Venus and Ketu/South Node.

The Western Astrology Effects of this Eclipse:

I am now going to add to the above, a mention of the effects of this eclipse as depicted by our Western Astrology using the Tropical Zodiac.

Note that Western astrology, using the Tropical Zodiac (which is about 24 deg different from the Vedic Sidereal Zodiac – using Lahiri Ayanamsha) is a psychological depiction. So, this means that all the planetary meanings and energies are actually given a depiction in terms of our psychology, by western astrology.

Note that the fact is that Western Astrology depicts even our karmic/evolutionary astrology in terms of psychological effects of karmas. This is of course extremely needed and valuable, but you do absolutely need to consider the Vedic destiny and incarnational life purpose depiction as well – absolutely so! Do, obviously you consider the effects in your life and in everyone’s life and consciousness of Mercury and Venus and Ketu being caught up in this eclipse, and the fact that this Eclipse is in Aquarius, as described for Vedic Astrology above.

Your Natal House that is affected in your Western Astrology Birth Chart: But beyond the general mass effect of this eclipse, you need to consider the effects on the ‘affairs’ or the ‘Area of Life’,  that are depicted by the House that the Eclipse falls in in your western astrology birth chart. The note that the Eclipse may well fall in a different House in your Western Birth Chart as compared to your Vedic Birth Chart. So, this Eclipse is in my Vedic 8th House (i.e. more destiny orientated) but it is in my Western 7th House (i.e. more psychologically experienced).

Planets Conjunct or Opposite the Eclipse: And, of course, most importantly, look at the effects of this eclipse on your natal planets in your western birth chart, that are +/- three degrees from the Eclipse Sun/Moon at 27 deg in the Western Tropical Zodiac. It’s powerdully significant if the Eclipse falls on one of yoru chart angles. Take into account conjunction, opposition and square aspects cast by the Eclipse AND ITS NODES to your natal planets.

This Eclipse is in Western Aquarius – This is BIG. BIG! Note that Western Aquarius has an energy that gives a person a psychology that is humanitarian, but detached, utopian but eccentric, inspirational if dotty. All these psychological facets will affect the way you will experience this eclipse, so it is good to be aware of this particular Eclipse’s psychology! Aquarius is rebellious and separative as well a inspired.

What happened last time? This needs to be considered carefully! The last time Eclipses occurred in this area of the heavens, and therefore in this are of your birth chart, and therefore in your consciousness and in your life, was in January/February 1999. It may well be useful to go back and remember the themes and shifts that were happening then. Particularly, because of Aquarius’ independent nature, note if you were separating from certain individual and groups then, maybe in order to free yourself, maybe in order to achieve fuller freer life. Take into account here spiritual pathways, groups, individuals.
Look for what’s really significant.

What Shifts are Happening in your life Now? And please do absolutely check out in your life’s significant shift occurrences, NOW. Evaluate them. Support them if you asses them to benefit you. Strategies. Maintain balance. Be caring. Be inspired. Be revolutionary.

And thing may not yet be fully unveiled: Be prepared to acknowledge that the needed NEW may well possibly now still be wholly or partly beyond what you can imagine.

You may need to wait: You may have to wait for the needed NEW to unfold, either wholly or in part.

Lords of Karma Intro Pt. 2 Healing Approaches

Michael Conneely

Healing Approaches:
This is Pt. 2 of my Introduction video/blog to my Lords of Karma series where we meet and seek to heal each of the 13 planets of western and Vedic Astrology, as Lords of Karma.

As I said, in Pt. 1 of my LOK Series, my partner Maggie Pashley and I offer a wide range of invaluable worldwide Healing and Empowerment Methods, with which you may wish to enrol to work with, heal and empower in relation to karmic issues. In this Pt. 2, we look into these Healing Approaches in more detail.

And, next, you can go on to Pt. 3 of this Introduction, to be introduced to the Astrological techniques that will be used. (Link will follow when Part 3 of LOK series is Published)

The wonderful and powerful Healing methods we offer worldwide range from Heart Wall Clearing to Inner Child work, from Resonating Relationships Healing to Soul Retrieval, from Family Constellation Work to Hypnotherapy. Some are offer by myself, many more are offered by Maggie Pashley. Almost all are offered worldwide.

So first of all, here’s a list of the Healing Modalities offered by myself: These are very special Healing opportunities. They are available at one price if you enrol for them as an independent piece of Healing. Or they are available at a reduced price if you receive them as add-on modules to one of my Astrology Readings or Astrology Courses. Either way, these Healing Modalities are all geared to the development of your karmic awareness and healing. Please email me if you wish to Enrol for one of them:

Healings with myself: Michael Conneely:

Here are six examples:
1. Inner Child Work exercises consist of my sending you questionnaires relating to your developments and experiences through different age ranges, and you answer and review these, leading to your realisation of what your key attitudes are and how they arose, and what you need to do about them. There is cross referencing to your astrology and you are offered a healing culmination in key transformative statements.
2. Family Constellation Work exercises consists of visualising your family members, , raising what’s been forgotten or repressed, a guided journey to meet each, the process cross-refers to your astrology and ends with your ‘taking your place’.
3. Shamanic Journey – individual module
4. Soul retrieval is a shamanic healer technique, where you journey to meet a split of part of yourself, whose existence, often acknowledged in fact can control your life. You identify how and when that pert of you got split off, befriend and integrate your inner child.
(N.B. you have to do module 3 in order to be able to do this module 4)
Modules 3 and 4 are parts of my Shamanic Healer Course: (https://www.earthstarweb.com/shamanic-healer.html ), but people getting these individual units as part of with my astrology readings and courses, receive them at special individual price. I send you Paypal request, and we then focus on the Healing module in addition to the astrology Reading or Course.
4. Astrological Psychosynthesis Work: this is wonderful perception, healing and empowerment. We work to get authentic and embodied experience of how the energy of a planet manifests in your natal and predictive astrology in your life, and then using the psychosynthesis roleplay techniques of Assaglioni, we do work to define how that planets manifests in our life and what to do about him.
Again I send you Paypal request, and we then focus on the Healing module in addition to the astrology Reading or Course.
5. Past Life regression – using audio file or through shamanic session with me personally. This is such a worthwhile exercise.
6. What story are you living? Working with your vision journeys, worksheets and cross reference to your astrology, we work out and seek to heal and empower around the stories that you are living in respect of Archetypes such as: Innocent, Orphan, Warrior, Ruler, Magician, Sage, Lover, Destroyer, and others.

Healings with Maggie Pashley:

Maggie’s Healing Modalities utilize her vast range of worldwide distance energy healings:

1. Heart Wall Clearing is a fantastic way of releasing blocks to giving and receiving love, allowing success and greater abundance into our life and to having a better relationship with ourself. It can be done by distance sessions from wherever you are in the world. It makes use of muscle testing to identify trapped emotions caused by rejection, hurt, disappointment and trauma and clears these energetically. Find out more: www.bodycodehealings.com/heart-walls

2. Resonating Relationships – this program identifies negative beliefs we have about Relationships, modes of operating which block connection, nurturing and harmony in a relationship. We then clear those blocks using the Body Code. Find out more here: www.bodycodehealings.com/heart-walls

1. Emotion Code – developed by American chiropractor Bradley Nelson the Emotion Code uses muscle testing to uncover underlying trapped emotions holding us back and then releases them energetically.

2. Body Code – also developed by Bradley Nelson, the Body Code is based on the way he himself worked on clients and is far more extensive than the Emotion Code. It uses muscle testing to undercover imbalances in emotions, nutrition and lifestyle, misalignments, toxins, external interferences, pathogens and then clears them energetically.

3. A Symphony of Possibilities – In an SOP session you will be asked if you could get anything you wished out of the session what would it be? and then uses verbal processing (clearing questions) and energetic healing to bring you into alignment with that desired outcome

4. Access Bars – This is a gentle hands-on process involving lightly touching 32 points on the head to clear out old beliefs, programming, fixed positions that are keeping you stuck. Has been likened to defragging a computer, pressing the delete button on old files in our brain to make room for what we can truly be without the old baggage.

5. Access Body Processes is a gentle hands-on treatment, dialoguing with the body to find out which of over 50 treatment options it currently requires to become freer and more empowered. Can boost immune system, help you reconnect with your body and feel more grounded, release repeating patterns, family scripts and more

6. Breakthrough sessions – designed to help you go beyond areas of stuckness in your life and uses a combination of the many powerful energetic healing techniques Maggie is trained in. Each session is different and tailor-made to your particular situation.

7. Hypnotherapy allows a deep inner focus to access your unconscious mind enabling transformation in a much easier way. Great for fears, phobias, clearing old limiting habits, and developing greater confidence and self-esteem.

8. EFT – Emotional Freedom Technique involves tapping on meridian energy points on the face and hands to rebalance your body’s energies. It has been proven to reduce stress emotions, is effective for fears and phobias, reducing pain and tension. It can help clear unwanted habits and behaviour and create more positive empowering ones.

