This course will change the way you see life!

Punarvasu spans 20°00′ Gemini to 3°20′ Cancer. It is Ruled by Jupiter (though also a strong Mercury influence in first three padas in Gemini). Punarvasu’s Devata is Aditi, the unbounded Goddess of Infinity who can give wealth and abundance, virtue and nobility, and protection of children. She has 12 sons called the Adityas. She tends healthy seeds to bear fruit. Punarvasu’s Symbol is: The Bow or a quiver full of arrows. Its Yoni or power Animal is: Female Cat.
Punarvasu’s Ayurvedic Dosha is: Vata: the wind that carries away the storm clouds of Ardra, the preceding Nakshatra. Its Temperament: Gana: Divine – the first ray of sunlight after the storm of Ardra.
Punarvasu’s Star is: Castor and Pollux: their story is of fame and courage, but a cold and heartless nature. Only one of the twins was divine. Castor is naughty and cruel, Pollux is generous and wise. The twins represent the two sides of human nature, where the energy of Punarvasu seeks to establish happy equilibrium.
The four Padas or quarters of Punarvasu are: Aries, Taurus, Gemini, Cancer.

Punarvasus have strong inner resources and an ability to bounce back. They are philosophical, religious, spiritual, likeable,
charming and forgiving, idealistic, honest and truthful to the core. They value family and the home.

So, ‘positively’, this is a person with a ‘sky is the limit’ attitude, seeking unlimited recognition and luxury with no regard to cost implications, fertile imagination, forgiving attitude. Well-placed in society when Sun occupies, a gifted curious mind with deep understanding of situations when Moon occupies: well-versed and scientific in attitude.

But the shadow side is to over-intellectualise and mentally endlessly vacillate. They can philosophise and ask endless questions though not wanting answers, as they stagnate and give their lack of drive and focus full reign, and end up confused and disillusioned, unable to let go of that which should die. Negatively, procrastination, excessive idealism and pure laziness prevents the start of the needed journey.

The Punarvasu Principle is the return of the light after the storms of Ardra, bringing philosophy, inspiration and wisdom. The ability to bounce back: return and renewal and prosperity. Energy and resources. Safe return from any mission. Caring and accommodating. There is a lot of motion: going and return on all the planes: physical, mental, emotional or astral. Homely comfortable life with periodic adventure/upheaval.