9. Metamorphic Touch – involves a gentle touch on the feet, hands and head to create an unconditional, open space to connect you with your own inner wisdom and unique gifts and strengths.

10. Bodywork – if you are local or staying at our Sligo Coast airbnb in the West of Ireland, you can choose to have a session of relaxing bodywork. Maggie uses a combination of massage, shiatsu stretches, reflexology and healing to help you feel de-stressed, invigorated and restored.

Myth and Archetypes:

And do note that there in addition, are two other Study, Healing and Empowerment Methods that powerfully underpin our journey together of learning about your planets as Lords of your Karma: these two other study dimensions are learning about the nature and energy of the planets as: Myth and Archetypes:

Myth: Myth is a most powerful means of understanding the planets and their energy and recognising their karmic energy when and where they manifest in your life.

Archetypes: Archetypes are a huge, dramatic and clear message to our minds, emotions, souls and intentions, when we are feeling and experiencing the impacts of the planets as Lords of Karma.

Heart Wall Clearing – Clearing blocks to Love, by Maggie Pashley

One of the most popular healing modalities I use with clients is Heart Wall Clearing. Heart Wall clearing focusses on clearing blocks to giving and receiving love, creativity and success as well as creating a kinder, and more intimate relationship with your own being.

Many people can readily identify with having a barrier to love, whether it’s an inability to appreciate themselves, choosing unavailable or risky partners, pushing away the love that is there, feeling love is elusive and always outside their reach. It can be an ambivalence towards relationships which is not surprising if we have been badly hurt by an ex-partner, by parents or other care-givers.

A Heart Wall is initially created with a positive intention – that of keeping us safe and protected from further hurts. Yet as time goes on it becomes more and more restrictive, cutting us of from what could nourish us as well as what we perceive could harm us. With a Heart Wall present we are filtering our life through the lens of past hurts and not being able to see what it currently here. We can expect to be rejected or hurt and unconsciously attract people to us who do just that. We may avoid relationships altogether or be in a relationship which has no real intimacy.

Another way in which Heart Wall can affect us is by feeling we have to wear a mask to the world and present only what we consider is lovable or acceptable. And because we are not being real it will be impossible for people to really connect with us in any meaningful way and that will only compound our sense of unlovability. We can also reject our creativity, our creations and hide our gifts to the world.

So what is involved in Heart Wall clearing?
Heart Wall Clearing is part of the Emotion Code, a healing approach developed by American chiropractor, Bradley Nelson and uses muscle testing to uncover underlying emotional blocks and then clear them energetically. As I am based in rural Co Sligo the vast majority of my sessions are distance sessions where I stand in as a proxy for them and muscle test myself on their behalf. We meet on-line and my clients can feel very much involved in what emerges during a session. Of course, the most important thing is how much freer and lighter they can feel longer term. Heart Wall clearing normally takes at least three sessions but can take longer which is why I recommend that my clients take advantage of my Heart Wall package.

Some responses to Heart Wall clearing
These are very personal and range from feeling more relaxed and confident, to having better relationships to attracting a new love or opportunities into your life. In my own case, I was single for 13 years after a difficult marriage and even more difficult divorce and while on the face of it I was saying I was open to meeting a partner, I had a massive Keep Off sign on my forehead, and was secretly terrified of the idea of a relationship. Three months after clearing my Heart Wall I met Michael and we have now been together over 8 years. I don’t think I would have been open to that without the Heart Wall clearing. And while there were still some issues to work on within the relationship, I was able to see I could do that together and not run off or reject the rich potential that was on offer.

I worked with a client who told me that the whole atmosphere in the family changed when I started Heart Wall clearing on her mother the previous year. Another client of mine told me how her own mother was feeling much happier and had started dating after I had cleared her (the daughter’s) Heart Wall. This can be because during Heart Wall clearing we not only clear trapped emotions from this lifetime but inherited trapped emotions that come from our ancestors.

Other people have reported feeling more content, happier and confident in themselves, not needing approval and more able to value themselves and acknowledge their own needs. Some have changed jobs to do work more in alignment with their true interest and gifts or made more space for themselves in some way. One general theme seems to be about being more open to life and what is possible now rather than creating a repetition of the past.

For me the beauty of Heart Wall clearing is that it is very direct and pinpoints those events that have really been too much for us to deal with at the time and have not been fully processed. Yet it does it in a gentle and discreet way where we do not have re-experience those painful past emotions or re-enter the trauma and drama and the clearing is very simple and matter-of-fact and it works. And finally that which we have feared that we would be unsafe or too vulnerable without that old protection proves to be wrong as we are more in touch with what is right for us and what is harmful. It makes it more difficult to stay in situations that don’t serve and it makes it easier to go for what can. We are more able to listen to that inner voice which is there to keep us safe and trust our instincts rather than dismiss that inner knowing.

The Astrology of February 2018 from Michael Conneely

First, some background Information:

Please note that this Astrology of February 2018 Newsletter is backed up by two wonderful informative website pages from my main Starwheel Astrology website.
The first of these brings you an extensive reference point offering of all the astrology charts and tables and background information which are referred to in the monthly newsletters. See: www.starwheelastrology.com/2018-astrology.html
And please note that the second of these is a deeply informative ‘Planets Information‘ page for 2018, see:
www.starwheelastrology.com/2018-planets.html This webpage provides cumulatively added to reports on the planetary energies and issue etc. of 2018.

I hope these website pages will prove to be a useful and supportive resource to all, offering understanding the astrology of their Destiny, and how to support its best unfoldment in 2018, as well as using this perception for their Healing and Empowerment through 2018.

Which Zodiac?
Please note that my astrology uniquely combines the declarations of both Western psychodynamic and also Vedic Astrology, and offers this as a route to our Healing and Empowerment. I do feel you need to have the combination of both Western and Vedic Astrology if you are to fully understand your Astrological destiny, karmic issues and also emotional scripts and sense of self.
Note that Western astrology uses the Tropical Zodiac which is based on the position of the Sun at the first day of Spring each year, and being Sun-sign based, it depicts our egoic psychological self; and at its best Western astrology is wonderfully psychodynamic.
But Vedic Astrology is orientated to the stars and it depicts our incarnational life purpose and our destiny (of which our psychological self is only a part) and Vedic Astrology must use the Sidereal Zodiac for correct interpretation and prediction. The two Zodiacs are currently 24 degrees apart, and they diverge by a further degree every 72 years.
See my video on ‘Which Zodiac to Use’: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XK7AGMzsmKA&t=1s

Please read on below for detailed Planet information and guidance for February 2018, and first before that, here’s my brief February video:

Uniquely, Michael combines both psychodynamic Western Astrology and also Vedic Astrology Course in his worldwide Readings and in his many worldwide courses from foundation to advanced. And also, in these Newsletter’s, you’ll find reference to the Nakshatras that the transits and eclipses etc of each month are activating: the Nakshatras are the wonderful 27-sign lunar zodiac of Vedic Astrology that add such ancient reliable and thorough declaration of our emotionally based identity (warts and all!) and of its spiritual potential as well. Michael also specialises in visionary contact with the planets in his astrology courses, so as to realize their pure divine nature as well as how they manifest in your birth chart (which is usually very different).

Now, let’s start by looking at the Outer Planets:

1. Uranus:
Uranus was stationary in the heavens at the very start of 2018, but he soon turned direct and now he is forging ahead with speed, fire and inspiration.
Uranus starts the month of February 2018 at 24 deg 57 western Aries, which is 0 deg 50 Vedic Aries, and Uranus moves one degree during the month.
Uranus is revolutionising Vedic Aries and especially Ashwini Nakshatra people. Healers are being created.
And note that Uranus is energising Libra people by the opposition he is casting to Libra. Note that Librans will be wired because of this Uranus transit. They will be inspired. They will sever from ways that no longer suit them and they will bring in revolution.
You can see the movements of Uranus in the Astrology of February 2018 and each of the planets, plus Moon Phases and more from the chart for 1st February 2018 which is shown half way down my ‘2018 Charts and Tables’ astrology webpage:
www.starwheelastrology.com/2018-astrology
And in addition to the charts, you can read some examples of what this Uranus transit means (and the transits of all the planets) on my ‘2018 Planets Information’ webpage:
www.starwheelastrology.com/2018-planets
Evolutionary Astrology: Regarding Uranus: In addition to Uranus in the Astrology of February 2018, I’d like to introduce to you an important insight from Western Evolutionary Astrology: This is that Uranus is the Past Life Trauma indicator for you.
So, the fact is that the House and sign that Uranus occupies in your Western Astrology birth chart is a very special indicator for unresolved issues from past life.
So, note that you will be offered the chance for resolving these unresolved specific Past Life deficits by experiencing Trauma in the relevant area of life in this lifetime.
So, for example, if you have Uranus in your 11th House in your Western birth chart, then this means that it will be in Groups, especially, in this life that you will experience Trauma. And you will experience this with the divine intention being of offering you a chance for healing unresolved issues from past life relating to Groups. You will need to experience, suffer, develop perception and bring healing into the way you relate to groups!

2. Neptune:
Neptune starts his Astrology of February 2018 at 12 Western Pisces (tropical zodiac), which is 18 deg Aquarius (Vedic sidereal zodiac).
He finishes the month at 13 Western Pisces or 19 Vedic Aquarius
For charts and Tables webpage, see:
www.starwheelastrology.com/2018-astrology
And see my ‘2018 Planets Information’ webpage:
www.starwheelastrology.com/2018-planets
Note that Neptune is now very slowly transiting in Shatabishak Nakshatra. Shatabishak is the 24th of the 27 Nakshatras, the wonderful, ancient and supremely powerfully declarative Vedic 27 Lunar Signs: a magnificent guide to our emotional self and to our consciousness arising therefrom.
The depiction of our personality and destiny from the Nakshatras is very much both ‘warts and all’, our awful negatives as well as our positives: our supreme spiritual potential arising from our emotionally based consciousness.
Shatabishak’s focus is quite mystical and special and spiritually ‘contained’, and certainly the energy is all about the person healing themselves – and then being able to heal others.
So, in the case of those with personal planets in Shatabishak Nakshatra, Neptune’s transit here means that some Intuitive Healers are now being created here!
NOTE: Mars-Neptune: on 17th February, Transiting Mars in Vedic Scorpio squares Neptune exact at 19 degrees Scorpio/Aquarius. The affairs of Mars Neptune include secrets, and the affairs of eclipses include the surfacing of secrets. This Mars Neptune conjunction is a mere two days away from exact on the day of the 15th February Eclipse. This mars in Scorpio will bring in intensity and violence.
NOTE: Venus-Neptune: there’s a transiting Venus conjunct Neptune conjunction on 21.2.2018, exact at 19 deg Vedic Aquarius in Shatabishak Nakshatra.
Neptune to Venus Transits: In addition to Neptune in the Astrology of February 2018, I’d like to make an especial note that Neptune’s transits are incredibly powerful. They creep up on us oceanically. They are not hard hit moments, but they are vast beyond belief – and wrenchingly life-changing. And so, for example, if you have this Neptune transit opposition your natal Venus, you will now be experiencing yearning for ideal beauty. You will be yearning for a beauty too ideal ever to be actually found! You will be more sensitive, visionary, artistic and mystical. But the downside is that you might experience loss (or even delusion, if you are that way inclined). And you’ll need to beware being too critical when reality never matches up to your sense of, and your craving for, the impossible ideal!!!

3. Pluto:
Pluto starts off his Astrology of February 2018 at 19 degrees western Capricorn. This is 25 degrees Vedic Sagittarius.
Pluto finishes the month at 20 deg Western Capricorn, which is 26 deg Vedic Aquarius.
For charts and Tables webpage, see:
www.starwheelastrology.com/2018-astrology
And see my ‘2018 Planets Information’ webpage:
www.starwheelastrology.com/2018-planets
Within the Nakshatras, the wonderful 27 Lunar Signs of Vedic Astrology, Pluto is in PurvaAshadha Nakshatra.
And note that I think that a major offering of Pluto to these people is the explosive release of their potential from blocks and formulae. I feel these people can typically so often harm themselves by embracing too formulaic a spiritual path, too formulaic a guru, and laying a too formulaic trip on others as well!
PurvaAshadha is ruled by Venus, and so there can be some release being offered in terms of art or sex or beauty.

3. Saturn conjunct Pluto: note regarding our discussion of Pluto and the Astrology of February 2018, that an important dimension of Pluto’s placement at this time is the ever-closing ‘Saturn Pluto’ conjunction:
This is a vast energy-gathering affecting the world generally, in that Saturn is now steadily transiting towards Pluto in the heavens.
Children born from now until 2010 will have this conjunction in this birth chart. And this will be a huge part of their Karmic Destiny and psychology.
Saturn is now at 10 deg Vedic Sagittarius, so, Saturn is only 10 degrees away from Pluto now, and closing!
They will form exact conjunction with each other on 12th January, 2020. This will be at 28 Vedic Sagittarius, which is 22 western Capricorn. Note that this immensely powerful conjunction is also conjunct Ketu/South Node, Jupiter, Sun and Mercury, all of them in Vedic Sagittarius as well!!
You can see the chart for the exact moment of this Saturn Pluto Conjunction at the foot of my website page: www.starwheelastrology.com/2018-astrology
And, so, what is the nature of the great gathering might and power: this vast time-bomb Saturn-Pluto phenomenon?
Well, I think the Saturn Pluto phenomenon is all about ‘held power’. And, negatively, people with this conjunction in their birth chart can be very formidably determined, and just not able to open to the flow, nor release their rigidly-held life prisons, and they imprison others as well (e.g. in ideological prison of political correctness, or in prison of inappropriate geographical location, just to name two examples).
But positively what is it? Well I think it can be the karmic ability to combine power with structure, to use strategy and containment for achieving powerful wonderful death and rebirth transformation.
Saturn does represent our central karmic bedrock, our especial blocks. The people who use their Saturn Pluto conjunction negatively just don’t know how to let their transformation explode or flow. They need to bring in healing – easier said than done! And they need to find empowerment. I know all about how very hard all this is: I have natal Saturn conjunct Venus.
When Saturn Pluto people are using this conjunction negatively, they have their grim formulae! And they will impose it on others!
But, remember, Saturn’s energy is also positive of course. Yes, he demands of us patience, endurance, ability to take the hard work, the provision of suffering circumstances and scripts so that we can make the needed spiritual and karmic progress in this life, and achieve Saturn’s offered Golden Reaping
Pluto? Well, Pluto on the other hand is the seed and essence of our own power. Pluto is our potential for needed death and rebirth. Pluto smashes the blocks put there by our karmic path and by our families and by ourselves: blocks to our fulfilment.
But when it’s a case of Pluto’s conjunction with Saturn, obviously, Pluto is our locked-up power! Pluto is our caged Power, Pluto is our denied Power!!! Pluto is held in prison by Saturn, and this is a power we cannot access. And so, it’s power denied; it is power that festers; it is power that imprisons. We are talking here of Pluto imprisoned and blocked by Saturn is our own power that we are afraid to access.
Pluto’s power is needed and beneficial, but it can be terribly, terribly dangerous if not allowed to express itself properly, and so can be used as ‘power over’. This caging of Pluto so that his power suppurates and leaks out of the denied corners of our life-prison can so disempower ourself – or others! And we can FEAR our own power. And note that Pluto denied, is a Pluto that FESTERS.
BUT on the other hand, we do see that if we have a case of ‘Our Pluto freed’, and our Pluto ethically perceived, understood and handled, then such a Pluto is actually our channel to having the intuition, insight and expression of power, that is needed so that we can actually become our Divine Nature.

4. Chiron, the Wounded Healer:
Chiron, is our Existential Wound, and potentially if we do the healing work: the wonderful Wounded Healer in our chart – and in our life. In the Astrology of February 2018, Chiron is now at 26 western Pisces (using the Tropical Zodiac), which is 2 degrees Pisces in the Sidereal Zodiac that is used by Vedic Astrology.
Chiron finishes February 2018 at 27 Western Pisces, which is 3 deg Vedic Pisces.
For charts and Tables webpage, see:
www.starwheelastrology.com/2018-astrology
And see my ‘2018 Planets Information’ webpage:
www.starwheelastrology.com/2018-planets
Our deep understanding of your Chiron benefits from being interpreted using BOTH your Western Astrology Chart and your Vedic Astrology Chart, and the position of Chiron in our Vedic birth chart offers additional intense illumination to the western astrology depiction.
Varga Charts (Vedic Divisional Charts): And not only that, the fact is that the position of Chiron in our Vedic Divisional Charts or Varga charts is also intensely illuminating.
Vedic Astrology has a wonderful system of assessing whether a planet is Exalted or Debilitated in your birth chart and in your life.

And Vedic Astrology also has a wonderful series of Divisional Charts (called Varga Charts – sometimes the term harmonic charts is used). Vedic Astrology Varga charts are derived from the main Vedic birth chart, where each Varga chart makes the most wonderful special and uniquely valuable declaration as to a specific area of your life such as: Marriage, ancestral curse, wealth, spiritual nature/worship, overall strength/limitation of each planet’s potential manifestation in your chart in therefore in your life, etc.
For details of my wonderful Varga Course, see: https://www.advancedvedicastrologycourse.com/varga-course.html

Your Chiron Return: A really important event to be aware of is your ‘Chiron Return’. Chiron takes fifty years to orbit the Sun, and so when you are aged about fifty, you experience your ‘Chiron Return’. Chiron depicts our ‘existential wound’, in the healing of which we may become the Healer of others.
So, what happen is that your Chiron Return precipitates a Healing Crisis, often a ‘crisis of meaning’ as well as a ‘crisis of health’.
And at this time, you have no choice but to accept or refuse the crucial challenge aimed at you. And note that to re-evaluate and heal your life. If you were unwilling to take the needed healing steps at the time of your Uranus opposition at about the age of forty, then the Chiron Return will be all the more difficult.
Often, health problems are triggered by our unwillingness to confront or honour our genuine feelings and true nature.
5. The Nodes of the Moon: Rahu North Node and Ketu South Node:

Rahu/North Node moved into Vedic Cancer at the time of the August 2017 Eclipses, and so at the same time Ketu South Node moved into Vedic Capricorn.
The Nodes take eighteen months to transit a sign, so the Nodes will remain in these signs until 8th March 2019 (Mean Nodes).
The Nodes are huge shadow energies with immense effect on the out-turning of our lives.
The Nodes are also the depictors of our incarnational destiny, understood in terms of our psychology using Western Astrology Tropical Zodiac, and understood in terms of our Incarnational Life Purpose and its Unfoldment using Vedic Astrology Sidereal Zodiac.
In fact, the position of the Nodes of the Moon in our birth chart state our incarnational destiny: Ketu South Node shows what we come into this life with from our past lives. And we are thrown across our chart towards the energy of Rahu, always opposite Ketu. The energy of Rahu has to be driven for us to get to our destination, but we will not actually arrive there unless we purify Rahu in our life.
The energy of Ketu and Rahu is actually that of Demons. They are eclipse points. But because Vedic Astrology is Tantric, our task is to find our personal Light through our personal Darkness that the Nodes embody.
We are here to burn our Negative Karmas. We are here to manifest our very special spark and talent in this lifetime.

Note that the energy and manifestation of Ketu in your life is complicated, and includes Past Life material. Maggie is in Jupiter-Jupiter-Ketu Dasha or ‘Vedic predictive period’ (i.e. two three levels: Main Dasha and two levels of sub periods) and her Ketu is conjunct Neptune in 12th House Virgo in her birth chart, and fascinatingly she started up intuitive healing of held bodily pain work in this period: talking to your unconscious to heal held long term bodily pain.

Nodes transiting Signs:
In the Astrology of February 2018, note that while Rahu transits Vedic Cancer, we may indeed be driven to a focus around emotions and nurture, home and mother.
I feel part of the divine goal is to put us more in touch with our instinctual nature. And note that the emotionalism of Cancer may bring you turbulence and stress, emotionalism and fears.
If you are a Cancer 1st House/Moon, you may well become more powerful at promoting yourself and more charismatic during the Rahu transit of Vedic Cancer.
If you are Libra 1st House/Moon, this Rahu in Cancer transit is in your 10th house of Career, and will ambitiously promote career.
And with Ketu transiting Capricorn, well: Ketu brings otherworldliness; indeed, his insights can burst with catastrophic-feeling suddenness and awfulness, but for divine purpose. But here he is working within the sober structure of Capricorn, so I feel his aim includes bring a more spiritual dimension to our work, strategies and ambitions, and of course we may have to deal with Ketu wanting to undermine our needed business structures in our life. Or of course some people may utilize Ketu’s energy here to push out fundamentalism.

Kal Sarpa Yoga: I feel that Kal Sarpa Yoga energy exists when all the planets of Vedic Astrology are enclosed on one side of the Nodal Axis, but I also feel that the Kal Sarpa Yoga continues until one of the other planets has moved out beyond the sign occupied by these enclosing Nodes. So, for this reason I would say that Kal Sarpa Yoga exists in the heavens until at least one planet moves outside the two opposite signs of the nodal axis. In other words, in the Astrology of February 2018,  I feel that this Kal Sarpa Yoga episode continues until Venus leaves Capricorn, the sign occupied by Ketu/South Node on 5.2.2018.
I would also say based on my pragmatic experience and authentic observation, that Kal Sarpa Yoga remains in force including at those times when the Moon moves outside the Nodes-enclosed other planets during the Moon’s transits round the zodiac each month. I say this because the Moon being out there alone and unsupported makes the challenge to the Mind and Consciousness even harder: the Moon is Kemadruma or Unsupported.
The energy of Kal Sarpa Yoga is divisive, though of course, it is absolutely crucial to note that some individuals can use this difficult spiritual challenge to develop their spiritual awareness and level of consciousness to great levels. The Kal Sarpa Yoga energy is noted to be in some cases extreme, intense, preposterous and aggressive, restless. Often very hardworking. but in some other cases passive. Donald Trump has Kal Sarpa Yoga in his birth chart, and he was elected President at the time when there was Kal Sarpa yoga in the heavens as well.
Kal means time and Sarpa means snake. The term yoga is used because this combination can be seen as a difficult karmic rope that it is very hard to untie: a difficult destiny to untie.
I would say that, by my definition, the Kal Sarpa Yoga re-asserts itself from 16.7.2018.

Nodes transiting Houses: And in addition, we have of course to take into account the House that Rahu is transiting. So, for example, if it’s a case of Rahu transiting our first House then we will become more driven to assert ourself in the world. But remember that this will mean that Ketu is transiting our 7th house of relationship so this may mean that our spouse is feeling ill or under the weather or lack of confidence, and so some of our Rahu assertion needs to be directed to support of our spouse.
Note that Rahu’s 18-month transit through Vedic Cancer will cast an aspect onto Vedic Scorpio.

Nodes transiting Nakshatras (Lunar Signs of Vedic Astrology):
Rahu, always retrograde using Mean Nodes, transited into the end of Capricorn at the time of the August 2017 Eclipses.
Rahu in Nx 9 Ashlesha: and thus, in terms of the 27 Nakshatras, the 27 Lunar Signs of Vedic Astrology, Rahu entered the 9th Nakshatra Ashlesha (starting off at the end of Ashlesha and Cancer: the 4 degrees of Gandanta Zone).
Ashlesha is serpent energy, so this is huge for those with planets in Ashlesha. Optimally it means their being motivated to embrace their depths in death and rebirth change of consciousness. Negatively there’s emotional turmoil and storms. Ashleshas need to avoid rationalising their experiences, or handling them formulaically, but need to authentically engage with their experiences and authentically transform. They may best seek deep mystical experiences during this transit.

Rahu in Nx 8 Pushyami: Then, when Rahu has finished transiting through Ashlesha, Rahu will move into the 8th Nakshatra Pushyami Nakshatra on 27.4.2018. more about Rahu in Pushyami in future issues of this magazine.

Ketu in Nx 22 Shravana: Note that while Rahu is transiting Cancer, Ketu is transiting Capricorn, always opposite Rahu. And note that within Capricorn, Ketu is transiting Nx 22 Shravana Nakshatra on 1.1.18 at the start of 2018 until 30.82018. Ketu in Shravana could promote a very spiritual even mystical energy.

6. Saturn: Sade Sate, Ashtama Shani and Saturn Return:
It is very important to be aware if you are in Sade Sate (the seven and a half year period when Saturn transits across your natal Moon), Ashtama Shani (when Saturn transits your 8th house from natal Moon, or a Saturn Return (when Saturn returns to his natal position once every 28 years). For charts, see webpage: https://www.starwheelastrology.com/2018-astrology.html
and see my ‘2018 Planets Information’ webpage: https://www.starwheelastrology.com/2018-planets.html
In the Astrology of February 2018, Saturn starts February 2018 at 4 deg western Capricorn, moving to 7 deg Capricorn by 1st March.
In the sidereal Zodiac of Vedic Astrology, Saturn moves from 10 deg Vedic Sagittarius in Mula Nakshatra to 13 Degrees Vedic Sagittarius, still in Mula Nakshatra. Saturn entered Vedic Sagittarius on 26th October 2017, and he will remain in Vedic Sagittarius until January 2020. Sagittarius is ruled by Jupiter and is an expansionary and optimistic energy. But Saturn is contractive, so at this time, the meeting of Opposites should lead to us learning to ground our ideals, and strategize our expansionary urges. Painful? Probably! Useful learning? Definitely! Learning to slow down? Oh, no, surely not that!
Saturn Transits through Nakshatras:
Saturn entered Nx 19 Mula Nakshatra when he transited into Vedic Sagittarius transits on 26th October. Saturn continues to transit Nx 19 Mula Nakshatra until March 3rd 2018, when he enters Nx 20 PurvaAshadha.
What is the deep spiritual understanding of Saturn transiting Mula Nakshatra ruled over by Dark Goddess Niritti? See my two-part video:

7. Jupiter
Jupiter is in Libra in Vedic Astrology. Jupiter entered Vedic Libra on 11th September 2017 and in the Astrology of February 2018, Jupiter starts off February 2018 at 27 deg Vedic Libra.
This is 21 deg western Scorpio in western Astrology Tropical Zodiac, moving to 23 deg western Scorpio by 1st March.
Jupiter in Vedic Libra promotes the possibility of the person agreeing to partnership and marriage. There’s artistic creativity, diplomacy and business optimism.
The air signs may feel more joy – and there can be overeating! Over-expenditure! Overindulgence!
Jupiter Stationary to Retrograde: But note that this is Jupiter slowing to Station. And on 9th March 2018, Jupiter turns Retrograde at 29 deg Vedic Libra.
And note that when a planet’s velocity is slow, the effect of his energy is all the stronger.
Note that you must expect a less expansionary sense of purpose once Jupiter stations and turns retrograde, and so allow for this in planning and monitoring your work and projects.
This stationing Jupiter in Vedic Libra will bring a lot of humanitarian benefits at the time of the 15th February Eclipse and all the more so as February gives way to March.
In Vedic Astrology, Jupiter is continuing his year-long transit of the Vedic Sign of Libra. So, whatever house Libra is in your Vedic birth chart will receive the blessings, purpose and enlargement of transiting Jupiter. And remember that Libra is also receiving explosive revolutionary energies from Uranus which is transiting opposite in Vedic Aries at this time.
In our case we moved to a new house when Jupiter entered Vedic Libra (which is my 4th House of home), and we have been so happy and blessed with our new house, which is on the Atlantic Coast of Sligo near Ireland’s most ancient sacred monuments, and near three of Ireland’s finest surfing beaches. We have set up a healing centre and AirBnB. The area is lovely and deeply rural and wholesome.
And Jupiter is also casting favourable aspects to Vedic Aries, Aquarius and Gemini as he transits Libra.
House: To assess the effects of this Jupiter through Libra Transit you need to take account of what House Libra is from your natal Ascendant and from your natal Moon. For example, for Piscean Moon’s this Jupiter 2018 transit is 8th House and could bring inheritance. For Cancer Ascendant this Jupiter Libra transit will bring move of house or great improvement where you are living.
Dasa/Predictive Period: Note that you do have to take into account the Dasa or Predictive Period you are in to assess the results of any Transit. So, in this case, if your Jupiter is in good standing in your Vedic birth chart, and if you are in Jupiter Dasa or Predictive Period, then this Jupiter transit through Libra will go very well for you.
See my Prediction Course: www.advancedvedicastrologycourse.com/advanced-vedic-prediction
Jupiter’s transit through the Nakshatras 2018:
Basically Jupiter starts 2018 in Nx 16 Vishakha Nakshatra, but dips back into Nx 15 Swati briefly (18th June to 2nd August), then returning to Vishakha. He then moves on into Nx 17 Anuradha and then Nx 18 Jyestha.
So, Jupiter starts 2018 at 22 deg Vedic Libra in Nx 16 Vishakha (which is ruled by Jupiter, power animal the Male Tiger). Jupiter in Vishakhas can bring out the talents of advisor or counsellor, though Vishakha dangers can be aggressive focus, and maybe for some alcohol etc.
Jupiter continues to transit Direct until he reaches his Station at 29 Vedic Libra, still in Vishakha on 8.3.2018.
Jupiter then Retrogrades and reaches 20 deg Libra on 18th June when he enters Nx 15 Swati (ruled by Rahu, power animal the Male Buffalo).
This Retrograde ends on 10th July at 19 deg Libra, still in Swati Nakshatra.
Jupiter then moves forward again, reaching 20 deg Libra and re-entering Vishakha on 2nd August 2018 and Jupiter continues on Direct and leaves Vedic Libra to enter Vedic Scorpio on 11th October 2018, though still continuing in Vishakha which overlaps into Scorpio.
Jupiter in Vedic Scorpio could bring out deeper spiritual energies.
Jupiter then enters the next Nakshatra, Nx 17 Anuradha on 27th October 2018, at 3 deg Vedic Scorpio. And Jupiter enters Nx 18 Jyestha on 27th December 2018, ending the year at 17 deg Scorpio.

8. Mars:
In Vedic Astrology, in the Astrology of February 2018,  Mars moves from to 9 deg to 26 deg Vedic Scorpio, in February 2018.
And Mars is at 3 deg western Sagittarius on 1st February, moving to 20 deg western Sagittarius on 1st March.
Mars entered Vedic Scorpio on January 16th and he leaves Scorpio for Vedic Sagittarius on March 7th. Note most importantly that Mars rules Vedic Scorpio, and so his energy is very powerful and penetrating, and could be occult. Mars can be made turbid by the sexual or hurt energies that are held in Scorpio. Mars in Scorpio is ANGER.
NOTE: 2018 Mars gets more and more angry and strong. It REALLY IS IMPORTANT for you to recognise when this sort of energy is arising, and seek to focus the current of your Mars energy into chosen and productive strategies, pursuits and leisure activities.
MARS WARNING AHEAD: AND YOU WOULD NOT BELIEVE the issues of Mars energies that are repeatedly coming up as 2018 progresses! Positively we are called to manifest and ethically manage strong warrior spirit.

Check out what House Vedic Scorpio is in your birth chart to see what area of life this Mars-Power will especially be penetrating! Note that Mars in Scorpio is not good for relationship areas of life.

9. Venus:
Venus started 2018 at 15 degrees Vedic Sagittarius, following which, Venus entered Vedic Capricorn on 13th January 2018, where Venus remains until February 6th. So in the Astrology of February 2018, we need to be aware of the effect on our Venus energy of Venus’ transit through Vedic Capricorn and Vedic Aquarius.
Venus is in a friend-ruled sign when transiting Capricorn, and this is good for relationships, technical abilities and aesthetics. Taurus and Libra Lagnas or Moons will benefit from this energy.
Venus conjuncts Ketu in the heavens on January 29th and for several days either side of this date. Carefully monitor the quality of your loving relationship at this time. Beware the triggering of rejection scripts, including tendency for these from past lives. There could possibly be deeply spiritual relationship at this time.
On 6th February Venus moves into Vedic Aquarius, with Venus then entering Vedic Pisces on 2nd March 2018.
Venus in Aquarius is generally a creative and innovative energy.
Note that Venus is caught up in a complex web of energies from the five-planet conjunction in Vedic Aquarius in February 2018, with Sun, Moon, Mercury, Neptune and Venus.
See the charts for 1st day of both February and March 2018, as well as for the eclipse on 15.2.18, on my 2018 charts webpage: https://www.starwheelastrology.com/2018-astrology.html
So, essentially Venus is in Vedic Aquarius for February 2018.
in western astrology, Venus starts February at 17 deg western tropical Aquarius, moving into Western Pisces on 11.2.18, and finishing February at 21 deg western Pisces.
Venus Combust: It’s important to note that Venus is combust the Sun for the first half of February, up to February 19th, and this does mean that we will need to be careful to avoid love, pleasure and art being swallowed up by Solar Will, Assertion and Drive in our life!
Venus will be in Nx 24 Shatabishak (Aquarius 6.40-20.00) from February 11 – 22nd, Shatabishak is ruled by Rahu, and is self-contained and independent, and also the sign where healing one’s self creates the healer of others.

10. Mercury:
In the Astrology of February 2018, Mercury transits Vedic Capricorn from 28th January to February 14th. And Mercury then transits into Vedic Aquarius from February 14th to March 3rd.
Mercury is exactly conjunct Ketu South Node on 9th February at 20 degrees Vedic Capricorn. Beware confusion or even anger. Monitor desire for change.
And so, of course, Mercury too is caught up in the complex energy web of five conjunct planets in Vedic Aquarius described above (plus aspects being received from other planets too).
Watch for new and unusual thoughts at the time Mercury transits Aquarius. And also, be aware of that dimension of Aquarius that is about both rules and brotherhood of man, and also inventiveness and thinking outside the box.
Note that Mercury is very closely eclipsed on 15th February. Mercury is at 1 deg 43 Vedic Aquarius and the Sun/Moon eclipse is at 3 deg 1 Vedic Aquarius.
NOTE Mars square Mercury: On February 28th Mars squares Mercury in the heavens, so in the run up to this aspect and during it, use Mars Mercury combination with perception and care, and avoid angry speech.
Mercury enters Vedic Pisces on 3rd March: Oh no! Mercury is debilitated in Pisces. Do sort out your communication and IT issues during February, or you will regret it. And expect all your communication and IT issue to take a lot longer to process and handle once Mercury has entered Vedic Pisces.
Indeed, Mercury turns Retrograde at 22 Vedic Pisces on March 23rd. so really do take care, especially if you have Retrograde Mercury conjunct Ketu in your birth chart as I do!!!
However, it is possible that with Mercury in Pisces you might experience a more intuitive mindset.

11. Sun:
Sun transits Vedic Aquarius from February 12th to March 14th. Aquarius is ruled by Saturn, so this does mean that our expression of our Sun, the Divine Charioteer in our life, will be somewhat muted and less expansive. And we may need to bring careful awareness of what is going on at this time in terms of our Sun doing his needed work as the King of our Kingdom, who needs to go forth to do what must be done for the good and thriving of the Kingdom.

A most important feature of the Sun’s energy in the Astrology of February 2018, is that on Feb 4 Sun conjunct Ketu 20 Capricorn, Shravana. Importantly, Ketu greatly weakens the substance and confidence of the Sun. And yet another dimension to add to this is that both Sun and Ketu are fiery in nature and can lash out. When these two characteristics combine, there could be nasty situations.
Feb 6 Venus enters Aquarius, Dhanishta (until Mar. 2)
Feb 13 Sun enters Aquarius, Dhanishta (until Mar. 14)
Feb 15 Mercury enters Aquarius, Dhanishta (until Mar. 3) Mercury is conjunct Ketu on February 9th. This will be inspirational, intuitive and spiritual and/or very erratic and disorganised.
Feb 16 New Moon Solar Eclipse 3 Aquarius, Dhanishta. This eclipse will particularly affect Leo and Aquarius people.
Feb 17 Sun conjuncts Mercury 4 Aquarius, Dhanishta

12. The Solar Eclipse of 15th February 2018:
A major energy in the Astrology of February 2018, is the Solar Eclipse of 15th February. What will the effect be of Sun, Venus and Mercury all transiting over the Ketu/South Node, in January and early February? This follows on from the eclipse of January 31st 2018.
I for one will monitor what is going in in my consciousness, emotions, and management of my life PLUS Also inspiration, in this run-up to the 15th February Eclipse, where Sun and Moon are also in Aquarius, at 3 deg Aquarius.

The Eclipse New Moon of February 15th is a ‘Sun conjunct Moon’ Eclipse, and this Eclipse occurs at 3 deg Vedic Aquarius.
This Eclipse falls in Nx 23 Dhanistha in terms of the 27 Vedic Lunar Signs.
This is 27 deg Western Aquarius in the western Tropical Zodiac.

The Eclipse is at 21.05 hrs in the West of Ireland. For Time and Date of Eclipses and other astrological phenomena where you live, see:
http://www.timeanddate.com/
Although there were no planets occupying Vedic Aquarius at the start of February 2018, there will be an amazing five planets plus Ketu South Node all in Vedic Aquarius by the moment of this Eclipse: Sun, Moon, Venus, Mercury and Neptune plus Ketu!
People with planets in Vedic Aquarius will really feel these energy shifts.
Actually, we will all feel these energy shifts, whether or not we have planets there, because we will feel the shifts in the area of life for the House that is the Vedic sign of Aquarius in the first half of February 2018
You can see the chart for this 15th February Solar Eclipse, one third of the way down the chart page for 2018: https://www.starwheelastrology.com/2018-astrology.html
And note that there’s even more power to this eclipse than what I have already stated! This is because, amazingly, in addition to this five-planet conjunction named above, there’s a further three other planets are additionally casting their ‘special aspects’ to Vedic Aquarius:
Jupiter casts a 5th House aspect from Vedic Libra,
Mars casts a 4th House aspect from Vedic Scorpio and
Saturn casts a third House aspect from Sagittarius. All three of these are giving their special aspects to Aquarius at this time, energizing and bringing focus to the sign and the planets that will be moving through it.
So, this means that if you, personally, have planets in Vedic Aquarius in your birth chart (or Planets in Vedic Leo opposite) then those planets of yours will be most complexly and powerfully energised by this February 15th Eclipse.
And of course, for everybody, the House affairs that are Aquarius in their chart will receive these powerful and complex eclipse energies.
And so, for example, if Aquarius is your 10th House, career matters would receive shocking complex jolt. Indeed, we need to expect to feel shifts in our life in those two earlier weeks at the start of February.
We’ll feel these shifts as Venus, Sun and Mercury all move from the Vedic sign of Capricorn, into the Vedic sign of Aquarius, to join Neptune already there in Vedic Aquarius, of course.
In detail, Venus moves in to Vedic Aquarius on February 6th, the Sun moves in to Vedic Aquarius on February 13th, Mercury on February 15th and, last of all: Moon moves in to Vedic Aquarius on February 15th in the afternoon of the day of the Eclipse, which actually occurs, itself, at 21:05 hrs, here in the West of Ireland.
So, the first half of February 2018, will be a growing, powerful energised time. And note that the energy will particularly affect the affairs of the House that is Vedic Aquarius in your Vedic birth chart.

Lords of Karma Uranus Pt. 3: Astrology

Michael Conneely

It would be wise to Look at Uranus Part 1 and Uranus Part 2 Before reading further here (thank-you)

In part 3 of Uranus as Lord of Karma, we look at the way to analyse the Astrology of Uranus, natally and predictively. And we look at the issue of whether the karmic impact of Uranus is fated, or whether we can do something to perceive, understand and then change/transform the effect of Uranus in our life.

Uranus in our Birth Chart: Fated or Not?

Uranus is a crucial part of the karma with which you start your life. He is one of the planets in your birth chart which are in fact a map of your destiny and potential, your karma and your means to achieve growth in relation to your karma. Here’s a list of the topics we take a look at in this blog: just a tiny few of the themes for understanding of Uranus in our birth chart:

1. Uranus v. Saturn
2. Uranus in the Signs
3. Uranus in the Houses
4. Uranus Aspects to other planets
5. Chart Aspect Shapes and Uranus:
6. Uranus Retrograde:
7. Uranus in Aspect to the Nodes of the Moon:
8. Uranus in Synastry:
9. Uranus in our Predictive Astrology: Fated or Not?

1. Uranus v. Saturn:

Uranus brings bursts and phases of awareness and inspiration. Fresh new insights appear out of nowhere. What you always knew was there but pretended wasn’t, suddenly becomes plane.
If you’re sensitive you can feel the beams of inspiration coming and going. They heighten your awareness, they stimulate you intellectual perception. They enhance your intellectual energy. You discover things about your life and your present phase. You find new solutions. You see how stuck or inhibited you’ve been. You become spontaneous, and can make sudden decisions and take sudden new directions.
Saturn grinds away with a life of blocks and duties. Uranus steps in and shatters them.

But: Remember: Saturn castrated Uranus!!!

Uranus breaks illusion.
Uranus frees you from dependency.
Uranus lets you insist on your right to strike out into revolution.
Uranus jolts you to break free from your shackles.
Uranus makes you agile. Keenly aware. Whole.

You now know that God is an energy that flows and manifest through you. Turn away from the imposed bureaucratic priesthood and the goo-goo stupid congregation, and the manipulative ‘charm’ of the priest.

Importantly you loosen your hold on your past scripts. Be prepared for the erratic. You are spurred to change your patterns and obsessions. They seem of less consequence. They are seen as outmoded and overdue for replacement.

Uranus energy brings you sudden higher awareness, sudden big-picture perception, instant knowing. And you must stand up for this. Don’t let others drag you down. Sudden ability to do things better and faster. It is an enlightenment. Uranus breaks inner barriers to his enlightenment. He blows apart outgrown thought patterns and preconceived family or societal programming and stuck unthinking limited beliefs and attitudes.

Uranus also acts on your life powerfully as your life predictively unfolds. He brings you karmic challenges, as well as inspiration and energies of revolution with the divine purpose of destroying your blocks and maximising your realisation of your potential.
You need to perceive their scope and definition, and perceive what is their most positive meaning and potential.

Above all you must be prepared to stand up for your uniqueness.
You must be prepared to stand up for your new perceptions, beliefs and intentions. No sniffing at life! No stuck patterns, now!
Freedom, originality, self-honesty
You must be prepared to strike out into new continents.
You must be prepared to be different from those around you.

Your Uranus karmas are not fated. You need to see them as opportunities for healing and for your empowerment. You need to be able to be discerning both about clinging to blocks that you are crassly letting hold you back, and abut new presentiments and goals which are impractical. Observe your thoughts, desires and behaviour; bring discrimination. Detach yourself from relationship scripts which hold you back from seeing the truth, and from being open to revolution.

And you must be thankful and celebrate what Uranus has brought you to. Delight in your constant amazement. Accept fascination. Cherish change.

My Astrology Readings and Courses are expert and caring ways for you to do this, with totally individual teaching methods.
They include optional healing add-ons
And Maggie Pashley’s worldwide healings are a powerful way to work with your Uranus challenges.

2. Uranus in the Houses:

Take as example Uranus in 11th House in your birth chart: karmically, Uranus is about trauma held in past life memories, about uprising against capricious and unjust tyranny, in the subtle mind, the subjugation and devaluation of our full potential, about our past life subjugation to outmoded institutions.

We can usefully contact and work with these past life karmas through past life regression, dream work, vision journey. Our other lives become a necessary quarry for self-healing, for individuation, for becoming the fullness of the special spark we incarnated to become.

The Outer Planet Uranus – a God of Change, can thus become an Evolutionary Agent.

So, let’s take a brief look at an example: Uranus in 11th House:

this is the person who is destined to experience (and heal from the experience) of living an inner lie due to experience of rejection or punishment, of fitting into groups on a false basis as a result. The attempt to fabricate security out of false, conditioned, imposed ways produces enormous mental stress, fear, crippling anxiety and emotional torsion: enforced living of a lie, in fact the inability to see the truth until the Uranus healing crisis arrives!

And how often does this individual make dysfunctional fittings in to groups, until the healing crisis finally arrive, and he finds and insists on his true worth, and so refuses any longer to fit into the unworthy groups.

3. Uranus in the Signs:

Take as example Uranus in Cancer. Clearly Uranus’ passages through Signs are generational, but we can usefully take a look for the need to heal Uranus trauma and re-birth in respect of the individual who has Uranus in Cancer. Does he need to experience early or indeed ongoing absence of good mothering so as to learn to mother himself? When will the healing crises come that will end his pattern of going for mother’s milk where it can never be found??? What are the effects on him of this karma: helplessness, touchiness? Dependence, worthless self-image?
We can seek to identify Cancerian past-life experiences. Was there imprinting in the womb? What were the circumstances of his birth and conception? What childhood wounds? What emotional scripts?

4. Uranus in Aspect to our birth chart planets:

Take as example Uranus in aspect the Sun:
Sudden inspirations. New creativity.
Swift and sudden important developments.
You are abruptly shaken out of your stuck ways.
You face life with new courage and faint in your own powers.
You clear away limitations
You want the new. You strive obsessively for your dreams to come true.
Uranus opposition Sun can force change upon you.
Health treatments can go well.
Negatively:
Your life becomes wild and chaotic, unpredictable and disruptive
Accidents.
A big theme running through our life is the Saturn – Uranus dilemma.

5. Chart Aspect Shapes and Uranus:

Psychotherapeutic Astrology has a magnificent repertoire of chart aspect shapes that identify the personality structures caused when planets aspects form chart aspect shapes, including of course unaspected planets.
These represent karmic structures within the personality which get revealed to our perception at predictable dates, and which can be worked with using psychosynthesis approach.

Here’s an example:

6. Uranus Retrograde:

If you have a planet retrograde in your birth chart this has huge karmic effect. You will have difficulties with all the life-principles that your retrograde planet represents and indicates. You will have to take extra car with the principles represented by that planet. You will have to do hard karmic work to get right the nature and function of that planet. You will have got it wrong in past life. Or you will realise in your between-life taking stock that you ar ready to learn more about the life-functions of that planet. And so will have to work extra hard to grow your handling of that planet in this life. Astrological perception around the nature of your manifestation of a retrograde planet in your life is crucial.

Retrograde Uranus means that you will find it harder to bring in needed revolution. You will find it harder to receive and implement the call to revolution when your Uranus transit happens.

Retrograde Uranus plays havoc with relationships. It can make the person false to their identity. It can lead to irritability or fighting. It can make it so hard for them to express their inner freedom, and so this is taken out on the partner.
Retrograde Uranus make the individual scatter his efforts in a driven way to find information and paradigms that will help him fill the aching void that he lives in a way that is false to his individuality. He may have learned something about independence in a previous lifetime, and is now really tested to implement it, and harmonise it with other areas of his life, or perhaps he was not independent enough in previous lifetime.

7. Uranus in Aspect to the Nodes of the Moon:

When analysing the manifestation of Uranus in conjunction to one of the Nodes of the Moon: Rahu North Node or Ketu South Node, the house and sign in the Vedic Cart needs to be taken into account. The western chart will depict the psychological implications.
Uranus conjunct the South Node Ketu is the person who came from a Uranian past life: maverick, eccentric, individualist, who may reply on the wisdom from the past and have channelling abilities and can be a mystic now. But on a lower level of manifestation, this individual is scattered and erratic.
North Node Rahu conjunct Uranus is he gadget lover. But at the higher manifestation this is the individual who is attuned to collective forces, creative, shocking or revolutionary.

8. Planets square the Nodes:

If you have Uranus square Nodes: look for past life effects such that the person now is driven by the need to find liberty from excessive, blocking demeaning past life conditioning. Crises in individuation are created.
This is a past life trauma indicator: analyse Uranus by sign, house and aspect.
Past life fear blocks individuation or proper authentic self-expression.

Vedic astrology provides incarnational life purpose statement from study of the nodes in your birth chart and planets aspecting them
Western astrology also provides a definition of the effects of the nodal axis, but the definition of western astrology is more a psychological statement.

9. Uranus in Synastry:

In general terms, if Uranus of one partner strongly aspects a personal planet of the other partner, or if one partner or both is strongly Uranian, then these can be the themes:

Intense, fast rushing into relationship

Want total excitement
then
Freedom, impersonality, aloofness.

Spasmodic – or fluctuation.
Unstable and sporadic
Gets bored. Experiments
Always bringing in the new scheme or fanatic interest
These people get close and are then suddenly distant.
They protest frustration at closeness; then they protest frustration at distance.
On-off relationships
Love affairs.
POINT: SUN/URANUS

PRINCIPLE: A revolutionary spirit, A progressive mind. Excitement. Upset.

C: strained or tense inner life. The self-willed reformer.
BIOLOGICAL: the rhythmic functions of the cells and body. Pulse. Breathing
SOCIOLOGICAL: the innovator, the reformer, the inventor, the technician, the Rebel.

Venus-Uranus: The Venus-Uranus person Can be quite techie and surf the internet when her loving guy wants closeness time.

10. Uranus in our Predictive Astrology – Fated or Not?

First of all, in regard to this topic of Uranus’ Predictive Astrology, here’s some predictive data:
Uranus orbit is 84 years
Uranus’ first square to his natal position is around 22 years. The guy tours the USA on a motorbike or emigrates to New Zealand!
Your Uranus opposition is around 42 years.
Your 2nd Uranus square is around 63 years.
Your Uranus Return is at around 84 years. This is spiritual rebirth when experienced at its highest.

Uranus Transits call for you to rejects blocks and limitations, to look within yourself now, and to open to the call for your fulfilment of your karmic potential.
Uranus has great power, dynamism, suddenness and intensity, so you are called to make a clean sweep of what limits you now, and embrace revolution and inspiration.
Uranus will bring you intuitions, urges, obsession, visions and inspirations to force you to open to his energy of revolution in your life and discard what’s limiting. He works with dreams, visions, feelings and presentiments.
Uranus works with you in the physical, mental, emotional, spiritual and artistic spheres.
Weirdly, Uranus is both democratic, iconoclastic and also the individualist autocratic leader!
Uranus is very attuned to electronic devices and gadgets.
Uranus at his highest is esoteric, with hidden explosive powers.

Full Moon Eclipse 31st January 2018, Blue Moon

Michael Conneely

Full Moon Eclipse 31st January 2018 : What Effects will there be in your Life afterwards?

Here are some genuine and thoughtful pointers to how to understand today’s eclipse, using both Vedic Astrology and Western Astrology, with eclipse charts provided (see below).

What I’m offering here is the intelligent and learned, informed way to decode the effect of an Eclipse in your life. This is not the usual formulaic rabbiting on!!! And you are most welcome to have one of my wonderful worldwide Astrology Readings or to enroll on my caring and totally individual worldwide Astrology Courses.

Note that Eclipses are very powerful earthquake energies. They cause tsunamis. And they cause earthquakes and tsunamis including in our lives.

And of course, Eclipses are more likely to cause the earthquakes and tsunamis in our lives, if the eclipse falls on one of the planets in our birth chart. Or if the eclipse falls on a chart angle such as the Ascendant. Or if the eclipse triggers issues held pent up in a particular House in our birth chart. So, if it’s our 7th House, this will be relationship issues.

And of course, the nature, scale and effect of our earthquake/tsunami will depend on how much tension is built up in our life. How much is blocked? How much is dammed up?

We should stick to the analogy that an earthquake releases tension that has built up in the earth’s crust: earthquakes release tension in the strata that can be held no longer.

And note that earthquake takes place beneath the vastness of the ocean, then a huge tsunami will be formed: a tidal wave will crash up onto the land and obliterate (and make room for new growth)

And so, of course, depending in the nature of the tension that is built up in our life, the effect of the Eclipse earthquake will be felt to be ‘good’ or ‘bad’.

The Details of this Eclipse:

See the charts in western and Vedic Astrology: go to the Charts and Tables 2018 Page on my readings website:
https://www.starwheelastrology.com/2018-astrology.html
And I also provide a ‘Planets Information’ page for 2018, see: https://www.starwheelastrology.com/2018-planets.html

This Eclipsed Moon is at 11 deg at 11 deg Leo and Sun at 11 deg Aquarius in Western Astrology Tropical Zodiac. Ascendant 11 Aquarius.

So, Eclipsed Moon at 17 deg Cancer and Sun at 17 deg Capricorn in Vedic Astrology Sidereal Zodiac.
Ascendant 6 Gemini in Ardra Nakshatra.
Note that the Eclipsed Moon itself is in Ashlesha Nakshatra whose power animal is the Serpent. And so this could produce deep hurt , painful eruption and transformation in Ashlesha natives.
But the eclipse is only just into Ardra Nakshatra, and so people with Sun Moon or Ascendant in the preceding Pushyami Nakshatra will also be strongly affected by this eclipse.
For details of Ashlesha Nakshatra, see: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R0nvWaJPtcA&t=25s and  //blog.starwheelastrology.com/worldwide-nakshatras-course-and-ashlesha-nakshatra/

So, Ask the Question: What is dammed up in you, now, on this Full moon, 31st January 2018 ?

And so, if it is love or creative energy that is dammed up in our life and if an Eclipse happens on a relevant planet in our chart, then we will manifest that dammed up creative or love energy potential.

And if it is your Power that is dammed up (for example if you have Unaspected Pluto in your birth chart), then you might have dam burst spraying of your power all over others! You’ll be driven, and the Dark Lord Pluto will arise!!!! Things could arise apparently from nowhere in your life like the entities that issue forth every Samhain/Halloween from the cave of The Morrigan near here: Oweynagat – the cave of War Goddess of the ancient Irish.

OR, surely, better, than that, you may have worked with your power issues and studied your astrology chart, and so you’ll know that the power flow the eclipse will most certainly trigger, will need to be handled in balance with the rest of your life, and be handled with care not to harm others. And so, in a real way, you’ll come into your real power!

BUT if we are at a situation where we are refusing to let go of things that we utterly need to lose from our life, now, then we could experience downfall or collapse (but hopefully because we were clinging on to that which should die, and hopefully with a chance for ‘death and rebirth’ later on).

Your Mind on this full moon 31st January 2018:

And of course, there’s the important issue of ‘management of the mind’. As an example, say you have an isolated Moon in your birth chart, then you’ll be prone to repetitive thoughts even ‘OCD’ scale. When the Moon has no planet either side of it in the Vedic birth chart its called a ‘Kemadruma Moon’. Then you’ll need to learn to live with repetitive mind thoughts, or even better, learn to get out of the box (prison) they create for you, so as to see and experience and express the vaster horizons of your true self, that special creative spark you incarnated to express, and the vastness of the divine gifts that are out there (and inside us).
I think it was one of my wonderful students on my Ogham Course (Ogham is the Celtic Tree Alphabet of the ancient Irish Druids), who sent into me this observation:

The insider that opens the door of my being
That is my restless and vivid mentality
There’s not so much of an enemy outside (not sure I agree with that bit!!!!!???????)
But INSIDE: That’s the one that needs watching carefully

Are you strong enough for your Task?

And then of course there’s also the issue of the strength in your chart. Are you strong enough to positively reap from the energy flow that an eclipse will release if it falls on a planet in your chart? (and you could add here: strength for doing what?)
Vedic Astrology has a wonderful system of assessing whether a planet is Exalted or Debilitated in your birth chart and in your life, and Vedic Astrology also has a wonderful series of Divisional Charts (called Varga Charts) derived from the main birth chart, where each Varga chart makes most wonderful declaration as to a specific area of your life such as: Marriage, ancestral curse, wealth, spiritual nature/worship, overall strength/limitation of each planet’s potential manifestation in your chart in therefore in your life.
For details of my wonderful Varga Course, see: https://www.advancedvedicastrologycourse.com/varga-course.html
And, for example, if you have your Sun or your Moon or your Ascendant/Rising Sign/Lagna in one of the three Gandanta Zones (the dangerous, immaterial but potentially inspirational transition points from Water Sign to Fire Sign in your Vedic birth chart), then you might be weak and lacking in confidence for the things of this world (and yet be very sensitive, and hopefully you’ll find that special inspiration that can be the gift of Gandanta.
And what is strength anyway? In Vedic Astrology there are wonderful ways to measure the strength of each planet in your birth chart and to measure and state how your planets treat each other.
You can book a reading from me at: www.starwheelastrology.com/buyanastrologyreading
And it would be wonderful if you subscribed to my Master Vedic Astrology Foundation Course:
It’s caring and vast, and there’s many more advanced course you can go on to learn more advanced techniques from me as well. There’s vision presentations of all the Vedic and Western planets, mediations and so much more. There’s western astrology/Vedic astrology crossover within the course if you wish for it. See: www.mastervedicastrology.com

Sub Personalities: OK – So, which part of you is affected by the eclipse?

And then of course there’s’ the issue of Sub Personalities. I am a great believer in the wonderful declaration of Psychodynamic Astrology, and the effect that Assagioli’s model of Sub Personalities had on Western Psychodynamic Astrology. There’s a whole system I use in my Readings and teach in my courses based on psychosynthesis. I use the Megastar program which is pretty good at detailing the char aspect shape in your birth chart, which are such good pointers to the sub personalities in our chart and therefore in our life.

And it’s important to note that the Eclipse might trigger a subpersonality that is cut off from the rest of the chart: ‘Unaspected’, and this might mean that something we never know was there (well, that’s our story!) raises its head and arises to take over!!!!! Or more positively, we may come in to our wonderful qualities that up to now were cut off from our awareness.

Past Life Trigger?

And of course, there are Past Life issues that can be triggered by an eclipse. Ketu, the South Node of the Moon, is the great declaration of our Past Life. We come in to this life where Ketu is in our birth chart. And we are thrown to the other side of our chart to where Rahu, the North Node of the Moon is in our birth chart as the indicator for our Destiny, our Incarnational Life Purpose this time!

Western Evolutionary Astrology using the Tropical Zodiac declares our Incarnational life purpose and Destiny in terms of our psychological self and how our Life Purpose will express and unfold psychologically, in terms of our Individuation, our getting to know our psychological Egoic Self. The Tropical Zodiac is based on the point of the Sun’s position on the first day of Spring: The Vernal Equinox, a moving position against the backdrop of the stars (moves a degree every 72 years) so being Sun-sign based, it’s depictive of our egoic psychological Self. So, we’d look to western astrology to explore the psychological consequences of Past Lives.

But Vedic Astrology, which must properly use the Sidereal Zodiac, makes an utterly vast declaration of our incarnational destiny and our incarnational life purpose this lifetime. So, we’d look to Vedic Astrology for declaration of the Destiny implications of Past Lives.

Why am I so interested in this Eclipse?

Well, Rahu North Node of this Eclipse falls on my natal Pluto (which is Unaspected in the first House in my Western Astrology birth chart), and it’s within less than 3 deg orb from my Ascendant.
And also the Ascendant of the Eclipse falls exactly on my natal Uranus.
And transiting Uranus falls within less than one degree on my natal Moon.

Now, according to the ancient dictums, eclipse on your Ascendant can mean downfall, and the toppling of Kings.
Although the eclipse Sun and Moon at 4 deg Vedic Leo, of the Eclipse of 21st August 2017 fell on Donald Trump’s Ascendant and Mars – and he became a President for good or ill!.

But I predict that my blocked-up power will be freed by today’s eclipse, and I will manifest more successfully in the world. Do get in touch with me for a Reading to decipher the effect of this eclipse (and so much more) in your chart, OR to enroll on one of my wonderful worldwide Astrology Courses.

By the way, when making Predictions, you do need to take into account the Dasha, or Predictive Period of Vedic Astrology that the person is in, and the standing of the planet that is their Dasha Lord. Vedic astrology has an immeasurably wonderful sequences of Predictive Periods called Dashas that unfold from the moment of your birth with the start point in the sequences depending on the exact position of the Moon measured by the Sidereal Zodiac of Vedic Astrology (not the tropical zodiac). I entered Jupiter Dasa a year ago and Jupiter is very strong in my chart (I’m not boasting, other planets in my chart are totally trashed and weak), and so this will give me purpose and Big Picture and the ability to manage the Power that the Eclipse will free up.

Beyond these personal dimensions, we note that this Eclipse is in Vedic Cancer, so in a background sense the energy will pint us towards issues of our emotional reality and care for ourselves, and of course you have to take not the which House the Eclipse falls in in both your Western astrology charts and also your Vedic Astrology chart to decode the effect of the eclipse in your life. Lunar Eclipses normally have pretty immediate effect. Solar Eclipses have delayed effect. The power of an Eclipse is partly determined by the period of visibility of the Eclipse from the surface of the Earth. The closeness of the Moon to the Earth’s surface at the time of the Eclipse is also an important factor.
